This place is a joke. Don't expect to receive care here they'll just schedule tests that are completely unnecessary to rack up the insurance money and the doctor will even tell you they're doing it. They don't answer the phones and if you manage to actually get them on the phone they are rude and give attitude if you ask them for anything. Dr. Girn will talk down to you and take advantage of you If you're a female. He has admitted to my face that he's ordering me tests that I don't need and won't help me. There's never a supervisor available to bring issues up to either they're always "in a meeting" and they say they will give them your call back number but you'll never get a call back. (It's happened many times now). And Dr. Girn will also spend half your appointment time talking to you like you're a child or giving you a lecture on his personal opinions about your health history. Don't waist your time here. Find a real doctor's office.

Provider Dr. Arora is not thorough, I had to push for a good exam of my heart, my wife also saw her and my wife is 58 has not seen a cardiologist in over 10 years, Dr. Arora did not do any work up on her and acted very dismissive. In my case she was not transparent in informing me that she would have another doctor do the heart catheterization, placement of a stent. Instead she lead me to believe that she would be doing the entire procedure and when I got billed, it was for two providers her and Dr. Ghimire, which I never consulted and was never informed of him. Dr. Ghimire only appeared when I was under, I can only guess he really was present because of medical records stating he placed the stent, but again never talked with me or discussed anything with me, the patient, instead Dr. Arora lead me to believe she was doing everything, and the Navex system which is an integrity system for patients to start a complaint was the one who informed me that Dr. Arora was not qualified to place stents so Dr. Ghimire then places the stent. This to me is unethical, no transparency at all, and don't bother with the customer service for Providence all they do is throw codes at you, I am finding another cardiologist and will definitely not be with Providence, as a matter of fact all my providers will be from another institution. You decide but as for me Providence cardiology, all of Providence has left a bad taste in my mouth and this is coming from an RN. Very unprofessional Dr. Arora and Dr. Ghimire for not presenting himself while I was conscious, they used conscious sedation I could have been aroused to be informed of this provider coming in to do the procedure and no one ever did. Very unprofessional for Providence and Dr. Arora and Dr. Ghimire. Do extensive research on your providers I rushed and payed the price literally, paying for 2 provider services when this should have been only one. Honestly now that I have settled more in the area, new position, most of my peers feel the same, they are guiding me and all of them our guiding me away from Providence, so when nurses tell you this, listen! By the way gave 1 star because 0 stars is not an option.

I was referred to this office by my OBGYN (I'm 14 weeks pregnant) for tests to be done for my heart problems ASAP after a visit to the ER. During my time waiting for the referral to be received (my ob sent over info and called numerous times) I had another visit to the ER. My ER Doctor also forwarded the same orders for me to be seen ASAP. I got a monitor placed ASAP but was told I didn't need the echo or consultation with the cardiologist immediately (even though that was documented). I returned to my OBGYN for post ER visit to have my follow up and he told me that was untrue and that I did need this all done immediately... Got a call from providence today to schedule.. 2 WEEKS OUT!! That doesn't seem immediate to me? I found another cardiologist who will be getting me in right away! Thankfully!! Not worth risking my own life or my unborn child for a 2 week wait on "immediate/ASAP"!!

These people do not answer their phones. I'm trying to reschedule an appointment for my elderly parent and have been on hold for over 20 minutes. (And I'm still on hold) I've actually called back trying to go from the scheduling line to the operator line so this is my second attempt. Is there anyone actually working in the office? Just horrible and unacceptable for a critical health care provider. If I am my elderly parents tried to call in, they would be completely without assistance.

My wife had cardiac arrest on 9/18. They worked on her in Seattle for 28 minutes and had to shock her three times before bringing her to UW. She was released a week later and we were given a referral to see a cardiologist at Providence cardiology associates. Still a month later and we can't get in. Every time I call I'm told the referral is still "in process". I'm also told that because it was a "standard referral" it will be a long time before she can be seen. I'm told the squeeky wheel gets the grease. After our doctors office called and even the UW, to try to get things moving, still nothing. I don't understand why a heart patient who died three times and has a defibilator can't get in to see a local cardiologist. Now we are going back to UW. If this is an indication of the type of care patients receive at Providence cardiology associates then perhaps it's best we go elsewhere. I just really hope that others are given adequate service there and I would be really disappointed if the reason she wasn't referred in a timely way is because she is on Medicaid. I wouldn't expect that but one has to wonder why someone in her situation is never called back and we are only told "we're still working on it." Providence is a great Hospital network but I wonder about this particular cardiology office. Very disappointing.

I was a new patient at the end of Oct, first visit told the Dr was held up in surgery would be an hr plus wait, I graciously rescheduled. They appointed me two weeks later. I waited 1.5hrs after my arrival time to see Dr. Rossow. They said they would place a referral request for the heart monitor I needed. Many MyChart messages later, they said they initiated the referral then retracted and said they didn't. I have called, sent msgs and asked for a manager to contact me. Almost 4 weeks post appt and nothing from them. Super disappointed. The reception team was great.

