😠 Worst burger spot in Omaha. Double cheeseburger was terrible, fries looked like they scraped crumbs out of the fryer and threw them into a bag. Greatly regret my decision to try this place out. People often mention fries, burger, good, order, great, drink, burgers, Broncos, long, location,

Visited this place on our recent trip to Omaha. My Mother has shared stories of her college days eating Bronco burgers so we just had to stop by. We had a late lunch of burgers and fries. Everything was great. Clean place with great staff. Will def be back!

Only went here cause it’s close to home but i regret giving it a try. Food taste no better then sonic and the burgers are so tiny for being expensive as they are. No gloves on over half of the teenage staff no hair nets with every single person having long hair. Heard several of the workers cursing for no reason, glad I didn’t bring my kids in. Would not recommend to anyone if your willing to spend this much on food, go somewhere way better this place is trash

.... My double cheeseburger had way to much onions and made my burger taste like onions and cheese no meat flavour cheesy flavour and the size of the burger was like a size for a kid not an adult...... The bun is like a mc double same thing it was plain and for 5.47 not worth it .

Waited in a very long line. Ice in my drink was melted, fries was cold, and my burger patty was thinner than McDonald’s. 10.99 per meal and I got three of them. I don’t remember broncos being like this. Very disappointed……

I have enjoyed Broncos for years. Used to be my favorite place in Omaha to grab a burger. Unfortunately I can not say that anymore. The size of the burgers is half what it used to be and costs twice as much. I understand the conomy has something to do with that but whats most disappointing is the quality of the service. I usually visit the 48th and Leavenworth location and the staff acts as if I'm bothering them everytime I'm there. Today I visited the drive thru and ordered a meal with a Coke for the drink. When I arrived at the window the lady shouted a dollar amount, grabbed my card, handing me a drink and shut the window. I noticed the drink was either water or Sprite. When she came back, she opened the window, handed me a receipt and I told her that I didn't have a coke. She looked , stated it was a sprite and shut the window again. She came back handed me my meal, handed me the new drink and shut the window again. I just don't understand how friendly customer service is so hard for people these days.

Old fashioned good food. Hand breaded pork fritter was good and my husband liked his burger. Waffle fries were crispy and onion rings too. Good taste and a good value! 4 booths i side and 3 or 4 outside tables.

Grew up eating here. Love this place. Hands down, best burger and fries in Nebraska if you like mustard and onions standard on your burger. Don't sleep on any other meals as well. Whole menu is always good and fresh. Can't go wrong

Great food. Service is a bit lackluster portions kinda small. Took quite a while to get the order out, too. Will continue to support them though 😊 my "large" onion rings? Give me a break.

My husband and I went here for lunch today at 11:30 and our hamburgers looked as if they had been stepped on. I asked for mustard and I got the smallest amount of mustard known to man. Terrible. We will not be going back. Pathetic.

Was really disappointed with our food tonight. We ordered to burgers and fries. The gal who took the order was really nice and repeated the order patiently to ensure it was right. We sat in line for a very long time before getting our food. Unfortunately when we got home to eat it we were very disappointed. The burgers were slapped together with lettuce everywhere, the meat halfway in the bun, and the buns smooshed. The fries were as if they were fried for only moments very limp and extremely cold with no salt. On the bright side this was the first time they actually got the entire order right. Overall disappointing.

Great food! Employees know what they are doing. They move customers along in a very efficient manner. Orders are taken the second you walk in the door. Food was fresh, hot, and yummy! The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming, warm, friendly, and positive. Broncos is one of the BEST fast food restaurants in this town!!

Broncos is a classic burger stand, not seeming to have changed at all in the two decades I spent in Omaha. And it doesn't have to because it's great. The food is always good, the patty melt is great and they have some of the best fries you can get. If you haven't tried Henry's Frankenburger, DO IT BEFORE IT'S GONE! Delicious!

I've been here all my life and I've came to this restaurant every 5 years or so and it's always the same... Troublesome looking employees and environment, old time hangout without the good vibes. I think I'll make this my last trip. We just have way too many better options in town. For the price anyone who can say it ain't better than a restaurant around the corner, cmon

This location just doesn’t do it anymore. Feels like the cooks just don’t care anymore. I got a big pony a couple weeks ago and it was just a soggy sad mess, and my fries were limp and soggy. I’ve tried more than a few times, the last few years here. But no, this location just doesn’t care anymore it feels like. Much more worth it to go to the one out west in my opinion.

I stopped in and ordered a double cheese burger 🍔, 🍟 fries and a large drink. When I was called to the counter to pick up my food I grabbed my tray and went back to my table. My double cheese burger 🍔, looked like it had been run over by a semi going down I-80. It was flat, cheese all over the wrapper and not on the burger. The only good thing about my experience was the staff was very friendly, so they definitely have that going for them.

Got the Big Pony Meal. Burger was good and I like that it came with fresh lettuce and tomato. I thought their sauce was a little too sweet and the fries were underdone. I really REALLY wish they would switch away from Styrofoam containers. There are many good biodegradable options now. I won't go back as long as they use Styrofoam.

I’ve never been to Broncos before and when I pulled up to order they drive thru I let the girl know I’d be just a minute cuz I’ve never been to Broncos and just needed to look at menu. She was very rude and was snotty the whole time. I order #2 no pickle or onion and she’s like only mustard? I’m like I’m idk what comes on it I just need no pickle or onion. Very rudely asked what the drink was. Then said what else do u want extremely rudely. I’m said I’m sry I’m taking so long I’m just looking to see what I want. She was very impatient and unprofessional. I’m a manager at a fast food place and I could never treat customers the way she did. The other lady, I’m assuming the manager, was very nice and kind and she gave us an extra fry for the wait and to make sure they were all fresh, but the young lady there needs some customer service training. Location was 4540 leavenworth

Ordered tenderloin no pickle in a combo. I got a plain tenderloin with nothing on it. The fries were rather large order, however I like my fries somewhat crispy. These fries were greasy and limp soggy fries. Like the grease wasn't close to hot enough or something. All in all not at all a good experience. If I ever try again I will skip fries and try a burger.

