Increasing
from
1-3
stars
since
Dr.
Mvundura
is
truly
amazing
and
the
best
OBGYN
I
have
ever
had.
The
staff
needs
serious
improvement
though.
I
just
called
to
ask
if
they
were
taking
new
patients
since
the
St.
Pete’s
ER
diagnosed
me
with
an
ovarian
cyst
that
may
be
contorting
at
times.
So…since
this
is
a
providence
obgyn
office
it
made
sense
to
me
to
book
an
appointment
with
them
since
they
would
have
easy
access
to
the
ultrasound
records
from
the
providence
ER.
I
was
told
that
yes
they
take
new
patients
with
a
referral
from
their
primary
physician
only.
What
kind
of
archaic
rule
is
that?!
I
asked
why
a
woman
would
need
permission
from
their
primary
to
see
an
OBGYN.
They
said
because
they
are
a
specialty
office,
therefore
for
billing.
Um
yes,
all
OBGYN
offices
are
specialty
however,
they
don’t
require
referrals
from
primary
docs
because
all
women
need
an
OBGYN.
Just
like
you
don’t
need
a
primary
doc
referral
to
see
a
dentist.
I
would
have
moved
on
after
this
red
flag
but
my
condition
could
turn
life
threatening
so
I
had
to
play
along.
I
got
permission
from
my
male
primary
to
see
an
OBGYN
there.
Thankfully
my
primary
doc
lives
in
the
21st
century
and
isn’t
a
cave
man.
I’ll
be
sure
to
bring
a
note
from
my
husband
as
well
just
in
case
I
need
to
discuss
any
birth
control
options.
🙄
This
place
will
need
to
be
freaking
amazing
for
this
review
to
improve,
or
come
up
for
a
better
explanation
as
to
why
women
need
permission
to
see
an
OBGYN.
Very
disturbing
archaic
and
misogynistic
policy
for
a
women’s
health
clinic.
