We stayed for 3 nights in early May. The manager, Jessica, was very welcoming and helpful. Kalvin was our breakfast host and he just got the day off to a great start. Sandy behind the counter served up a great meal with a warm smile. The room was clean and all staff we encountered made it a very pleasant stay. There is a park within walking distance just up the road; don't miss it if you have the time. It's beautiful and very peaceful.

So far so good, front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately hotel sits right on top of the highway but I recognize that could be a benefit as well. Overall this place has everything you need.

We stay here every month to give our kids the chance to swim and have a fun night in a hotel. The past 3 months the pool has been unbelievably cold. I called before making our reservation this month and was assured the issue had been remedied. It hadn't. In addition, the water was cloudy and gross looking and the light in the deep end (the one under the water) was not secured and had wires dangling from it. We decided to forgo the pool and just use the hot tub. Somehow, it was even worse. The water was cloudy and smelled like what comes out of the drain of a front load washing machine. Our entire reason flr staying was basically a bust. I informed the front desk and they told me that the pool had been busy that day, but that shouldn't cause a properly maintained pool to be cloudy and smelled bad. There is also mold in the caulk in the shower and it seems like there is always one elevator out of service. The staff is generally really nice, and if you don't need or care about the pool and hot tub, it's a decent place to stay. We won't be spending our monthly stays here any longer though.

Rooms were very nice and the location is great. I was here for a group business meeting, and the meeting services were seriously lacking. I would stay here again just for a place to sleep, but I would not do a group booking or meeting here again. Despite some good staff, staff on the whole were unprofessional, immature, or rude. Meeting equipment was very cheap. Table and meeting room set up was sloppy. No one checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Our catered breakfast had mold in the fruit. Just an awful meeting experience despite the nice rooms and good location.

The first trip since covid. We did frequent hotels monthly prior. We are very familiar with Hilton and are members. Hilton hotels represent some of our favorite hotels to stay in. This one was lacking and our least favorite. The bathroom has a slider barn style door. There is a gap around all sides as great as 1". There is no fan, so anyone having to take a #2 will populate the room with odor. Can confirm! The wing back chair was ripped and we reported it. There was hair on the wing chair and the pillows. No zip covers on the pillows, as a result they were dingy. The pillows go flat and are extremely uncomfortable to sleep on unless you use all of them at once and stack them. The beds were okay and good for one or two nights rest. The temperature in the room we finicky. We were either hot, or cold. Never really comfortable. There was no extra linen in our room. We tried to get one until 3 am and were unable too. We were told the hotel was full and that was the reason why? My wife and I ended up going to bed around 3 am and slept with only a sheet. We told the staff that this was our dilemma, but they were unable to accommodate. We had 3 beds, but only enough blankets for 2. The fridge had no freezer. The microwave was a very small version and couldn't hold a large plate. Mostly drinks, or small items could be heated in it. Think lunch able size. No towels at the pool area either day we were there. The lady that was in the pool area before us said she called the front desk 4 times. She and her family ended up walking back to their room dripping wet. We did see the front desk staff drying the floors with a towel when we went back to our room. Any stores or food are a ten minute drive away. Lots of construction in the area, so it made travel slightly more difficult. Using GPS it actually had us do a u-turn right near an on ramp for I-5. The hotel has food and drinks available. We didn't purchase any because it seems priced slightly higher than we are comfortable with. So, we drove to local businesses to make purchases. House keeping lightly knocked and entered our room the following morning. It took her about 5 seconds to knock and enter. I was sleeping in the bed closes to the door and couldn't get to the door before she poked her head in. She said "sorry" and shut the door. It was 9:55 am. We had been up all night looking for linens, so we were not pleased with the early morning wake up. We did stay up at that point though. The hotel is only 6 years old. We do have faith that through honest reviews with actionable items. That this hotel with some work can be one of the Hilton's better hotels. The design, layout and decor of the hotel are amazing, but the amenities, pool, bathroom, heating, house keeping, bedding/linens and services need attention.

The night staff gave us homemade christmas cookies. Best ever! (cookie baker, desk clerk, young woman from Sherwood, OR-can't remember your name.) A big part of my holiday plan this year was based on a small dog. The fact that Hilton garden is pet friendly made everything possible. While the room was nothing special, the fact that I didn't have to worry about last minute pet accommodation was sweet relief during hectic holiday times.

The room was specious but that's about all that I can say positive about them. I was very disappointed. The floors were dirty and liked like they weren't vacuumed, the showers need deep cleaned, the bed was uncomfortable and then pictures shown are of the torn sofa and carpet. The prices were raised way too high due to an event going on in town. If I'm in town again, I'll definitely go to another brand hotel.