I used to love it as a kid but as I got older I realized how bad these burgers are; not necessarily the flavor, but just how greasy it is. I could not finish it it felt like bread soaked in grease. I had to shower as soon as I was able after eating here. It has great nostalgia and has been around for a very long time so even though it is not the best to me anymore I still recommend it. It is a staple you have to try at least once, and if you like it then you like it! I haven't been back since but to tell you amount of grease on the burger it was soaking through the bag and nearly ripping from how wet it was. With places this iconic though you have to go at least once!

I feel like Broncos is an Omaha Staple! It's been amazing since I was a kid which is definitely what makes it Nostalgic, but something about it has changed. The food just isn't the same anymore. Service was Great though.

Ordering was drive-through only. When visiting from out of town, it's not convenient. Thought we would order and take it back to our hotel. Once we opened our bags, one burger was missing. Inconveniently needed to return for our missing item. Food was excellent and generous. But check your order before leaving!

I wasn't sure what "Self-Service Drive In" means, but apparently it just means that they have parking for like 30 cars, but only have indoor seating for 4 parties. So, you order at the counter and then carry it out to your car to eat it. There are no "car hops" to bring it to you and no microphone at each parking spot so you can order from your car. There is a drive-thru and that seems to be what most people choose to do The drive-thru makes more sense than their "self-service drive-in" concept. lol I usually patronize the one at 120th & Pacific and it's more of a dine-in location. The food is what you expect from Bronco's. It's a locally-owned fast food burger concept with only a couple of locations. The food is good and fairly priced. I keep it simple with a hamburger and an order of their tasty fries. The interior is small. Two cash registers to order at, a self-serve soda fountain, and four booths. Restroom is located outside on the rear of the building. There's a couple of outdoor tables back there too. There are no self-serve condiments in the dining room. You have to ask for them. There is a drive-thru too. All of the inside tables were dirty on my visit. Nobody was siting at any of them. Just dirty from previous customers. Employees were chit-chatting and openly engrossed in their phones. I presume there was some sort of manager or supervisor on duty, but they're obviously the permissive sort. The employees also like to park sideways across multiple parking spots. I'm not sure why that's allowed. Perhaps they struggle so hard at keeping the place staffed that whoever they do manage to hire is allowed to do whatever they want so long as they keep showing up for work. I'm not sure that's a recipe for success. I have a hard time imagining that whoever founded and ran this place in the 1950s would approve of how it's run today.

I’m a burger fanatic who is open to trying almost anything between a bun. I had always seen Bronco’s as a spot worth trying, someday. When that day came, I was quite disappointed. For an expensive burger, it wasn’t all that great. The meat had very little flavor and the fries were extra soaked in oil. The burger was enveloped in barbecue sauce, but still couldn’t be saved. The drink was great, but as far as the food goes, there are things that need to be improved.

Food here is always on point. Visiting from Denver with my family, thanks for making their first experience here great. We'll be back!! :)

This place has gone downhill in recent years, not only in terms of quality of food is concerned but also the quality of customer service. It would help if they hired and trained better people at how to treat customers who choose to visit their establishment. I also found some kind of dead insect embedded in their ice coming from their ice machine, so I wound up drinking my fountain drink with no ice. Stale Hamburger, low qualith employees and insects inside the Ice. Not good.

Old, outdated. Presented as a greasy burger joint, patties were thin and not greasy. The shredded lettuce over-powered the other flavors. Onion rings and fries were great! Raspberry cheesecake pie was also excellent.

No one else there. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and kids' chicken strips. 19 mins later, I got my food. 1 lady was in there doing it all while the three younger kids stood up front talking to each other. They have went down hill bad at this location.

  • 1/5 Kenleigh F. 9 months ago on Google
Staff is very rude! When you ask for ketchup they shouted out “it’s at the end of the counter” when there literally is no ketchup to be seen by ANYONE in the place. The gentleman that was working the counter was new and the other staff members were not willing to help him. There is NO seating, 4 booths total. They are just completely rude.

Absolutely love this place! The food is always great as well as the service. The employees always are working fast and efficiently when I go through the drive through.

Normally I love coming here but today was my first ever bad experience! The burgers weren't as good as they normally are, and the fries were terrible! Over cooked and hard like they had been sitting there all day, and this was during lunch rush. I threw them away because they were so bad!

  • 5/5 D 1 year ago on Google
Great food. I ordered the fried chicken for the first time. It was decent. It wasn't too greasy. They were all out of the pieces I prefer, however. The individuals in the front seemed annoyed that I came in to order.

Came thru the drive thru since this Broncos has almost no place to sit. HORRIBLE food tonight. Burgers were totally unseasoned, tasteless, no condiments, tiny piece iof lettuce, a a bit of cheese. Add a bun flat, stale and hard. Looked like the sandwich had been stepped on! So disgusting we ended up pitching the majority of the combo meal and the SOB in the trash!!!! Not a good value if you end up spending over $22 and are hungry bc it was inedible! Rip off. Food has been going downhill at this location for the last year. Leavenworth Street on Omaha. We kept giving this location a second chance and a 3rd. I guess the folks in charge have stopped caring. We used to love Broncos but I'm sorry, we are finished.
