I can see where the charm can be, but my experience is different. Service was slow and the pricing was outrageous. It's a place if you have money to toss around and feel hip. Don't get me wrong, I'm used to Toronto, but it felt like it was trying hard to be a bar close to one. It was dirty inside, chaotic, very tight, and even the drinks fell sort of a high end bar like Tango in Kingston where they use fresh ingredients in their cocktails. Ok place. I'm just not your type of client.

Really fun spot. Local music daily, great cocktails. Large patio in the back

I've been many times and the drinks are good, good service, and the courtyard is so beautiful and cozy. The live music is always good too. I went to a music painting workshop hosted by Modern Fuel Art Centre and taught by the amazing Savannah Shae. Savannah also sang and played her guitar afterwards. Her voice is so beautiful. She performs on Sundays 4-6pm. You don't want to miss her!

Great cocktails and atmosphere, beautiful art. Was invited by the downstairs bartender to go upstairs for live music. When we got up there, were told by the upstairs server that there was no room. The room was full of patrons dancing in the middle ***without masks on***, as well as people standing around ***without masks on***, and we did see plenty of standing room. Interesting that we weren't let in. When live music ended, the patrons then went downstairs to settle up, crowded up the main floor, and there were a number of people standing around without masks. We were also sat at a table covered in a solidified sticky drink, making it clear it wasn't sanitized.

Super cool spot tucked away between two restaurants, and to be honest, I had missed it until a few months ago when I passed it open at night one time. The selection of whiskey and scotch was over my head, but he knew his stuff. This place has little labyrinths in it that lead to lands of make-believe. Secret gardens, old attics, and a little window seat, all vibing nightlife legends even in the quiet daytime light beams; where old entangles with new. This is every artists safe space. I didn't go to eat, but indulging these authentic and handcrafted bevies mixed by the owner, Harvey, may as well have. These deserve a food group all of their own 🤤🤤 Highly recommend the mojito! It's one of the best ones I've had in YGK to date.

Attended the live music event on the 2nd floor what a surprise to see a full 4 piece band. The RETRO KINGS play terrific classic and incredible new songs. Service was very attentive, but the staircase could use a bit more lighting. We had a very good experience and will definitely return. Modt definitely recommend this location for terrific music, an array of very interesting beverages, and of course, the friendly service!

Poor service I was there for 15 minutes and it was completely EMPTY except one person. But there were multiple workers who pick favorites by how good people look. Musiikki needs to learn not to pick favorites and when we left and not even my drink was being made and when we left the worker said peace out.

A small bourbon and cocktails respite for the world-weary. Run by musicians and this shows. Frequent live performances upstairs or outside in the courtyard weather permitting. You can bring outside food inside! Humans hang out here so be careful -- they might expect conversation from you ;)

Staff didn’t proved accurate contact info Of the owner after I requested so after A performer said the place was a waste of a venue. Drinks are good. Don’t expect mourn else

This is my favourite bar in Kingston. The drink menu is all very delicious as far as I can tell! The service is really good. The bartender or server's description of the drinks make you want to get one - which works out great since it's a bar.

Cool spot. Good to go with people you know. They have live music and they make good cocktails. They also have tea and coffee if you're not a huge drinker.

By far, this is one of the top bars of Kingston. From the moment you walk in it feels like home. The staff will make every effort to make you feel at home and recommend drink choices that reflect exactly what you want. If you want a different drink, the bar staff is happy to recommend the best drinks possible to fit your pallet. This place is worth your time. Please stop by if you’re in the area!

I like Musiikki. Have had nice experiences there. The back patio is a gem. Good place to go if you like live music from local musicians. Will try to work up the confidence to play there some day. Prices are alright. Upstairs has an interesting vibe...lots to look at while you're sipping your drink and listening to the musicians play.

Musiikki provides an excellent range of artists to perform in their small backyard patio area. The biggest drawback to this place is the bar is extremely small. Like barely enough room for two bartenders. This makes the process of getting drinks very long. The one night I went the bartender was moving so slow and just talking to people that he forgot my order and I had to wait another 10 minutes. In the end I had to wait almost 20 minutes for just one average tasting cocktail.

