Food was nice though service is dreadful. So many staff walking around but none paying attention to customers.

Went in for lunch and although my wife enjoyed her meal my chicken Caesar Salad was a disaster. The chicken was a complete fillet instead of being in bite size pieces and was so tough he was impossible to eat. Hence the one star. Would not recommend this establishment for eating at anytime.

For a pub it's abit expensive in comparison to other places we have eaten , I was put off big time as soon as we walked in , the floor is so sticky it is impossible not to notice also the smell if stale beer , it obviously doesn't get cleaned properly, the seats are busted and ripped and table i noticed was washed over but alot of residue on it 🤢I wouldn't and didn't use the toilets, I kept my order as simple as possible ,soup and a bowl of chips pint of Guinness , well at least I can say I tried it but it would definitely not return for neither drink or food .

The absolute best burger I have ever eaten! I literally told most of my friends about it. Every single component was as good as it could be to come together in a symphony for my taste buds. Juicy good sized beef burger. Thick salty bacon perfectly cooked. The pickles were like no pickle I had ever tasted and I think the special thing that took the burger to the next level. Cheese melted not on the burger but into the inside top half of the bun meaning all the flavours were trapped in there. Genius. Brioche bun. I will find an excuse to travel back here and have another. We also had... bacon and cheese wedges. Perfect. A vegan power salad. Delicious. Kids burger meal Kids baby chino desert. The kids burger was served completely plain (just meat and bun) which was a disappointment but I understand why as kids can be picky. so the only improvement food wise would be to ask if we wanted toppings on that. Music playing was kinda pop rock genre from the 90s 2000s at a low enough level to hear but still ignore when talking. I dont think there was a giant TV showing soccer 24/7 which was a nice change to most gastro pub type places these days.

The best food I’ve had! Everything done in top of quality in taste n presentation. Eating there is more like appreciating art than filling the belly. Staff super attentive and sensitive to our needs - lovely taste of deco n music - absolute gem! Will go back soonest can!

Called in for a quick bite on a Saturday, my wife and daughter were with me, staff and service was very good, food was grand, but to be honest I was surprised by the price for 3 mains, one of which is a kid's meal, it's my only complaint,but it's enough for me to stay away, to put in context I had a three course the next day and it was only 8 pounds more for the three of us,enough said.

Food is delicious customer service excellent and the seating outside is fantastic especially if you're a smoker Big enough space so that non smokers aren't affected ?

This is a nice little pub. I remember it from years ago. It has been modernised which I feel has taken away a bit of the atmosphere that it had. It used to be a separate bar and lounge but has been opened up into one huge area which has filled the atmosphere. It is however a nice pub for a drink and the staff and locals are very friendly and welcoming. It's well worth popping into for a visit.

Wish I hadn't had a starter. The main would have been ample. Very generous portions. Delicious. Lovely staff too. Reasonable prices and quick service.

I have been going to Sallys for years and always returned .The food and staff are excellent.However, I was there with a friend from Cork and two other Wednesday evening a week ago, we had to eat in the bar as Restaurant was full.We had no problem with that at all.This is the first time I have had a bad meal.The Chicken and the fish where extremely over cooked and the Beef stroganoff was not true to its discription.As my friend was treating us to the meal , none of us could complain to our server.Sorry Sally's I think your chef may have been on his night off.Hope this never happens again Suppose there's a first time foe everything.Aoart from that I will be back as I know it was just a bad night.
