It would be great if (regardless of the horrible smell at low tide - that comes with the territory) there weren't consistently 4 to 6 sketchy looking dudes hainging out, and random people in sleeping bags on the grass. Not a great place to bring the kids. My 10 yo asked why people were leaving thermometers lying around. Those were not thermometers.

Beautiful view of downtown, the Capitol building, and then the arrival of the aliens.

Cute and small. Couple of benches and grass area and walk down to small beach. Port a potty there and plenty of free packing

Lovely, quiet, little park with a pebbled beach. The park has open, grass areas, a few trees for shade, pretty plants, and, of course, the full view of Budd Bay. Off street parking is available. Bonus feature: Cross the street at the crosswalk and look for the trail leading into the woods on the hill. The trail is lined with trees and ferns, and leads up the hill to a residential area. From the top of the trail, it's a short walk to the Olympia Food Co-op.

Nice little small spot to stop & take pictures. Friendly homeless man across the street said I won't get towed on the other side of the street. Thanks, old guy!

This area of Olympia has a walking trail with benches and a sanctuary for birds 🐦. Across the street is an outdoor water park and the childrens hands on the museum for kids of all ages and working bathrooms. Anyone can watch the tide come in and out or walk the area around the new apartment homes and businesses.

This used to be on my list of favorite places. Now I will not come here only, only with at least one friend and then we'll jog. I wish the state could find some help for the people who have to live in the park.