Appreciate the helpfulness of the staff to accommodate us. We had to travel a day early because of winter storm. Staff helped me make extra reservation and kept us in the same room so we didn't have to move when originally reservation started. We stayed 4 nights, and the staff located us in a room close to the side door that was very convenient for having two dogs.

This was one of the best Hilton's I've stayed at. The check in process was fast and smooth. It is really close to I-5, and the capital going one, as well as the watershed park 🏞️. I was given an option of choosing what floor I wanted to stay on. I requested extra pillows and a blanket and it was provided. Very nice bed, room was fantastic and quiet. I was able to rest and be ready for my day. I do wish the bathroom had a fan and that the shower head was adjustable for the pressure, but otherwise a perfect stay. Check out process was smooth. I especially appreciated the front desk man, RJ, who was very helpful and had a bright smile even though it was an early and grey day.

We rented the 1 bedroom King and I wasn’t expecting what we got. The room was huge. The hotel was clean and extremely convenient off I5. Considering the price, this is one of my new favorite Hiltons. Make sure to say hi to Kalvin, he is one of the best customer service related people I have ever met. He definitely started our day off on the right foot!

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also have a nice cafe at the hotel in case you get hungry. I recommend the cafe because there are not any immediately available restaurants in walking distance that I am aware of.

Breakfast is not included. The buffet is $11 and includes eggs bacon sausage and potatoes. There's fruit juice cereal and muffins. It's medium quality overall. Hotel is secluded but very close to the Capitol. There's a nice gathering room next to the lobby. Pool is nice. Rooms are typical for this level of hotel. Each room has a fridge micro and coffee machine. Parking is sparse. If you get in late you may be parking on the street.

My wife and I are on our honeymoon. We decided to travel around oregon and Washington without reservations and fly by the seat of our pants. It has been a blast until we met the little girl that checked us in. Will never come back. She is rude! She has no business in customer service. We will be traveling north to our next unscheduled stop. Every other hotel and motel have been great and friendly. So far on our trip the quality in beat the pants off this hilton. Customer service is everything. Someone should teach her how to talk to people. Maybe she could get a job in a morgue or something.

We were there for a presentation. We did not check in. The lobby looked inviting and the bar area was pleasant. Staff seemed happy and the hotel was clean.

Tucked away in Tumwater, right off I-5 but quiet. Close to Downtown Olympia! The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean and I loved the fact they have pumpstyle soap and shampoo in the shower, no tiny bar soaps! Well worth the stay. Nice bar downstairs with good food!

The room was spacious but quite noisy. At one night, we have to sleep with the traffic noise from nearby highway and next door neighbor plus the heavy steps from the ceiling. Their room service didn't do our bed, only resupply towels.

Received superb customer service from the kind staff. Kimberly, Sara and Michelle were the frontline of the hotel and went above and beyond to make our 2 day unexpected stay comfortable. Check was quick and easy. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Laundry service is available. Thank you so much

Spent a few days here, and all considering not bad at all! It is a newer property. The rooms were clean and modern. The lobby area was modern and spacious. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. They have a little bar downstairs that makes a mean old fashioned. One of the elevators was out of order during our visit. The one elevator still working was a little slow but adequate. The room rate was good while we were there so overall no complaints.

Went here for a corporate meeting. The meeting room has as broken beverage cooler but I guess it was ok we had to ask for drinks. Employees of the hotel interrupted the meeting twice and quickly apologized and closed the door. We had to ask for utensils and condiments for our lunch in addition to asking for soda and bottled water that we paid for. And lastly the place is under construction so it was super loud. Over all not a great experience at all.

Hilton Garden Inn Olympia exceeded my expectations! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel's location was convenient, and the amenities were excellent. I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn Olympia for a great experience.

We stayed one night while our kids held a wedding reception at our house. The room was very nice and the service was friendly. They had several amenities we didn’t use, but were available. The location is good for someone passing through, as it is close to the freeway, but it doesn’t allow easy access to the downtown restaurants and shops.

I’ve been here twice so far. Both experiences with front desk have been swell! I especially loved Michelle’s service. Best front desk interaction I’ve ever experienced. Thanks, Michelle! Hope your boss decides to give you something special for this review. You deserve it!

This property was great. The room was clean ,the entire property smelled clean with zero foul odors including my room and the elevator. All of the receptionist I interacted with were amazing especially Elizabeth . There was no trash in the parking lot and they had plenty of room for travel trailers or people towing small this to park this was a major plus. Thank you for having a great property here!

