From Arnts we got the patio slabs they have a wonderful variety of stones and the service is excellent not to mention the punctuality of the delivery

A huge thanks to everyone at Arnt’s that showed patience, as I navigated the process of picking and ordering stone/concrete pavers. Colin was a superstar and put up with my multiple visits to the stone yard. He provided great service and helpful advice that made the whole experience much less stressful. The folks in the office also dealt with multiple changes to my order, over a few days and did it all without skipping a beat - while maintaining a super pleasant attitude. Finally, the delivery people were both great. The person delivering the gravel, communicated well, so we were able to get the gravel precisely placed, and he was really friendly. Thanks, Arnt’s!

We are HUGELY disappointed in this company!! We purchased thousands of dollars worth of interlock and paid for delivery to which they contract out other companies to deliver. We were never told that. The driver that came from Valley Bro Trucking Inc. did not listen to direction and in doing so caved in our prepped driveway for interlock. We have contacted Arnts over and over and they are giving us a massive run around. Today Brian at Arnts rudely told us it is not his problem!!! Now we have a damaged driveway that is holding up our contractor as he can not finish it this way. More stone will be needed as this is going to have to be recut due to the crushed ashphalt. I can not believe a big company like this is so unprofessional after customers trust them and spend thousands of dollars in their store and paid for delivery of all that stone!!! Go elsewhere because they really do not care if something goes wrong. NOBODY there helps or cares.

Worse customer service. Even their employee makes mistake when they take your order, you still have to go back to line to fix your order. It will take another 2 to 3 hours. Keeping all the student workers for basic salary they don't really care about the customer service. Will never go again. Also they will charge you for a skid ($20) without asking you. Even though you order 10 stones ,which can be fitted easily in your vehicle. You ask them about it, they will give you stupid explanation.

Have a list of things, line up. When you go in to order, only to be told that many of the items on display are not in stock/ back order. Go out, pick something else, line up again, get in, same story- not in stock. After going out the third time, the yard associate tells me what was told to be not in stock was actually in stock. Come back to massive line up, the associate who let's you inside wants you to enjoy the line again. What an absolute disregard for the customers time. A simple note on the items on display would have saved me an hour and half of my time.

My husband have been building pools and landscape over 25 years and Arnts would be the place where he gets all his supplies. Visit their showroom to see what they have available. You won't be disappointed. Their young sale clerks are super friendly and helpful. Sales rep told me a 4pm delivery time Friday was no problem, was called at 12 to say they were loading up to come and if it wasn’t when they wanted, it would be Monday. Called for a PARTIAL refund of the delivery fee as what I requested and was told would be the time didn’t happen and got nothing but attitude from Emily and she made it clear that she didn’t care about a customer. NEVER AGAIN will I buy anything from these people. Very disappointed

I emailed for quote. Got quote. Priced well. I modified order during call in. No issue. They told me it would be there the next day. The next day it showed up. Its that simple if you know what you want.

Wow... For years... Every spring I get frustrated with Arnts not having a contractor desk. I usually have to wait an hour in line while people ask the dumbest questions and all I need is a bag of poly. This all changed this week when I met Brittany She was kind, so helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not to mention she had me back on site quicker than anyone in the last 4 years. I couldn't have given my client the fire feature of their dreams without Arnts and without Brittany. She was so knowledgeable and made absolutely everything easier. From picking the perfect natural coping stone, to walking me through the amazing Linzel product lines and sizes. Thank you for loving your job as much as I do mine. It shows!

The worst Customer service. They delivered 22 yards of soil, and dumped it unto my front steps and porch. Not sure why, when they had the entire yard to put it . Every person you speak to you get a different price. Even with the quote saved you can rest assure the price will be different. They sent me the wrong order of stones, and want me to deliver it to them and also pay them to take it back. (they call it dispose of it). Ask for a manager several time, and was told none is available. It's over a week to date no one has called me back. STAY AWAY They will Bleed You Dry.

Alex, Jordan, Collin and Joey were amazing. Approachable, reliable, knowledgeable and fast . Got everything I needed for my front yard landscaping project on my first visit. Thanks again for the great customer service

Runs really smooth in the yard. ( except vehicles with trailers picking up larger orders) Little advice though, do your homework. Get the brochures know you're measurements.. They are not your personal shopper. They have 7 to 10 customer service reps. All this you should be out within 30 to 45 min. Except the two separate guys ahead of me.one 20 min, the other almost half hour. JUST SAYING

They sell Rymar turf here, it's so good. The staff knows how to make your order easy too.

Arnt's is a great place for landscaping supplies!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. A gentleman who worked there was willing to walk back to the farthest point in their yard, just to see if the rockery they had back there was the type I was looking for. Sadly it was not, however he also took the time to ask a few questions in an effort to help identify the rockery I am looking for, so that I have the necessary information when I return. Good people doing good business!!!

