Went to see New Pain Specialist Dr.Soares at Bergan Mercy off and the staff was so great, then you meet the Doctor and it's down hill from there. I met Dr.Soares and he's not professional at all, I have multiple disability problems not just one, and he's treating me as if I'm faking which I showed him the information from my chart of what I've all been diagnosed with and he acts like I'm faking my pain which I'm not and he's rude, saying cruel things, makes up lies. If you don't have to I really recommend going to someone else who actually looks into your record's and isn't rude or cruel by stuff he says about u and about names he calls you, he doesn't act professionally at all.

Very disappointed in this office. My mother has seen Dr. Soares for YEARS....and because she is a Medicare/Medicaid patient, she can't follow him to his new practice. So the Dr. who has 'absorbed' Dr. Soares Medicaid patients has REFUSED to see her because she is on opioid patient! How is this OK????? She looses her pain doctor and the Dr. that is supposed to be taking his patients refuses to see her???? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE!!!!!!

Dr. Soares staff lied to me about an epidermal shot I was supposed to get in my neck. Receptionist lied and was rude.

I've had numerous visits and never felt Dr Soares was willing to take time to help me. I also had 4 calls to his office that consisted of 3+ hours on hold! If you're a caring physician this would Not be acceptable

Dr. Soares has giving Me my life back, he created a pain treatment that allows me to handle daily life without so much excruciating pain! Thank you Dr Soares for saving my life!

Dr. Soares lied through his teeth about his treatment with my mother. He did nothing but talk down to her and yell at her. Then wrote in her file like he was some sort of God. OH and there was a test that was ordered and NEVER got the results. Fire him and take away his license. He's a quack!

Awful place!! The nurse and front desk were amazing but I was Dr. Soares. I honestly can’t believe that man is a dr. He was completely rude and just kept rudely asking what I was expecting from him. I left in tears, I’ve never dealt with a Dr so rude!! Please spare yourself and do not waste or time or money on this facility.

I have been going to Dr Soares for sevrral.years. I find him to be very caring. He has helped me tremendously. I have never had a bad experience with him. There are two sides to every story. I have heard patients to speak terrible to him. Just saying.

Best staff, every nurse and dr. Soares listened and helped improve my quality of life. I couldn’t be more thankful

Mom been going to soars for 36 months now and he hasn't even took the time to check her out terrible Dr i don't even consider him a doctor stuff was on point give them that Don't recommend any one not to go to him

This place took me over 5 months to get into. What a joke & a waste if time. These people, especially Dr. Soares uses your past against you. They judge you, and come up with every excuse in the book. I will NEVER refer anybody to this Doctor. I'm even switching all of my medical issues out if CHI indefinitely. I've been tested for a LOT of pain problems. I know what works and I know what does not. Therefore, why would this place try new meds when I already have all current medications that DO HELP? I'm not a guieny pig. 1st time ever seen by a pain specialist. NEVER AGAIN.