If I could rate this office 0 stars, I would. I saw a provider here almost 5 years ago to make sure the palpitations I get (very rarely) weren't a big issue. Fast forward to February of this year. I have been having spasms in my sternum and upper abdomen. My pulmonologist was concerned it could be my heart since it was recorded on one EKG that I had a shortened PR interval. He told me to stop everything until I can be seen at the cardiologist. He also told me if I didn't hear from them within a week, to call them and schedule. I called the cardiologist office 8 days later and was told they had received my referral but that they wouldn't schedule me without my previous cardiology medical records. I work at a specialists office, and can tell you from personal experience that past medical records are convenient to have, so they know what tests you have had done previously, but are absolutely NOT necessary to receive care. A referral is all that is required to see a specialist (and even then, sometimes not required by insurance). I told her that the only cardiologist that I had ever seen was at their own office and her words were, "....oh." I asked if I could schedule while waiting for them to get those (from their own system) and she still refused to schedule my appointment. Not having previous medical records is not a good reason for a medical office or provider to refuse medically necessary care. It is also unacceptable that every customer service representative you speak to is rude, and not helpful. It is against AMA Code of Medical Ethics to inadequately keep records. This same code of medical ethics dictates that patients have the right to courtesy, respect, dignity, and timely responsive attention to his or her needs. This office falls short in every category. Save yourself some frustration and have your referral sent to a different cardiologist.

No one answers the phone. Have been trying for two weeks to schedule an appointment for a pacemaker check that is due. From the reviews I see that this is not a new problem. What in the world is going on? Totally unacceptable!!!

Their doctors are good. Their staff is horrible. The older woman at the reception desk in the actual cardiology waiting room (not registration) is an awful human being. He is so mean and ugly inside. She's rude, condescending, has no intelligence or tact and no skills when it comes to patient care. If you want a friendly office go somewhere else. I have been treated so poorly there. The nurses have no education, I am a nurse and I don't trust them at all. They lie straight to your face. This group is the upitomy of unprofessional, uninterested in helping patients and just horrific all because of the receptionist and nurses. It's quite sad because the doctors are friendly. They're just surrounded by incompetence.

Called and talked to them about medication running up blood sugar, said they would call me back. But I'm not important enough I guess. And if this were something serious because I do have several cardiac issues and I were to pass away. I can't begin to imagine how much they would be sued for my wife would go for it, and there wouldn't be any excuse on there part, pure negligence.

Awful...no notes in the office visit papers for you to look at and refer to. Rude nurses (CMA known as Tic)...and sloppy communucation...tried several times each day for days to talk to someone, always on hold, no one calls back. Adverse reaction to the surgery and no communication about bloodthinners. Told to come to office 2 weeks post op, had to come in 5days post op for check up and had a heck of a time getting an appointment. Loads of messages sent, questions about INR, sent pictures of massive bruising/swelling..not one reply except for *Tic* saying it was a Boston ICD. Unacceptable treatment.

Wait times are absolutely terrible. Not very accessible for powerchairs. Bedside manner inconsistent, and I once got some srsly contaminated food items at the cafe. Reception has always been fantastic, although the person manning the waiting area desk was rather rude and somewhat stigmatizing at my last visit.

Called in a refill on Friday. No response by Wednesday, called Dr directly and told them I was entirely out of pills. They denied the pharmacy refill request. I called again Thursday they told me it wpuld be 72 hours until they filled my RX but that i was listed as "high priority". I asked what i was supposed to do without medication, the person i talked to didnt seem to care and in fact the person I talked to seemed rather annoyed at my even asking. It is now Saturday, over a week after I called my pharmacy to refill my prescription l. I am massively tachycardic and have no way to control it. No idea when I'll actually get my RX. Hopefully I don't have a cardiac event in the meantime. Edit: 2 months later and once again I have no prescription. This time I called my refill in 5 days before I needed it.. 2 days later I emailed the clinic and they told me they received my request. And yet it is now Saturday and I have no prescription or pills left. Don't come here this place is a joke.

I had excellent service and treatment and I was very lucky that the really did a thorough checkup! Could not ask for better service from the moment I checked in.

As I write this, I've been on hold for 51 minutes to speak to someone about refilling my mother's prescription. Her MyChart has incorrect info, and is unusable. She needs a doctor to send in a prescription for her heart medication. She received a letter from her doctor stating that she needs an appointment first, before the prescription can be refilled. Pharmacist states that this medication is important, and she should visit her doctor before her prescription runs out. After waiting for an extended period of time on the phone a few days ago, the representative scheduled her 4 months into the future--the next available appointment--and said they'll notify the doctor's team of her prescription. Mom has received another notice that her prescription will not be refilled until she sees the doctor. So, her important heart medication will potentially stop, which could cause adverse health issues for my mom, because of the inefficient bureaucracy at Providence Cardiology. Hopefully when someone answers this phone, I can get this corrected. Waiting...

I’m very thankful for my cardiologist team. I came in and did registration then went back and before I entered the hallway I was being called back already. Did some quick testing answered question then left that area and waited by C- waiting area for not even 5 minutes before I was called in to see my new team. They are on point!! Very helpful and also listen to their patients I truly appreciated that the most.

The people there are very kind and knowledgeable. It's always scary going into a place about your health, but they made it very easy.

I like my Dr. The rest not so much. Their website says they open at 8:00 a.m.. keep getting a recoding saying it's after hours. .looking through other reviews this seems to be a constant.

My Mom has had the worst time getting prescriptions refilled. Multiple calls to the office, Urgent fax from pharmacist, calls from family did not get the refill prescription approved. This has happened more than once. Staff is nice but did not produce results. This has caused considerable stress and jeopardized health!

Two doctors at P. C. A. said I needed immediate surgery even though test results indicated quite the opposite. Good thing my brother in law is a cardiologist. He agreed with the test results. If I had listened to the doctors at P. C. A. I'd be living a different life right now, and the doctors would be a lot richer! Makes one wonder if the cardiologists get a kick back from the surgeon.