Out of the dozens of landscape supply yards I have visited over the years, Arnts is hands down the most pleasurable experience you will have as a contractor. The site is extremely organized and efficient. Purchases and returns are painless with lots of room for maneuvering and parking etc. Staff is friendly with great communication between departments. Service today was absolutely incredible. I went there with questions and uncertainty as to what I needed and a young lady was absolutely wonderful in helping me choose what I needed to fix some damage don't work at my house. It was a very pleasant experience. I'd like to shout out to her but it didn't actually get her name but she worked in the outdoor area helping customers choose stonework.

This company is like the government, at least they have the same hours. Any working person can not use this company. Close at 5 on week days and closed weekends. I went there on the weekend to select bricks and patterns closed. Most people are off the weekend and try to get things done then since they are closed weekend that’s not happening. By the time I get home from my work day downtown Toronto it’s passed 5pm that’s for sure. Guess what they are closed. Must be nice to have such sweet hours. Not conducive for your clients but who cares about them.

Great first experience ruined by attiude yard employee!!! We had never heard of Arnts and was amazed by the size of the place and the display of bricks. The girl that helped us outside was friendly and answered our questions. Also the girl at the checkout was nice and the guy at the first gate telling us where we go. Unfortunately the second gate to pick up our bricks put a bad taste in our mouth. A bunch of guys were standing around & we get the one with the biggest attitude!!! Not one hello, just takes our paper and walks 1mph in-front of us well we creep behind him to get the bricks. (The whole situation dealing with him was a joke) If he doesn't want the job just quit & move on. I unfortunatley don't have a name from his orange vest but wears a black baseball cap backyards & works the second gate. we don't leave google reviews but this person really ruined our experience here.

This place is a rip off! I got the shock of my life when I returned extra patio stones to them. I had one row of stones to return 76 of them and when I called their customer care the guy clearly mentioned I will be getting a refund on $180 back into my card. When I gave home my address he said it went down to $150. I again asked if that’s the amount I would get back. He again confirmed yes and that I have to give a call back once the item is picked up so that they can refund back to card after checking the item. Today when I called them another agent said that the previous agent miscommunicated and that i actually have to PAY $180+restocking fee and that there are only 67 stones. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD GIVE AWAY THEIR ITEM FOR FREE AND ON TOP OF THAT PAY FOR IT!!!!! Why should I be penalized for your miscommunication? Also there were 4 rows of 19stones and they keep saying it’s just 67 in total I am waiting for the manager to call me. My invoice is 1116129. I will update my review based on how Arnst solves my problem. Update: So I got a call from another executive- Rachel who acknowledged there were 76 pieces and that there was a miscommunication. They have now refunded me for the stones that they picked up. Except for this inconvenience I didn’t have any other trouble so I have decided to bump my rating to 4. Thanks guys for the resolution!

Will never shop here again. Sales associates are not helpful and don’t have knowledge of products as they all appear to be summer students. As others have mentioned they lie about their return policy and then tell you there is a restocking fee to return. Will be opening a dispute with visa to challenge this DISHONEST company. They likely don’t care as every contractor in Durham uses them.

I came here to buy some stone for doing 200sqf driveway. The customer service associate was sending me over and over to find the stone. When I send to the yard. I saw someone is sitting under the gazebo. I approached him. Ask him for help he was kind of rude. Told me go there you will see. I even told the CSR I don’t have idea about the stone. He was keep telling me you need to find it. I am sharing my experience. The place is for contactor not for public.

Sells faulty equipment and doesn’t stand behind their products. Also found the same blade (same brand) for $80 less at a different supplier who DOES stand behind their products. Will never do business here again. You lost a loyal costumer and I will make sure my coworkers and fellow contractors go elsewhere.

Good place lot's of options to choose from. Yard staff was helpful . Inside staff was friendly the delivery was on time and dropped the product were I asked him to in the driveway. Over all a good experience. Would deal with Arnts in the future.

I rented a 14 cubic foot bin from Arnts for landscaping. The driver noticed a defect on the bin door and took it back. The dispatcher called me within 10 minutes stating that they do not have another 14 cubic foot bin and instead offered me the 10 cubic bin. However, within an hour they delivered me a 14 cubic foot bin. When we loaded this bin and wanted to close the door, it fell from the bottom latch and badly injured my son’s foot. This bin was probably defective as was the first bin. Arnts investigated the incident and blamed on us. Please don’t rent their bins as they are not in good condition and their driver do not clearly provide the instructions on how to operate the bin.

I had a nice lawn to begin with but I decided to order a cubic yard of top dressing for the front lawn back in April. After I spread it out I applied one and a half large bags of Scotts grass seed that I purchased from Costco. I watered as required but nothing has grown and I continue to water regularly. It is now September and still nothing has grown in the patches. The adjacent grass has not spread into these patches and not even weeds have grown. I contacted Arnts and of course they are blaming it on the grass seed. It's not the grass seed. Unfortunately the top dressing looks void of organic life and my lawn has been a disaster ever since with empty patches everywhere :(
