This often overlooked restaurant has been one of my family's favorite gathering spots for many years now. The food is good, the drinks are good, and the waitstaff are excellent. In fact, the employees are what put this Mexican restaurant above all others for me. I never have to wait for a table, my food is always on time, and I never feel like I'm being either ignored or harassed by the waitstaff (which is a big deal to me). It may not be the fanciest restaurant in town, but there's nowhere else I'd rather take my loved ones to share an order of nachos, sip some margaritas, and shoot the breeze. Plus, they have an awesome salsa bar!

This was our first time at Peppers. We stopped here for lunch. The restaurant was nice and clean. We ordered a chimichanga and fajitas. The portions were large. The food was great.

Good food, lots of choices. Huevos rancheros cooked perfectly but only four stars as the eggs were quite salty. Serving sizes are very large. Loved the salsa served with the chips. Street parking only, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. Server was very friendly and accommodating to our large lunch crowd. The restaurant itself is very large, but that did make it a bit drafty and we all kept our coats on while there.

Portion sizes were more than generous and worth the price. Quick food service too.

I grew up in Arizona and lived in San Diego for almost 20 years so I know Mexican food. This place is legit and delicious. The salsa bar was great. My daughter loved the creamy tomatillo salsa and I thought the others were all wonderful too. Service was very courteous and the right pace a Mexican restaurant, if you know what I mean.

My husband and I hadn’t ever had their food before we placed an order online for delivery last night. Their website is very easy to use, the delivery person was very nice and pleasant, and the food was hot. Big servings and very delicious! My husband doesn’t like certain veggies and they were great at paying attention to our note when we placed the order. It is our new favorite. We loved it!

I love the setting of old Mexico 🇲🇽. The food is just like home. I love the selection and the smells. The waitress is very courteous and funny. Food was prepared quick, hot and very tasty. Highly recommended.
