Bouncer was upset because we asked him why he was letting people cut in line in front of us after we waited 30 minutes patiently. He proceed to intimidate us and say we were going to have “a bad night”. After I asked him what we did wrong he shoved and assaulted one of my friends. Nothing was done about that and we left, not a good place.

The worst bouncer ever, I waited in line for 20 min and he would let me in but not my boyfriend right behind me. He let 20 people in before me who didn’t wait in line but stopped accepting people once it got to my boyfriend. Would not recommend.

Worst experience ever. The bouncers were very discriminatory and disrespectful. I will never ever return to a place that treats my boyfriend (white male) the way this place does. Horrible.

Best service I’ve had in a long time. Young lady with long blonde hair(I think her name is Shelby) was such a help in finding the perfect drink for me. She went over their beers and drinks and steered me in the right direction! Such a help and even though she was busy, really took the time to make sure my experience was perfect! Definitely would recommend this bar to all my friends!

Music isn’t the problem here…. it’s the terrible service. I read the other review about the bar tenders and it couldn’t be more true. You’ll sit there patiently waiting and the bar tenders will literally ignore you as they continue to hand out free drinks and converse with their friends. The owner probably loses a good chunk of money this way since they’re treating the paying customers badly and hand out shots to their friends. Unbelievable that there isn’t someone behind the bar that leads the rest of the bar tenders. We ended up leaving and going next door, guy served us within 5mins. Check out the places around blackstone but this one is a mess. Also if the owner reads this…. I went Friday night (1/22) and the ladies in the neon outfits were the ones working….. please get better bar tenders and not ones that aren’t there to make money. You’re in a great location, music is great but the service is awful.

These reviews about the bouncers are SPOT ON and as someone with experience in hospitality management, DO NOT GO HERE!!! As we stood in line my friend pulled out his ID to have ready for the bouncer. The bouncer then responded with “no you ain’t going in yet” - okay fine whatever. But then, nearly 20 very young looking women who didn’t even wait in line, one with a pizza box in her hands walk right on through without so much as a full ID check. When we questioned it, he then said “I don’t like you’re attitude, you’re not coming in.” Okay Mr. Sensitive 🤣🤡. This place is not about making money, it’s about impressing young women and bouncers reliving their glory days (if there even were any to begin with) How the owner is okay with this, I’ll never understand. Gotta wonder how many of those young girls actually paid for their drinks 🤔🤔🤔.

Let me start by saying that the service was fine and this is a ownership/management complaint. Good luck getting booked to DJ dealing with Shelby. She has told me over and over again that they are booked for the month and she would reach out. Well that was a lie. She is the worst, unresponsive , and unprofessional bar manager that I ever dealt with and bar 39 should be ashamed of themselves keeping her on board. Now let me move on to Chad who is the GM. I brought this to Chad’s attention and all he said is we will get you in here. He gave me his card and told me to call or text him to see when I can come in. So we can all guess what happened Chad went ghost and never responded. So if you’re looking to business with these people i would stay far away from them and think twice. But if you want to work with unprofessional people then by all means. Also they let people do coke in the bathroom and their drinks are overpriced and not even that good.

Had a blast at Bar 39. The crowd was great and very energetic. As well, the bartenders kept up with the crowd. Highly recommend this bar if you are going out for a night on the town!

Absolutely love coming here. Mainly on the weekends when they have a live DJ. Music is always good, drinks and service too. Perfect place to dance the night away. Shoutout my favorite bartenders Taylor and Paige, you guys always rock!

Everytime I have been into Bar 39 has been an such a fun experience and great vibe, from the dance parties to playing skeeball. I also love their homemade cocktail concoctions. Shelby always knew what cocktail to make me!

The bouncers here are really aggressive about enforcing booths you can’t sit in. If there were signs or any other indication it might be understandable for them to bodily yank you out of your seat… but there isn’t.

Early Thursday evening. Cocktails after work. Calm. Long before the college crowd. Decent selection of drinks. Would go again.

NEW Hello, We were customers that wanted to enjoy bar 39. We were not rude, disrespectful, or conducting any unlawful behavior. Our friend was celebrating a birthday and not allowed in due to the discrimination of a bouncer across the street of Renos karaoke. We were respectful, waited in line, and didn’t cause any issues. We should have been allowed in & another regular who was more intoxicated was allowed in and hugged. Please make sure your bouncers are not discriminatory of others even when othebouncers are. I grew up in Omaha and visited recently after moving away ~five years ago. A lot of new bars have popped up since I’ve been gone, but this one is by far my favorite. Bartenders are awesome, atmosphere is great, great service. Would definitely recommend!
