Gamecock Park is one of the most special places in all of college football. The atmosphere is like no other. The food trucks that come out ensure that even if you forgot food on the way to the tailgate, there will be great selections available for you. Everyone is always friendly and the area is always well maintained and looks gorgeous.

Very nice place for tailgating and has restrooms. Bring a tent because the trees still need time to grow to give good shade. The Long family operations center is very nice and a great place for the team to workout and practice.

This is where I had to go to get my first shot they had a nice setup of course the military was there to make sure that everything went smoothly so I was pleased I wasn't there less than an hour it's okay it was a good place to be able to get your shot and be able to sit there at the 15 minutes waiting period until time to leave

Went to get our vaccine there. Very friendly folks, well organized. Hoping for herd immunity so we can get back to normal soon. Thank you frontline workers.

I felt so important! It was so quiet with no players out there everyone leaving because school had ended and it was so peaceful and I just stood there and took it all in .! it was so overwhelming I wanted to just cry at how amazingly beautiful it was and a how powerful it feels! I felt like a Queen for about 15 minutes! Thank you to the very nice man that let me come in and look, and thank you to the University of South Carolina for everything you do for our students our children our state and keeping us proud! So as I entered into this paradise, all I could think of was how fortunate I am to be able to stand in the middle of that practice field completely alone not a noise around no one but me taking it all in and it was simply moving! For a brief moment, and I mean brief, I felt sad that I had to share the experience alone and wished that I had my husband and children with me. So the next best thing you asked? I decide to video call my husband and he picked up and I said wait for it, wait for it, and boom I started showing him with my video camera on my phone all that goodness! And I promise you he was jealous! And that made me feel so good lol lol. University of South Carolina Gamecocks spared no expense when creating the new practice stadium! My son has been going to USC for over 2 years now and has NEVER BEEN INTO the new practice field! My hubby, also being a huge Gamecocks diehard fan, got the surprise of his life too! I drove to Columbia from Charleston South Carolina to help my son & his girlfriend move out of there 3 bedroom apartment. Since school year has ended, they will be home for the summer and asked for help . I never though I would be going on a Field Trip !! LOL!! When we left to head back to Charleston, my son asked me to stop off at a store down the road to get a few things, & of course, Krispy Kreme ( Since Charleston is taking there sweet time Building one here), & then it happened!!! I looked up and BOOM.!!! THERE SITS ... Carolina Gamecocks Football Stadium in all its glory! I was freaking out to be able to be that close to it, that I almost missed the thing that is soooooo much talked about, & has not yet been entered into or seen by any one in our diehard Carolina Gamecocks loving group of family & friends ... ahhhhh... The Practice Stadium!!! I stood out front of the doors attempting to see all I could through the glass. Then all of a sudden a very nice old man came to the glass door and unlocked it! He asked if I wanted to come inside and take a look around because they were fixing to leave and it would not bother them if I wanted to look! I was like what the what!!! U dang right I do!!! Now.. I share my images with you.. Enjoy!

Went here for covid vaccine and they have this set up very nicely. Everyone is nice and they are quick on getting you through the process and checking on you throughout your 15 minute wait after the shot.

Drove my father to this location for his first COVID vaccination shot. The park was nice, well maintained. We didn't have to get out the car. Even though we had an appointment, it was a lot of people. My dad's appointment was at 9:30am. We got in the car line at 9:11am. My dad got his vaccination around 10:25am. I would advice people to get early morning appointments. I would advice people to drive vehicles that don't have issues with over heating or sitting in one spot for a period of time. The car line is at a snail's pace, but the line continued to move. For the second COVID shot will leave home 7:30am.

Horrible. If there was an emergency, you never would get out with 1 entrance open.

Gamecock Park wonderful, but waiting an Hour & Half to get out to Bluff Rd.(which 2 of 3) times this years is keeping people from going to game or leaving before game is over??? Pay too much to have this experience. Example; Family parking on Key Rd. Or Fairgrounds ( with Fair going on),left after game and got back to Spartanburg before we got home in Cola. Thanks David Knight
