The wait to get a table was about 5 minutes. The menus are on the wall when you come in so either take pictures when you come in or use the qr code and download load it on your phone. I had a question about the pizza on the appetizer menu and the waitress wanted to see my phone to see the menu. I showed it to her and she took it out of my hand and said, "it's ok I've been vaccinated." I don't care I just don't want someone snatching my phone because they want to make a point. We ordered and a different server brought our food. She forgot my son's root beer. Different servers brought the rest of the order to the table. We never got refills until the original waitress came to bring our check when we asked for it. The food was good but the service was terrible. It was my first visit and I was really excited to go and I was really disappointed. I have mixed feelings about returning.

Clam chowder was delicious. The cup of soup and half sandwich was more food then expected. So delicious. Cheeseburger and fries were cooked well and as we'd expect it to be. The service was timely and friendly.

The food was a 3. The decor was a 4. Nothing sets the fish and chips apart from anywhere else. It's average but with cool views. Maybe I'll come back and try a burger. The service was good.

I wish I had taken pictures of my cocktail and my meal. I was trying to be in the movement with my friend and didn't think of photos till dessert. I don't go out to dinner due to allergies in the family. So when I do, I'm intentional with my choices. Knowing there was a great view of the water tonight, and my friend had never eaten there made this a great choice. Service was exceptional and everything was delicious. The parking lot can be very busy due to it also being a marina as well, and the main entrance is stairs however there is an elevator for ADA access. I would highly recommend for a great date night or an evening out with friends. Kid friendly as well, no dress code needed. If you get a chance while we keep having beautiful weather, I encourage you to pay a visit. Patio seating highly recommended.

Very loud. Comfortable seating. Great food, good portion sizes. One of my favorite places in town. Crab cakes, Berry salad with shrimp skewers and the tugboat burger.

Cozy and Comfy. That’s the feeling you get after you are seated with a view of the boats gently bobbing in the water. The establishment is inviting and clean. The food was served hot and tasty. We had fish and chips (cod) and fried oysters. The food was good, but a little on the over done side. I usually never like tarter sauce. I will say that I like theirs. I typically only have the cocktail sauce. That was off today. If you are a connoisseur of french fries, you will love this place. A nice place to take your girl or treat your parents on a quiet weekday for lunch. Warning. There are a lot of steps to get upstairs to the restaurant. Call ahead and see if there is an elevator if needed.

We absolutely love this tucked away unique restaurant on bay. The food is always spectacular and the never cease to fail you on flavor. I swing by any time I am in the Capitol city. They offer indoor and outdoor seating plus offer kayak rentals. It also looked like a very nice bar. Our waitress was a bit slower than any of the others that we have had but she was efficient.

There are beautiful views of the water from everywhere in the restaurant including the bar. I got crabcakes and sides. The house made hot sauce is absolutely delicious. All of the staff were friendly. Place is clean. The hockey game was on and not too loud. Decent portion sizes and great selection for high quality bar food and seafood.

Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Friendly staff, and extremely quick service- our food was ready only minutes after ordering. I love the ocean view. The hamburger was perfect. We also ordered the crab and artichoke dip, pulled pork sandwich and a side Cesar.

1/28/2024: Great spot off the marina. Arrived around 3p for lunch and was quickly seated. Service was friendly and prompt. Good clam chowder. Crab and artichoke dip was larger than I expected. Salmon Burger was satisfying and was happy the salmon was cooked medium instead of well.

Fantastic place for the family or for a drink. Well-priced menu, EXCEPTIONAL service staff, and very good food. Prices are a bit higher than I am used to but it's 2023 and it seems as though they still have below average prices. Additionally they offer kayak rentals for $20 for 2hrs, which is the same price they had in 2016!

This is our local go-to restaurant when friends and family visit. Has a bit of everything and one of the best atmospheres and locations in the south sound. Great views of Olympic and the harbor. The Blue Burger in my opinion is the best burger in Olympia, right up there with Uptown!

Love this place. Had a very excellent gluten free club sammich with an insane amount of sweet potato tots and a great view of the water. This place feels somewhere between sailor bar, dive and family restaurant (but I don't see any kids so that's rad). Curious about the history.

First time here and the food and drinks were delicious and the view was so pretty 😍 they were pretty busy but we only had to wait about 5 mins to get seated and although the place was packed, service was wonderful and pretty speedy!

Came for mother's day brunch. Called to make reservations a couple days ahead. I hadn't been here, but it was one of the few places with availability within a few days. I didn't know what to expect, but reviews were reassuring. We were seated promptly and went to the buffet. Standard brunch fare with some awesome scones and fresh biscuits. They couldn't bring them out fast enough! OK coffee. Friendly staff.

