I had a good initial experience with Dr. Kim. He even called me back personally after my appointment for further recommendations after he thought about my case. However, my experience in trying to get results after a procedure has been abysmal. I've waited nearly a week, left two messages, was disconnected multiple times, and was finally told condescendingly by the receptionist that we're in a crisis and they're busy. Yes, I know about coronavirus, but when you say I'll hear back on Thursday and I respectfully ask for my results the next Wednesday, on a very serious health matter, there's a better way to handle it.

How are you supposed to make any apts/reschedule if you always put phones to "unforseen event" and never answer your phone or hang up when you do get one. We leave messages with no call back. This office is a complete joke.

Neurologist: you have a cyst on your pineal gland. Those can grow so we would like to get you a MRI every three months or so. Last appointment, December. Front desk: we don't have any appointments open until June. So yesterday I got two calls while at work from an unknown number which I couldn't answer. I did let the clinic know previously that text is the best way to get ahold of me. Drove 45 minutes to my appointment this morning (they said check in time 7:30 am, didn't open their doors until 7:45), only to find out my Dr was out and my appointment was being pushed back until August. In that time frame according to the Neurologist I should have had 2 to 3 MRI's to make sure the cyst isn't growing and blocking cerebral spinal fluid from draining. Very disappointing level of care. Asking for a new referral to a clinic that hopefully cares a little more. Too bad it took half a year to find out this place was a waste of time.

I had also waited almost 7 months for my appointment with Dr Li,sounds like I was lucky I didn't have to meet him,the morning of my appointment we got up before dawn, drove over an hour in the traffic and pouring rain only to be called a little before my appointment to say that they had overbooked and I would have to wait another 10 days,I also had to deal with the rude girl who only answers the phone, that's all she knows how to do probably! I will find another neurologist who will actually care about his patients, and check his employee's to make sure they are showing respect to people!!!

Rude to wife who's had referral for almost for months won't get her in for another two. They were rude, condescending and completely uncaring at reception. She was in hospital over a month from botched colonoscopy and developed severe sepsis causing neuropathy, was told they don't do pain. Clearly addressing the underlying concern will help with current pain, they're unavailable or unwilling to practice even basic customer services. Is suggest driving as far as you need to

They lied to me, they said they will put in a request for mri and waiting for my insurance to approve it and it can take up to a month, wrote me off to take meds that arent making me feel ok just so they bite time or something, after speaking with my insurance i was told nothing was on file and the approval takes about instant to 2 days max for the mri. I feel lied too and that their system is corrupt and they don't really give a damn about their patients. I now see why they have one star im adding mine too.

This is THE most unprofessional medical office I've ever experienced. The front desk is a joke! How this group of salty, rude women stay employed is a mind bender. The fact that the doctors aren't embarrassed to have their patients treated with more respect tells you everything about this place. πŸ‘Ž

Doctors are amazing. The front desk lady is an absolute nightmare. Everytime we have come in she is very rude. She taps her fake nails on the desk like we should know all the rules and regulations right now with covid. I’m sorry but they change weekly and I can’t keep up. She simply has was to much negative attitude to be working the front desk, not personable at all.

So far I have not been able to see a doctor because the front office staff is spectacularly unhelpful and borderline rude. My PCP has sent referrals, and they say they have not received them. Other neurologists in town received the referrals. No solutions or explanations offered. Just "try the thing that didn't work again."

The 5 Stars are for the neurologist, who I understand has been with Providence Neurology for less than a month. Her name is Dr. Nara and she was very professional and receptive, and encouraging in dealing with my 86-year-old mother's very complex and perplexing onset of neurological problems. I was actually VERY encouraged by the fact that she was able to look at us and say she wasn't certain about what was causing all the trouble, but that she'd do her best to find out. I much prefer that to someone who pulls out a stethoscope, listens to some heart and breathing sounds and pretends to know everything they need to know. Dr. Nara is going to make some waves in this profession. Nurses and aides were great. But as for the front office folks, it seems they really need to rethink some things because it wasn't a particularly pleasant experience. In reading many of the comments and low ratings, it seems this is a problem they haven't been able to fix, or perhaps haven't addressed. They really need to do that...and to make every effort to retain talent like Dr. Nara. I'm very happy we met with her today (Feb 14, 2023).
