We
got
Brick
Street
Tavern
for
dinner
tonight.
I’ve
only
ever
had
their
drinks,
so
this
was
my
first
experience
with
their
food.
We
got
3
flavors
of
wings
-
garlic
parmesan,
teriyaki,
and
their
current
specialty
flavor
-
PB&J.
We
also
got
jalapeño
cheese
curds
and
an
individual
sausage
pizza.
The
sausage
pizza
was
meant
for
my
son,
but
actually
ended
up
being
our
favorite
of
the
items
we
ordered.
The
crust
was
really
crispy
on
the
outside,
while
chewy
and
soft
in
the
inside.
The
sauce
and
sausage
were
also
pretty
delicious.
I
wish
we
had
ordered
a
large.
It’s
a
wonder
that
Brick
Street
is
only
known
for
casual
beers
and
bar
food
when
this
pizza
is
so
good.
Maybe
it’s
the
adjacency
to
Bernie’s
that
underplays
it?
The
jalapeño
cheese
curds
were
a
typical
bar
food
appetizer
and
as
good
as
one
would
expect.
The
jalapeño
flavor
was
pretty
subtle,
and
tasted
almost
like
a
seasoning
rather
than
actual
jalapeños
in
the
curds.
The
wings
were
charred
nicely
and
very
tender
and
hot
for
carry
out.
What
really
undersold
these
next
to
the
tasty
pizza
were
the
flavors.
It
took
us
a
minute
to
decide
which
wing
flavor
was
which...
they
were
all
extremely
subtle,
almost
nonexistent.
The
PB&J
wings
in
particular
had
no
notes
of
jelly
and
only
a
hint
of
peanut
butter
taste.
They
tasted
like
naked
wings.
The
garlic
parm
wings
were
similar
-
just
a
hint
of
garlic
parm
flavor,
basically
another
naked
wing.
Out
of
the
three
flavors,
I
enjoyed
the
teriyaki.
They
had
the
most
sauce
and
flavor,
although
I
wished
they
had
a
bit
more
zing
to
them.
All
in
all
it
was
a
good,
filling
dinner
of
bar
food.
I
wouldn’t
get
the
wings
again,
but
I’d
love
to
go
back
to
try
a
large
pizza
with
additional
toppings.
Definitely
a
local
hot
spot
for
their
drinks
and
friendly
staff
over
anything.
Glad
to
have
them
in
Millard!
