This has been our place of choice for post-dinner late night drives in the Etobicoke area. Great place, amazing coffee, love the interiors and quite a friendly staff. We have tried their coffees, smoothies, cheesecakes, cookies etc and nothing has disappointed so far. Very good flavors. They do keep almond/soy milk which is great for vegans. Having said that, they don't have any vegan desserts or bakery items. I loved their dark roast - definitely makes your day (or evening, at the least). The staff is good and friendly. The service is pretty quick - no unnecessary wait time. There are plenty of seating available - regular chair-table as well as high chairs - some of them road facing. I love the interiors - especially the banner of "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee" is great and a couple of other paintings make the place really lively and bright. Plenty of sunlight on a sunny day lightens up the place. Overall, a great place to hangout and relax with a cup of coffee.

Well I gave it last chance and it blew it. They are always rude there and it takes forever if you will ask for help after order. DIRTY. and that was morning. Food... I still feel sick after that half sandwich. Thank God I opened it. Cashier didn't want to listen to me that it's not fresh even it was all in bubble inside and black and something was like growing there even though they said it was frozen fresh!??? Nobody said sorry, just repeating it was frozen it's not supposed to be bad. I wish I'd take a pic, but I was about to vomit 🤢. Yes I got refund. But... And the sad part it's just one place where you can sit. But it's always dirty everywhere. Don't understand why they working like this? Why they working there if they do not care about place... just very disappointing and sad because this place in our community and it is face of us. I wish them to do some changes about attitude, cleaning place, and food. I hear a lot of people just not going there because of this all... Hope will change this review in a future.

Absolutely love Second Cup! Finally had my caramelo coffee after so long! Not sure why there aren't more locations of this lovely and 100% Canadian coffee shop!! I'm always on the lookout for locations.

I have come here many times, morning coffee are always accurate. Staff is friendly, seems like good place to work. Always the Atmosphere is clam and peaceful. I get my office work done for first few hours. Have enough sitting and charging cables. Backed goods looks fresh. Service is amazing, thou I do find price is at little higher end. I always get coffee with some kind of cookie. The ice drinks looks great. Long chair little uncomfortable for short person. They have out side patio. Parking is limited but one could use plaza next to it if dine in. Patio has enough sitting accommodation.

I was there couple times but employees were using earphone and sitting on countertop. There is no safety standards. Wrap foods are not required expired dates. When l asked to employees which one is fresh, they told me they are keeping all the foods until they sell them. No health standards. I will be sure this location will be investigated.

This area is lacking in cafes so this one is a nice respite. The maple cream coffee was decent! For $3 incl. tax, you can get a regular drip coffee. Cafe was crowded and line was not terribly fast. One of the server has nice hair, so you can stare at his bouncy curls while you wait and wonder what kind of product he uses to obtain such a look. Parking was also challenging as it's a small lot. There was a lot of litter on the ground over the edge of the patio. It could use some tidying up.

This place is fantastic. Great customer service and no mistakes. Great snacks, great drinks. Just asked my amazing gf why we go to Starbucks and she said "I like Second Cup, I thought you liked Starbucks". I said "I thought you did." I guess we will be going more often.

Staff are always friendly, clean environment, never had an order go wrong. And staff sometimes show great restraint on busy days with impatient customers.

I like the space and atmosphere as the neighborhood lacks cafés! But totally disappointed in the staff. After a months of going there regularly every day they reluctantly suggested me their rewards card! Definitely the employer brings out the work passion in its employees… and they even didn’t help me with registration of my card, they just told me I should use the Second Cup app, which I didn’t want to, and added the card to my StoCard app (collection of all my points cards). But since the card wasn’t registered it didn’t collect points even when they scanned it, and when I asked them why it’s happening, they shrugged. As it’s the last thing on earth they have information on. Must train your employees to improve their attitudes, dear Second Cup! I’m so disappointed.

The experience in the coffee shop is not the same anymore, It used to be a great place but not anymore. 8th Sep, Friday evening , One of their interns made a cappuccino which is nothing but a hot brew with overflowing froth, I have never had a worst cappuccino ever. The two people serving there were busy flirting they hardly had time to provide good service. May not go there again.

Food and coffees were great. Service was horrendous. Gentleman manning counter and getting food- had his headphones in and it’s very clear he most definitely did not want to be there. From the eye rolling, frustrated tone of voice. I think if you’re going to have a staff member like this maybe have them in the back not interacting with the customers. As we are spending our hard earned money— we want to have a decent experience not be faced with a student that would rather be anywhere else and shows that to the customers.

My family and I go here regularly and unfortunately, it will be our last time. The customer service from two young males (with AirPods in their ears?) was disappointing. First of all why are you wearing AirPods at work? Second of all I asked twice for whip cream only to be told they ran out. Yup, our experience was a disaster. My advice for the owner hire older kids who actually want to work.

