Review
Update:
*
I
want
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
Dr.
Hernan
Hernandez,
MD.
For
His
time,
I
had
the
privilege
to
meet
and
work
together
to
attempt
to
address
my
overall
health
concerns.
He’s
genuine,
and
took
as
much
time
needed
to
go
over
every
detail
(of
course
you
get
charged
based
on
length
of
apt)
In
my
constant
struggles
I
have
faith
that
he
is
committed
to
doing
a
great
job.
*Update:
I
felt
the
overall
treatment
plan
from
day
one
and
each
time
i
went
in
to
see
him
was
a
different
plan
or
he
needed
to
talk
to
his
partners
and
then
come
back
and
say
well
this
is
what
we
are
thinking.
The
disappointments
come
as
the
lack
of
communication
from
his
team,
call
backs,
transferred
to
general
voice
mails.
They
would
say
my
calls
got
lost
or
transferred
somewhere
else.
After
my
procedure
in
hospital
surgery
they
used
a
topical
numbing
ointment
to
which
i
have
severe
allergic
reactions
to,
and
i
had
my
allergy
band
on,
documented
with
Dr,
anthesia
and
nurse.
Still
applied
almost
half
tube
to
surgical
sight
in
O
R
and
severe
reaction.
They
reaction
severe
pain
phone
calls
to
his
team
were
like
i
was
a
bother
and
short
with
me
and
my
wife
on
phone.
I
was
then
charged
for
a
followup
from
surgery
bc
it
was
outside
insurance
10
day
window
but
dr
hernandez
said
not
for
5-6
weeks.
So
i
learned
that
trick
behind
the
scenes
how
system
works
with
extra
charges.
The
office
does
not
call
you
about
apt
reminders,
they
told
me
i
was
late
upon
arrival
which
was
all
wrote
down
and
scheduled,
i
had
to
see
a
pain
specialist
bc
the
allergic
reaction
was
so
bad,
i
didnt
receive
an
apology
until
the
operations
manager
spoke
with
me
the
week
of
march
10th.
Surgery
was
back
in
December.
So
the
followup
was
not
covered
by
insurance
on
top
of
that
and
in
office
scope
exam
to
checking
healing
from
surgery
and
pain
i
was
charged
$600+
for
that
as
well
and
previous
times
when
he
wasnt
able
to
bc
of
pain
so
had
to
do
under
anthesia
but
guess
what
he
charged
me
the
scope
and
visit
sep.
ive
never
in
my
experience
and
i
moved
here
is
only
reason
i
switched
dr,
have
never
seen
charges
or
overall
operation
like
it
was.
And
yes,
i
agree
with
the
others
waiting
in
office,
nice
coffee
pots,
each
time
i
was
there
never
any
coffee
on.
It
just
seemed
very
unfriendly
in
waiting
room,
dont
go
out
of
their
way
for
small
talk.
I
will
add
no
followup
calls
were
done
by
methodist
or
dr
office
1-2
days
after
procedure
to
check
how
things
are
going
from
procedure.
Chi
always
called.
I
realize
it
was
pandemic
and
short
staff
but
they
always
followed
up.
My
last
visit
with
dr
hernandez
i
was
told
a
referral
to
pt
was
only
option,
that
he
knew
the
best,
to
expect
a
call
within
a
couple
business
days
for
an
apt.
Took
almost
1
month
to
receive
a
call
from
pt
to
which
i
have
already
found
someone.
I
will
add
thou
that
they
are
checking
into
the
situation,
the
billing
to
see
if
there
is
any
way
to
adjust
the
charges
that
they
are
charging
on
top
of
surgical
procedure.
Lastly:
I
cant
stress
the
importance
even
with
notifying
your
entire
surgery
team
wearing
allergy
band.
Make
sure
they
are
told
several
times
because
in
my
case
its
was
disregarded.
As
patients
constantly
remind
your
care
team
especially
if
its
something
common
they
use.
Im
confident
and
have
faith
it
will
get
better
with
time
at
their
office,
but
i
wanted
to
share
my
experience.
Just
because
i
had
a
different
expectation/experience
dont
mean
yours
cant
be
awesome!