A clean and friendly environment place is pretty popular, We didn't have to wait long for seating, staff are always nice, friendly. Great location on the Marina so you can always see the bay. Outdoor seating is pleasant also. Plenty of items to choose from on the menu. My favorite is the pulled pork nachos. Nice selection of beer and their cocktails are always good on a hot day!

Great place! We had a table outside which was nice because we had a great view. I gave only 4 starts because the salmon was overcooked and dry and the fish part of the fish n chips was hard and dry. The service was great and it looks like a fun place for friends to gather.

Did I freaking love tug boat Annie's. I hadn't been there in a super long time, and it kinda fell off my radar because I don't live in Olympia anymore. But today I was starving and needed that fix. Fish and chips are always the hit here and their chowder is amazing. I could live of just the chowder alone. Kinda seemed empty tonight, a little quiet, but over all pleasent staff, good food, and great atmosphere. I did take one star off because they are a little pricey. Not outrageous, but expect to spend at least 50 bucks for two people

This is a wonderful, divey spot with lots of character. The blackened salmon was delicious and a generous portion. Friendly service. Loved the view of the boats, the water and the capitol!

Tugboat Annie's is a great place to get a PMW vibe along with some food. The view is great at this place, off the beaten path, and a gathering for locals. The food is ok, depending on what you get. The fish and chips are not what you would expect at a place in the Puget Sound. The appetizers are and the Barge is huge! If you want a local place to catch a good view and eat, this is it.

Great place to bring kids or for a low key night out with friends. Our son said best Mac and cheese ever. It's very garlicky. Chowder was good. Booths were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking was plenty even on a Friday.

I found out about this place recently on a trip south to Olympia and absolutely adored it so much that I’ve been back and drive just for a drive for the day, just to eat here. I live almost 2hrs away but when the mood hits and it’s a nice sunny day out, I’ll definitely go here for a lunch. I usually just call in my order and we sit and eat in our vehicle. The people who answer the phone are always a joy to talk with and order from and so far our order is always correct and definitely scrumptious. My only thing I don’t like is leaving, a ways down to get back towards the main road and turning left outta there can be a bit risky. Parking can be a bit tight if the parking lot is full. We have a big full sized truck. I definitely highly recommend this hidden place and I think the food is great. A nice place to take a drive to on a day of nothing much else going on. Place to visit again soon!

Reccomend this place right off the bay in olympia. Server was friendly and checked in on us periodically. I ordered the seafood platter (good portion size) with melted butter & garlic which was just enough to make it pop. I had WLS a yr ago so def took this home for lunch next day. Super happy they have sweet potato tots because mot everyone can eat fries. Wish there were other options on the menu like just ordering the seafood by itself but other than that try this place!

We came to have a nice late lunch. We sat inside, they brought our silverware (one fork was dirty). We sat there for 15 minutes and no one came. No on ask for our drink order or food. We got up and left. We are now enjoying a late lunch early dinner somewhere else. Will we be back? I don't think so and by the way, we where not that busy.

The flat iron steak is to die for! And the banana Annie for dessert? Takes 2 to eat it all! I also love their sweet potato tots! Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Outdoor seating for those nicer summer days.

Another little gem we found. Tugboat Annie's is quite the place. We love the atmosphere and the viéws are fantastic if you get a window seat. The service was exceptional. They have an elevator for the handicap. Use bathrooms upstairs in the restaurant. The food was excellent and very pleasing to see. Kudo's to the Chef's. You will not be disappointed.

Love the service, we got seated within a few minutes after arrival. The food was great, we got a good portion for the money. The view at sunset was a plus. We would definitely come back in the near future.

This was our first time here, we were celebrating my moms birthday. Such an eclectic and fun atmosphere! It just so happened that they had a band playing (old folk music), which made the evening even more special. The food was great, lots to choose from their menu, everything we ate got a thumbs up. We'll definitely be back!

Good service and decent food overall. Ordered the chicken sandwich, which had a nice char and was flavorful. Fries were great. Clam chowder and caesar salad were mediocre compared to the options in the area. The salmon was well cooked and not dry at all, but would've been better if it came with more veggies on the side (see photo).

This is my first food review ever, because I am fairly easy going person. First of all, the place and the service were good. I arrived 2/1/2024 a few minutes pasted noon time and only waited few minutes to be seated. I ordered Halibut Fish and Chips for $23. The price was okay, but the quality of food was terrible. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive, and that was the issue. The place opened at 11am, and it wasn’t busy when we arrived. I expected it would take a little long for the food to be prepared. On the plate was 3 pieces of fish, fries and a few pieces of green at the bottom. The fish and fries seemed to be prepared for some time, but I only ordered like 15 minutes ago. The fish was barely warm. The fries were definitely old compared most fast food places. I wonder if my food was left over from the night before and reheated, since the place only opened for an hour and it was not busy when I arrived. I will not recommend this place. I had better fish and chip at other places, like at Lake Union.