I always come to this Second Cup location because it is truly the best. If anybody goes, I hope you encounter the barista named Kaitlynn she is so kind and she’s amazing !!

If you’re ordering at the location, it’s usually decent, the drinks/ food are made correct (except the odd drink that tastes burnt.) The staff are okay, usually not super friendly or unfriendly, just kinda there. Certain employees are very nice though. If I was rating solely based on my in-person experiences, I would rate it 4 stars. Now Uber is another story entirely. First, they’re almost never available on Uber. Second, they mess up more orders than they get correct. It’s especially frustrating when I put specific directions due to allergies and they completely ignore them… so my order goes in the garbage and it’s up to uber whether they feel like refunding me or not. It’s a waste of food, a waste of time, and a waste of money. I would say skip ordering online, either go in person or order somewhere else. If rating based on Uber order alone, they’d get 2 stars. Hence why I split the difference and gave them 3.

I drank coffee and ate muffins here today. muffin was quite stale. I told the staff that their products were stale. They told me quite rudely that it wasn't stale. There were 2 people and neither of them helped. I didn't want to return it. However, they said they cannot return it. If you want to return it, they said we can't and talked to me while rolling their eyes. The atmosphere is very nice. It is a place I come to many times with my friends. Their cakes are stale and they never accept it.

Nice place, kept clean and generally has ample seating and good desserts for a causal atmosphere.

Not really a good experience as the employee mentioned that oven is off so bagel and sandwiches cannot be warmed up. Display has everything but it makes no sense if customer cannot enjoy the warm meal. Coffee was good though!

Paid $6.87 for a regular (Large) size smoothie, and asked for less ice and I received this....I was told she will put in a small cup and I received even 75% of the small cup. Working in the same plaza and a regular patron but never again....

Got the green mango smoothie and it was very good. Inside had nice vibes and we were served quickly.

What has happened to this location ? At 8am , all chairs are stacked on top of the tables , there’s no music and the barista is very unwelcoming. May as well put the CLOSED sign up. 2 stars for the coffee , which I took to go

I have been visiting this cafe since over two months, but today was totally different. I was served by Maria, who was so kind, and offered me Second Cup points card, which I have never heard of before, and no employee ever told me about. Maria was amazing, and she went beyond her scope and took the initiative even to bring me my cup of London Fog. Maria for me is the best one I have met and she dersves all the best!

Their are wasp in the shop, was hard to drink your coffee at peace. Chair were still not arranged around 118sh in the morning.

Coffee is coffee and the service is friendly. But the patio chairs are locked up. Not sure if they do it after a said hour. Summer isn't over yet but makes seating out side uncomfortable.

Nice pastries and drinks are okay, but I personally think I'd rather go to Starbucks and get a better drink.

This Second Cup has great location. A lot of space inside and nice patio for warmer days. The staff was very friendly and polite.

Ordered an iced mocha frappe and the guy gave me straight coffee with little chunks of ice in it. For almost $6 for a small I’m really disappointed with the quality of drinks being served. Sucks because the second cup at Sherway is much better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff spent majority of their time sitting by the window, not paying attention to customers. I had to stand and wait while the two ladies gossiped and played on a computer. One of them was pleasant enough and apologized for the wait so there's the 1 and only redeeming quality. Pinkberry selection is horrendous. Plain vanilla yogurt with sprinkles and cookies N cream crumbles. That's it. One size. No cones. Second cup staff has not knowledge of their pink Berry counter. 0/10 would NOT recommend.

Fairly friendly staff. Due to covid u must ask for sugars, stir sticks, straws etc.. although I think they should ask if u need these things they don't and then you get stuck waiting to ask for additional items as the area you wait for your drinks is away from cashier. Fairly fast service, lots of food, very rich desserts. Clean and accessible washroom. I actually like their bean selection more versus Starbucks. The lattes here are stronger hands down. Coffee in general is stronger. Try and compare 😉

Ordered a regular iced chai tea latte and got this abomination. Pink (???), with chunks and bits in it. Chai tea latte uses a syrup not a powder... even if it wasn’t syrup based, the drink is so poorly mixed, all the gunk is stuck on the bottom. Very suspect food safety procedures

I like Second Cup coffee much better than the bitter Starbucks, good service at this location, frequented by School kids. This location has a bad bad problem with wasps, and could use 2-3 wasp traps. Owner must be aware,..but nothing done yet.

Second cup has rebranded everyone! Such great vibes..social setting..menu items are intriuiging and well considered. Capaccuino made with oat milk was too Good!! Service was on point..team is friendly and efficient!