Very cool place. Very small. Focuses on whiskey but has a whole variety of other drinks as well. Prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere is great. Relaxed. The best part is that there is always music there, local bands and others that pass through Kingston. Highly recommended.

Awesome atmosphere! We were greeted immediately by what I think was the only guy working. He was super nice and sat us out on the patio. We weren't sure what drink we wanted and took his recommendation. BEST idea ever! We enjoyed our cocktails and music adventure. I'm a mosquito magnet however, so we did only stay for the one drink, but this was a perfect stop for our first Kingston experience! 10/10

This place is a one-of-a-kind hole in the wall. The vibe, the decor, the live music! The cocktails hit hard and there’s always someone to talk to. Three restaurants are on the same block and only a few blocks from the water

Love the vibe! The patio is really nice for live music and the whiskey cocktails are great.

Intimate atmosphere with great musical artists. Most amazing in the summer when the courtyard is open and you can enjoy music under the stars.

Excellent venue, fantastic service, one of Kingston hidden music scene gems. Highly recommend catching Super Vintendo there especially every second Friday. Or mourning Doves on Mondays. The ktown jazz scene

I recently discovered the charming back patio - nice big tree strung with lights in one corner and picnic tables and coffee tables all around. In the summer they have musicians play on the little stage under the tree. Perfect for dates and groups of friends alike. Excellent cocktails. I highly recommend the Spanish coffee

Fantastic place to take a drink and feel welcome. Really authentic and genuine. I was told the patio outside was also great, i will have to come back during summer !

If you find yourself wondering around downtown Kingston, stop by and take in the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Looking like a small hole in the wall don't misjudge this down to earth cafe; this is definitely the place for a sit down with friends and enjoying a good drink, and let's not forget the beautiful patio space on event nights. You will never regretted stopping by.

Good atmosphere from first glances. Though I tried to book with them 3 times in person and 3 times over the phone though and when I finally pressured them to get the booking agent to get back to me, he said theyre done shows for the year. But they Werent done when I First Asked. None of the bartenders seemed to have a clue how the booking process worked, what days were booked or basically anything helpful. Normally they book online and Only online. Their booking form kept giving me an error, and they were obviously not prepared for it. Food next door at Atomica is really good tho! And I like Musikki's courtyard. But disappointed I could not book a gig there. And a bit irritated.

Went here in august and it was awesome. Excellent drinks and that hidden interior patio is amazing! Had some great live music playing as well! Fake jazz Orchestra crushed it. Never thought I would hear rage against the machine or Sean Paul covers on sax in the same set but I’m so glad I did. Would go back here 100%

It is a very small venue but it has a nice outdoor patio. We listen to live music and enjoyed some creative cocktails.

Great spot that can be easily missed. Beautiful court yard in the back with bar and stage. Feels magical, although I may have had a few drinks.

Cosy bar with very welcoming owner. Went to enjoy some music and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The home mixed grapefruit radler was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Nice hole in the wall vibe and decor - but their tea/alc drinks taste like dishwater and are $10+ for a single cup!

Harvey is the best bartender in all of Kingston. We found this place by accident going through the back entrance courtyard gate. Hidden gem for sure! Live music and campfire can’t beat it!

There was nothing to do in town, as I had stopped by on a Monday. This gem of a spot has a great bar and beautiful stone courtyard in the back where the music is played. Bring good company and tip your bartender/server!!

Searched for a place to have a drink near Confederation Basin. This place popped up. We decided to try it...so glad we did. Great little place, atmosphere feels neat. Drink was perfect. Definitely a place to try. We'll be back.

To Harvey, Jeremy, and all of the staff at Musiikki, THANK YOU for making our special day so easy. The courtyard was absolutely perfect for our little, intimate wedding, and we can't thank the staff enough for being so friendly, easy to work with, and keeping the drinks flowing despite it being a busy Saturday night! We love Musiikki for its atmosphere and the beautiful vibes in the courtyard (the vines and the string lights are so stunning). Thank you all again for making our big day so easy.
