I really LOVE this place; totally different, with personality and ethics. This is not only a great restaurant with excellent fresh food, amazing value for the money we spent ...it transmits HOME, it is COSY, lovely atmosphere with a RELAXING AND ROMANTIC music playing in the back ground. Very family-like staff. The owner, RENATO, welcome you for the first time as if you were an old long known friend. Again when we chose this place it was through our instict...the great good vibes embraced us and took us to the table. We like it so much that we book a table for tomorrow evening as it is going to be packed!! If you are near here YOU MUST TRY THIS ENCHANTED PLACE OUT!!💯💯❤❤❤

This quickly became our favourite spot in Olhâo. Amazing Tapas! Good portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner takes great pride in his establishment. If you are a bit early don’t miss heading done to Wine Time for an appetizer and drink before they open. It is under the same ownership.

We were spending the last evening of our guests in Olhao. Everything, which can go wrong went wrong! We were 4 people in Tapas e Lendas and were the first customers in terace! The first surprise was when the waiter told us what they don't have, quite a long list, not even fish soup. So we ordered 6 tapas plates since we thought tapas is something very tasty and quick! Prices were quite high, we thought we can share tapas plates Wrong assumption! The first plate olives came in 15 minutes, next came tataki, 10 minutes after olives, there was no taste, no salt and very dry. It was very small and expensive. Then came the plate, which we hadn't ordered, ham. The third and forth plates ( mussels ) came in 40 minutes. Two mussels out of seven were empty! We complained about that and it was promised to be credited! The fifth plate came in 45 minutes, atum bruchetta, not good because it was wet and lousy. And the sixth tapas, crisp chicken came in 55 minutes after several reminders! It was dry, without taste or sauce We didnt stay there longer. The bill came with no discount on empty mussel shells! So we went to Aldi for making barbaque at home. In brief: the restaurant's performance was a total disaster! This restaurant logan could be "one eats and three are watching" Our guests were terified after this restaurant visit. Update and addition because the restaurant's response is strange. We were in this restaurant about 2 years ago and everything was fine. A lovely singing waiter also. We visited again at the beginning of this summer and then they also brought the menu and told us what was not available. We thought we had bad luck. But the same thing continued now and there wasn't even a main course on available, which is why our guests wanted to come to your restaurant. "One lady coming after one week" is completely irrelevant! We were 4 people and got lousy service and over priced low quality food. If you dont't take seriously your clients' feed-back you will never improve!

Lovely little tapas bar. Good food, wine, beer. Portuguese and foreign tourists. Helpful staff to advise you what to order and if you are ordering too much. Lovely evening. Reasonable cost. Less than 50 euros for dinner and drinks for two

A tour de force of Portuguese tapas. Extensive menu at incredibly reasonable prices with super friendly service plus we managed to get a very romantic table. The food is to die for - in particular the 3 cheese steak and grilled octopus. Don’t give the sangria a miss - the red and white are excellent. Must try the rose next time. I’ll be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awful experience and service. We were seated upstairs and the restaurant was busy, a drinks order was taken after 5 mins, it arrived about 10 minutes later. We ordered 6 items of the Tapas menu the cheese plater arrived after 30 mins, nice food, after another 20 minutes we received 2 more plates both meat, again no issue with the food, the problem arose whist waiting for the next 3 plates, another 35 minutes had passed, on speaking to the staff we were told it was almost ready, at this point we settled the bill and left. Two other tables sat after us, and had been served and finished before us. What little food we had was fine, but the service was very poor.

This wasn’t just dinner - which was fresh and delicious with excellent house wine, mussels, and more … but also an experience - finished the evening with all guests invited downstairs for mixing up a late night flaming cocktail which we all then enjoyed compliments of the house.

Great little place full of atmosphere and good food. The wait can be extremely long when the restaurant is full. We didn't have dessert because no matter how many times we asked we were never served. Great friendly staff. Unfortunately, there was a small cockroach on our table too when we first arrived and our table was inside. Just the one but hopefully it's because it is close to the street and not an infestation.

Even there was no place outside for us, a very friendly waiter (or owner?) made one for us. Thank you so much! Food was delicious and everything was fresh. 🦪🌶 It comes out we are not huge fans of white sangria but this experience was amazing anyways. Interiors are 🔥🔥, I mean it. Music is loud – yes, but this place is a vibe. From practical infos, you can pay by cash or Portuguese card, no Revolut accepted. ATM is close.

This place is a gem with incredible food and great prices. We sat upstairs and could see the sea. I super recommend Bruschetta de Mojama, Flambé Prawns, and the oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had. If ever we are back in Olhão we’ll be back for sure!

Amazing little place that is perpetually booked. Delicious food, friendly staff, and pretty good value for money. Highly recommend it.

The food was reasonably good, but the service was slow. Our waiter took our drink order after 15 minutes and said he would be back to take the food order, but forgot and we waited 30 minutes to order even after another table that was seated after us got their food. The salad was good, though it wasn't the salad we had ordered, and the whole grilled shrimp were also good. The breaded calamari was ok, but didn't have the central cartilage removed.

Really terrific tapas restaurant tucked away from the busy main seafront. Superb mix of dishes, all quite small but beautifully prepared. Especially tasty was the rice with clams dish, which takes an hour from ordering as cooked fresh. They even have delicious zero beers for the designated drivers! Highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. Food was incredible with strong and unique flavors. The Seafood Cataplana is to die for, the whole family enjoyed it so much we couldn't stop eating. As well as the Tataki which was licked clean and the Shrimp Flambe which was bursting with flavor. The service was amazing as well, everyone being so kind and helpful. Nice and tucked in with nice music and ambiance. They also have a separate wine bar down the street where we definitely recommend getting wine from there, being a bigger wine menu. Highly recommended to make a reservation in advance. Would definitely recommend this fantastic restaurant!

Tapas e lendas is such an amazing experience. The food is top notch with something for everyone!! Their service is great with attention and care given to ensure you have everything you need. My daughters love the provincial batatas, I enjoy all the seafood, we have never gotten a dish we didn’t enjoy. For added bonus you can experience them mixing their special brew (we saw this in a Saturday but I’ve heard they do it on Friday as well). During this presentation there is a recording telling a story of a curse and an amazing show with really cool effects!! This place is a must visit if you come to Olhão!!!
