Went during happy hour and had a delicious meal. I appreciate restaurants that have vegan options and great service

Great setting, and fantastic food. Service was great and knowledgeable. They use the QR codes for the ends which isn't really style, but you can still ask for a printed menu. Crab Rangoon were fabulous, and all the sushi was terrific. I think its probably best place in town for sushi. They also have a full menu of entree items you can order if sushi isn't your thing.

This is my favorite place. The drinks are the BEST here, the food is amazing, the people are so nice and friendly and good at their jobs. The prices can be considered high for some but if you come during happy hour most of the menu is half the original price. I don’t leave 5 star reviews very often but this place definitely deserves it. I come here at least once a week and everyone I’ve brought with me has become a regular customer too. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially if you love good drinks and sushi.

Loved this place. Everything about it feels fantastic. We were there for a colleague's birthday lunch and the food was so delicious. I ordered the Yaki Soba stir fried noodles and customized the spice level to my liking and it is exactly like I ordered. Service is top notch. Ambience is excellent. A bit pricey but well worth though. The portions could be a bit more. I will go back and try more options.

I love HIRO 88 but just had a terrible experience. I ordered take out, I drove and picked it up. Went home and my teriyaki beef was raw! I called and didn’t make a big deal but asked if I could just order something else and pick it up again. Not a single apology or anything by them. But, I still drove all the way back, picked up my broccoli shrimp and it was spilled in the to go bag and got all over. Not a good experience at all.

This was one dish, we ordered the BBQ pork buns and the thunder roll... the pork bun was not what we were used too but it was still good

My wife and I came here and had an amazing dining experience. We sat quickly, and Taylor offered outstanding service. We ended up eating 6 rolls in total with some miso soup and edamame. This place has a great atmosphere, plentiful wine selections, and the sushi was to die for. Would highly recommend and will definitely be dining again.

The sushi is always great. The lunch bento box is a great deal!! Severs are very friendly. They also have 1/2 price sushi on Sundays!! Highly recommend for great food !!! The pics are halfway through the meal.

We have been to Hiro multiple times, and it has always been great. The sushi was delicious, and there was a good variety to choose from. My daughter and I split 4 rolls and had extra to bring home, which she loved having as leftovers the next day. We will continue to keep this place as one of our sushi restaurant options.

Hiro is a gem for sushi in Omaha. The portions and pricing are reasonable, and even the pickiest eater of my group tried sushi for the first time and liked it! Definitely worth a visit!

Poor service. Incredibly long time between drinks, appetizers, and food. Staff noticeably overwhelmed. “Gluten free menu”…however everything cooked in same fryer with no respect for those with Celiac. The response given by the waiter…”well, how sensitive are you?”…incredibly inappropriate response. If it’s not entirely gluten free, do not advertise it.

I prefer lunch time as the wait fit a table is short to no wait and the sushi great! Helpful staff w good saki recommendations. The west location is superior to the one more downtown. Good old fashioned!

Absolutely love this place! I go here every week and it's always a treat. They have good options for sushi lovers and non-sushi lovers alike!

I'm certainly not a sushi expert, more of a steak kind of guy, but I thought it was excellent sushi. In fact wife ordered some to go so we could take it home and have it again the next day. Also, go between 10:00pm and midnight for some great prices off the late night "happy hour" menu.

The mackerel nigiri was the best I've had in a while and sea bass sashimi was a close second they even make a pretty good spicy broccoli beef I thought about making two stops but I was happy with what I got here. Do wish I could have made a to go order with the maitre d and came back to collect my order later but the glowing bar was cool enough while I waited.

The bacon jalapeno crab Rangoon is 🔥 the buffalo cauliflower is literally 🔥if you like spice in your life!!

Absolute favorite sushi restaurant in Omaha! My husband and I enjoy the Reverse Happy Hour times so we spend less than $40 on 5 sushi rolls and miso soup. Someone is always refilling water glasses. Someone is always around to pick up finished plates. Excellent customer service. We continue to return again and again!

I’m a longtime fan of this establishment but was extra impressed tonight! The bartender was on top of every refill and request without intruding, it was impeccable. The manager popped by for a moment and his demeanor and kindness were wonderful. On top of that, their Chilean Seabass is my favorite in town. Thanks for another great experience and nailing it tonight!

My boyfriend and I went here for his 20th Birthday! Kellie our waitress was very nice, food was delicious, and we even got a free slice of cake for his birthday! 10/10 !

This has become our favorite restaurant for sushi in Omaha, food is delicious, price is reasonable, and service is excellent, happy hour and reverse happy hour menu are fantastic. We have come here several times already and has become pretty much a mandatory stop for us on weekends, we haven't tried anything else besides makis and appetizers but so far everything has been delicious. Quite recommended if you are around and want to eat a great maki roll. P.D. Gyoza and crab rangoon are amazing as well.

Very impressed with this location. Staff were very professional. The atmosphere here is one of the best in my opinion compared to other Japanese dinning establishments. Very clean bar and tables. Food was amazing. Best philly roll I have ever tried. Smoked salmon is beyond delicious. Will deffintly be hitting this lactation up next time we visit Omaha.

My husband and I had a lovely evening here! The appetizers are delicious and creative, and the sushi is wonderful. Our waitress, Amelia, was incredibly kind and made this evening's experience truly special.

Great place to enjoy sushi. I brought my son for his birthday. First time trying raw octopus. It's an acquired taste. However, we enjoyed the Las Vegas roll, it's fried and delicious.

Great atmosphere! Excellent food! Everything tasted fresh and the special rolls were well worth the price. Under 150.00 after tip filled up three hard working tower climbers. Really nice server, classy environment. Very glad we were told about this place.

Went to the West Maple location tonight for my youngest niece's birthday, and overall it was a good experience. The food was amazing and delicious. Service was a bit slower than expected, but a lot of places are still understaffed. Food wise I ordered the Shrimp Tempura and Scallion Pancake appetizers. For the price the amount you get and the quality is fantastic. For the main course I had the Imperial Chicken, and for once a spicy dish actually made me have to tap. The chilis really give a great spice level. Overall I would order the dish again, and love the quality and presentation.

My wife and I love this place. We love Blue as well but if we want to have a nice quiet dinner at a place where we can actually talk and enjoy the atmosphere—this is the place. I saw a couple other reviews in here complaining about the service but we've never had a bad experience with the staff. Of course, the sushi always takes longer than we would like but to the chefs this is art and it always tastes and looks great so well worth any wait. Updated. Place has never disappointed us. Went there last night with the kids. Great time, great service and great food. We were pigs last night. They brought a boat for three of us. 😂

We love the food here. The biggest issue with this place is their website. I had $200+ worth of food for a big group in my cart, and the Hiro 88 online ordering system wasn’t programmed to scroll properly in an iphone browser. Completely canceled my order and used a different restaurant’s website. It might be good to revamp your online ordering system so people can actually add and checkout their cart items. We couldn’t even see the “checkout” option in the cart.