I love this hotel! The pool and hot tub are perfect. The staff are always so nice and bend over backwards to be helpful. I got my daughter a to-go plate from their breakfast buffet and from start to finish, she was over the moon. "This is the sweetest cantaloupe! The sausage is incredible!" I took a video of her eating breakfast because I've never seen her so happy with her food. A+

My family and I stayed for just one night, but we had such a great experience in just that short time. The staff at this hotel are very attentive and friendly! Their customer service was 100 percent on point. Especially Jessica (front desk) and Kalvin (the breakfast server). They were absolutely awesome! We would return and stay here again just because of them. Our room was very spacious and clean and beds were comfortable as well. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and well located hotel in Olympia, this is it. Very nice staff. Clean. Great breakfast. They were very accommodating to me and my family when we had to evacuate due to a flood. They took us right in and were very supportive. I stay in a lot of hotels for my job and I can say this stay was one of the very best I've come across.

I stayed here for 7 months and the stay was so nice, I actually did not want to leave. The front desk customer service was top notch, Max was absolutely my husband and mines favorite person up front, he was so funny and friendly. The gym is so nice! The pool is amazing, the location was great. Room cleaning service was amazing, the breakfast and little bar they have was also amazing. I would give this place so many more stars if I could!!

Located in a good area. Front desk always answers their phones and provides excellent customer service. Beds and pillows are comfortable but the bathroom was dirty. The whole hotel smelled awful.. my room especially. The elevators are also super slow. Bathroom sliding doors don’t shut all the way leaving a pool of water when you come out. Laundry costs $2 each for washer and dryer.

The bed linens and mattresses are SOOO comfortable, and I love that it was pitch black in my room at 8:30am because the blinds work so well! The staff is super-friendly, the rooms are nice and clean, the hot tub is HOT and the jets actually have good pressure! The fitness room is totally lame, though, a big deal for many travelers, I know for a fact.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Olympic National Park and had an excellent nights stay! The hotel rooms were elegant and clean, reception was very polite and helpful, and breakfast was nothing short of amazing! Special shout-out to Christina and Laura for taking such good care of us during our breakfast. Looking forward to visiting again!

Went here for a honeymoon, it was lovely! we shoed up late and even still there was a member t the counter to help us right away. Room as big and clean, lovely atmosphere but my view overlooked a parking lot. still a lovely stay and breakfast was delicious!

Enjoyed our stay at this location. Room was clean and bed was comfortable (Not best nor worst I have slept on). Restaurant was above average and priced about the same as many other local establishments for breakfast. The cook actually made eggs correctly to order and bacon was good. What more can you ask for!?!? Waitress was attentive as well. P.S. Coffee in lobby (10 steps away) was free and better than restaurants coffee as it was fresh and hot. Overall a great stay. Would stay again if in the area for sure.

Clean, tidy, well serviced and kept up. Alicia at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, and clearly cares about her work. Check in was painless and quick, all our needs were met and accommodated. We were made to feel welcome and at home. Will be back

Great hotel. Nice room. I love the minimalist design if the rooms. Would be 5 stars if the WiFi was better. It was about 10Mbs but the latency prevented me from actually using it. I had to hotspot my phone which had dodgy service itself.

Although it was wonderful in the beginning, the breakfast staff member was rude and treated us different than those around us souring our mood. Including, curtly telling us juice is self serve and then offering to get juice for the table next to us that arrived later. Not checking on us for quite a while in the beginning and then checking on later people right away, and dropping the check almost right after food without speaking to us and not asking how we wanted to pay, merely marking it as to the room, yet dropping checks to others after they had eaten for a while and nicely explaining no rush. Dinner and the bar service was fine. And the check in was fine. But the breakfast treatment was ridiculous and they didn't ask how our stay was when we left.

I had an amazing stay! I am in hotels 50% of my life and this hotel exceeded my expectation in all ways. Pool and hot tub were awesome, room was modern and clean! Alicia at the front desk was the kindest and most helpful front host I have ever met! Highly recommend! Thank you!

We walked in and were able to get a room after midnight. Very nice building and the rooms are surprisingly upscale. Convenient location. No breakfast included, but that is reflected in the price of the room, which was very reasonable for ours given the quality. I would stay here again.

  • 5/5 Jennifer C. 11 months ago on Google
Good place to stay on my road trip. Super friendly staff. Only real negative is the noise from the highway. You definitely want a room on the other side. They did not invest enough in the soundproofing or the windows. They do provide ear plugs next to the shampoo and conditioner if that tells you anything.

The host RJ was wonderful. I had an issue and he went above and beyond to make it right, keeping in communication as the evening progressed. The breakfast sausage is meh, but the eggs are real eggs and they keep them fresh so they don’t dry out. The snack bar choices are excellent, and when my companion stayed in the hot tub too long and got woozy, the host that night was able to quickly grab us a Gatorade. Oh and that hot tub is amazing! Nice and strong jets and the pool area is nice and clean. The hotel is pet friendly so it was nice to see dogs here. One of the hosts has a service dog and it was obviously very well trained and accepted a brief head scratch after I got permission from its person. Overall a 5 out 5.
