It was such a fun experience! Nigel is an awesome trail guide! I'm definitely going back for more horseback riding here in the future. Make sure you wear really warm socks if you go in the winter because my toes were numb by the end of it. They have a barn with a fireplace to warm up after the trail ride and the barn cats are so cuddly :) I think they should renovate the little kitchen area in the fireplace room into a cafe because I definitely would have bought a hot chocolate or cider afterwards.

We came two times already for my 3 year old daughter’s pony rides, she loved it and every time refuse to get off the horse. Today I took my mom for the 2-hour trail ride with our guide Erin, as her 63-year birthday present, and we both had a blast! I had Peanut and my mom had Dakota, both are mild mannered gentle horses, and Erin and staff has given us great education and support for us to feel confident and comfortable with our very first horseback riding adventure! The scenery and animals are amazing to see and experience on the horseback, and the river crossings are our most fun adventure. The whole experience was so magical and we definitely want to come again!

My family and I had a wonderful experience with Conestogo River Horseback Adventures - what a fun and creative idea to get everyone involved for a birthday! Each of the horses were excellent, especially my large chestnut mare - Peanut. They are very docile, surefooted, easy for anyone to maneuver, and you can sense that they will work hard to satisfy their riders with a pleasant and safe trail-riding experience. The guides for the day, Abby and Erin, were exceptional in their roles. As an experienced rider, it felt great to get back on the horse after a few years off, plus my family members - most of which did not have previous experience with this activity - felt relaxed, safe, and happy to be on their horses led by Abby and Erin. The whole experience met my expectations, and it was wonderful to know that my family enjoyed themselves so much that they would do it again!

What an incredible experience! It’s been years since I was on a horse. Yesterday spent hours riding through the beautiful Fall foliage, to the adorable town of St Jacobs and then back to where we started. It was the best bday present and I would do it again anytime. Tatiana was our guide and was informative and amazing! 5 stars all the way.

Wonderful place for kids. We did pony ride and worth it. My kids enjoyed. Guide was super friendly and helped me for thw walk with kids as I am alone with two kids. Super people and super helpful. 100% recomended place . Thanks for the wonderful day.

We had a very lovely time riding. Horses were very calm and knew exactly what they were doing. Definitely book the longer trail.

I visited yesterday with my friend and we took the 1 hr trail ride led by our awesome guide Lizzy. I got to ride Russell, who was an absolute sweetheart. You can tell the horses are well taken care of and trained impeccably. Thanks again for an amazing experience!

Absolutely great experience. Staffs are all friendly, and the they checked the saddles before the ride and gave all safety related instructions carefully before the ride. The horses are very easy to ride on and very well trained. Will come back again!

This is an amazing experience that everyone should try. Blair and Tygen made sure we are all comfortable and safe along the journey. The scenery is incredible. Definitely recommend.

My girlfriends & I had a wonderful time at CRHA! The horses were well behaved, the trail was BEAUTIFUL & the guides (Blair & Melissa) were wonderful. 10/10 would recommend & I am already planning my next trip out there. Thank you so much for the amazing time!

VERY disappointed. Been coming to this farm for YEARS, and have loved coming here because I just do, feel at home here and the family that owns it are warm friendly people. I have referred many for camp programs and trails rides, it's local, and comfortable. At times, referral feedback has not always been the greatest, but no matter how I could relate, it was something I chose to personally dismiss and keep to myself. That being said, I do agree that supervision is poor with camp scenarios, and although I could elaborate more on personal experiences, I will leave the rest alone. My biggest letdown as of recent, which has changed my mindset about this much loved farm entirely was a trail ride paid in full for my daughter and I that was to be one hour in length. This trail ride ended 35 mins in because of late comers. After calling to discuss the issue, the result was that the guide would be spoken to, there was no compensation for paying for something in full and receiving 50% of what was offered and expected. I'm saddened to say, but in future, will likely not return here. This situation was not dealt with fairly.

Blair and Tegan were excellent guides! Friendly, reassuring, and professional. We felt very safe during our trail ride and had a lot of fun. Russel and Mystique (horses) were relaxed and cooperative.

We had a blast on the 1 hour trail ride. Blair and Val are awesome trail guides with a great sense of humour. The ride was fun, adventurous and most importantly, safe! Blair and Val match you with a horse and give you a quick lesson to make you feel at home. Would highly recommend and go again!

we have been to horseback adventures many times, and loved every single visit! today my 4 year old got to try out a pony ride and absolutely LOVED it! our guide Melissa was so kind and informative. highly recommend!!

Went horse riding for the first time with my husband and had an amazing time! Great experience with the horses and the trail leads Blair and Lizzy:) Spent an hour on a beautiful trail. Will be coming back in summer!

We had a fantastic time on the 1h trail ride this weekend. Our guides Val and Emily were awesome and really made it a relaxing and fun experience for us as first time riders. The horses were absolutely beautiful and obviously very well cared for and trained. I couldn’t recommend it enough and will certainly be back !
