I had a little trouble finding the building, but once inside, the doctor and staff were all nice and helpful about my concerns and questions. I was given intake forms in the mail to fill out well before my appointment. The procedure was fast and painless, and I was given thorough directions for after-care. They helped me figure out the best way to pay before I said yes to the procedure. Thanks!

Dr. Darling and staff are the best around. From checking in, meeting the nurse, talking with the Doctor, the exam, treatment and setting up the next appointment was a pleasant experience. Dr. Darling is very approachable and listen to my concerns and treated me with the utmost respect. Highly recommended!

Always great care. Sorry to see Dr. Luckasen retire. He took care of my mother. My wife sees him also annually. He has been my dermatologist for well over 35 years. Great doctor, wonderful person. He worked hard and deserves retirement . Enjoy your golf in Florida and think about us here this winter! Thank you for the great care you provided for my family!

Dr. Collin Parker has taken care of both myself and my wife. Listened to concerns and walked me through a range of treatment options to find the the most appropriate. Recommend him to all my friends and family.

Had basil cell skin cancer on both sides of face near my ears. Dr. Parker was my dermatologist who performed the appropriate surgery to remove both areas of the skin cancer. The procedures were done on two separate occasions as an outpatient in his clinic. He and his staff were spectacular. I experienced virtually no discomfort during and after the procedures. The surgical wounds healed incredibly fast and within a couple of weeks it was hard to even see the scarring. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Parker and his staff. I would highly recommend him and his staff for any needed medical care.

I brought my 87 year old mother to have Dr. Darling remove some skin growths on my mom's face. At the beginning of the procedure, my mom suddenly started getting confused and panicked as she sometimes does in new situations. Fortunately, Dr. Darling and her assistant did a wonderful job of calming and reassuring her. We were able to get everything done that needed to get done. In the end, my mother was very pleased with how the appointment went and thanked them for their understanding.

EDITED TO ADD: Midwest Dermatology has responded to my review by saying that they see themselves as insurance "middle men". Considering the fact that they did not contact my insurance at all for the bills in June and July- which is unfortunate for me because I had met my deductible so these two bills would have been almost entirely paid for by insurance- I'm not sure this is the proper term. But my issue is not just the fact that my bills weren't submitted to my insurance, it is also the fact that no one informed me of them. They didn't let me know about my account balance while I was in the office. I asked multiple times about my outstanding balance and was never informed of it. When I finally found out about it because the bill was sent to collections, I contacted the office and was essentially brushed off. I understand that things happen, but what I don't appreciate is the lack of accountability here. My visits were fine, but billing was a NIGHTMARE. I had a monthly appointment for almost all of 2019 and for some reason their billing people didn't run my June and July bills through my insurance. They also did not ever tell me about these bills during any of my visits, despite the fact that I paid for all my other appointments in the office from August-October. They then never contacted me to pay these bills because apparently they put down the wrong address for me (which must have happened towards the end of my time with them because I got several bills from them to the correct address for my first few appointments). I only found out about the June and July bills because they sent them to a collections agency. By that point, it was too late to submit the bills to my insurance. When I called them to ask about it, they acknowledged that they made a mistake and it was their error but now it was my problem and basically ignoring me when I tried to contact them further. In my opinion, only go to them if you have no other options because their service could only be described as terrible and incompetent.

My visit was thorough and efficient! I was in and out quickly, and Dr. Luckasen was trustworthy in his determination and decision to remove my suspicious mole. Thank you for easing my fears and being professional. (Parking at the 42nd Street location was easy once I figured out which building/floor I needed and how to get to the parking garage.)

Midwest Dermatology is amazing, especially Dr. Melissa Darling! She was able to help me and resolve my issue when no other doctor could or even wanted to try. She's knowledge, so nice, and very comforting to talk to. I definitely recommend her!

Unfortunately I had the worst experience at Midwest dermatology. I was charged $200 for going in to see if I had a wart on my foot. The spot turned out only to be a corn, yet the dermatologist offered nothing for me to help with the corn. They told me to get corn pads and charged me $200. This was not the care I was expecting and I wanted to share as this information may be helpful to others. If you are expecting this office to help you, they will not. They just charge $200 for a 15 min appt and no help.

There was no waiting. Everyone there was so friendly and kind - explaining what they were going to do. They asked questions and gave me time to ask mine. I never felt rushed. They told me when they thought something would hurt or burn and gave very good instructions on how to take care of the wound once I got home. I would definitely recommend them. Dr. Darling was very thorough and friendly.

Very good experience! I was happy Dr. Luckasen was able to do my melanoma removal at my first appointment since we had waited a month and a half to get in and had to drive 2 1/2 hours. It was very quick in and out but also very thorough. He answered all of our questions. And his nurse was awesome!! I was very leery going in but I was very happy with my outcome! Thank you Dr. Luckasen!!

My entire experience with Midwest Dermatology was positive. They got me right in at my appointment time. Everybody from the people at the front desk to the nurses and Doctor were very professional and took great care of me. I returned to the office after a week of healing following my surgery to get my stitches out. The incision on my face is healing so well and the incision is barely visible. I highly recommend Midwest Dermatology.
