Id give a zero if I could. Scheduled in August for a root canal in November, because thats how long their out on their scheduling. My kid is 16 and suffering. So we wait. Here it is the great day of the appointment and they do a dental cleaning and no root canal. They didnt even have it in their schedule. Oh wait, they don't even do these here! So they took our insurance payment, which I have to pay a copay on, on services we did not request and on top of that, can't even help him! OH and he has his own dentist, so why are they trying to perform any services his regular dentist can do is beyond me! No apologies no care in the world.

I have had about 10 appointments with Sea Mar Tumwater over the past few years. It does take about 3 months to get an appointment but they will handle emergencies but you may have to wait. They are very busy because they are one of the few options for people on Apple Health Care. I have found their work excellent. Their scope of practice is limited to cavity fills. They will do extractions but nothing complex. They do make their money off office visits so if you have 2 cavities you will not get both done in 1 visit. As long as you know how they operate you will have a smooth experience.

Had excellent work and support for several procedures lately and really like the staff at Ensign location, which is very convenient, ample parking and just blocks from my doctor's office! Great work on an extraction (healing beautifully), large cavity filings I really needed, excellent cleaning. Office staff have gently and patiently taken the time to contact as many other places as possible to help me get other procedures done at the lowest cost possible that accepts my insurance. I'm so glad this place exists. TY

I'm not even sure they deserve 2 stars, but I'm feeling generous today. I took time off work to bring my daughter to the dentist, and since she was being a little fussy, they didn't even attempt to give her a dental exam. She gets a bacteria build up on her teeth and needs to have it polished a couple times per year, but the dentist barely even attempted to look in her mouth. Told me to come back in a couple months. I guess that is the service you get when you have state insurance. Thankfully my daughter is now covered by private insurance and we can go somewhere better.

Plan on an extra 30 minutes for your appointment and then you will not be as annoyed. The office staff was friendly and polite despite being overrun. My dental hygienist was very nice, informative and checked on my comfort multiple times. I was very impressed with the service provided today.

Literally the receptionist at the front, I called and was talking with customer care all morning to let them know I'm running 15 minutes late exactly coming all the way from tacoma and there was traffic. I was there at 815 waited an hour and was told I have to reschedule. I asked clarifying questions to assure I can get my filling next week at my scheduled appointment because as the dentist predicted it started hurting. They couldn't directly answer my question he started yelling and speaking aggressively AT me to tell me my dentist won't be working here anymore and to reschedule today's appointment I'll have to get on a list for a new provider. I said I would rather transfer to tacoma because I live there. I just wanted to know if I drive out here next week they'll do my filling and I can finish my cleaning elsewhere. He had no reason to speak to me with aggression in his voice period. This is unprofessional business behavior and communication. And I don't appreciate being spoken to that way being a woman. Do better.

Look, I don't know if there was a lot of turn over in the last few months or WHAT but my experience today at the Dental Clinic in Tumwater was absolutely stellar. I have had horrible teeth my whole life. I am working on a 4th root canal and an extraction. I know dentistry as a customer, and this was not sub-par by any stretch of the imagination. I was a walk in for a dental emergency. I was expecting to wait for 3-4 hrs but they saw me in under 2. Mr. Soto at the desk was informative and kind. Anthony that did the initial interview before the doc came in was polite, kind and caring. Dr Goessman was informative, swift but not impatient (taking the time to explain a LOT of questions I had) and encouraging. I had to have a prescription written for antibiotics and he wrote it right there so I could take it wherever I needed. From first impression of the kind receptionist to the very end scheduling a follow up, I was pleased and well taken care of. I put this visit off for months because of the negative reviews here...DON'T DO THAT. Go on in and experience their care for yourself.

It is extremely disconcerting how many people at this facility wear their masks below their noses. Not just patients but also reception staff. Do they know covid is transmitted by breath and that when you exhale, breath comes out your nose? Other than that, can’t beat the price… they fixed up my teeth just fine.

Absolutely the worst dentist. I have been dealing with a tooth infection for w months and the dentist keeps sending me away.

I had my first visit there on 4/23. It was a bit of a wait and paperwork to be filled out... Normal new patient stuff. I had X-rays taken And an exam. A treatment plan was created. The exam itself was quick and easy. I was able to be scheduled for my cleaning two days later (4/26) I checked in about 15 mins early and was called back in less than 5 mins of checking in. The hygenist was very informative and sensitive to possible discomfort as it had been awhile since I'd had a cleaning. I won't be able to be seen again for some fillings until August but this is a community health/lower income clinic. (It's going to be busy as there is a lot of need.) I'm pretty happy with the way I've been treated and the care received.

I've been avoiding dentists like the plague for almost 10 years. Having said that, I love this place, everyone has treated me with courteous compassion so far and I'm actually eager to come back and get more work done. Oral Surgery Associates should take notes, and I personally feel like the bad reviews here come from people who unreasonably expect instant gratification or fail to properly communicate. This is a high-traffic dental clinic, they help a lot of people, be patient and express yourself concisely, they're not miracle workers

Make sure you take the day off. Over booked for sure. Always waiting 30 plus minutes after your scheduled appointment. Front staff is friendly though.
