West Omaha, NE. From tea in a porcelain teapot to bubble tea with popping boba, the Tea Smith celebrates all things tea. You can shop for tea ware and loose leaf tea, get a drink and a baked goods item to go, or you can sit awhile and do remote work in their wonderful tea room. I had the red guava bubble tea with lychee popping boba. It was refreshing and tasty. I like my bubble tea a scoshi less sweet but my husband said it was perfect.

The tea smith is amazing! We come here every week and love trying different combos. Their Green apple summer snow is amazing, would recommend.

Revisited the tea shop. Some of the staff is excellent. Others I found a bit less welcoming. They have some new interesting things such as a spicy popping boba. They do cuppings as well. $160 will do it for 10 people. They also recently partnered with coneflower ice cream to do affogatos (one time event) _____ Previous review: Nice tea shop with a good assortment of teas. They have free samples to try in store and you can order tea to go. Interaction with staff was limited that day. I do like that they have a membership program. Included a picture of the details in my review. It's not close enough for me to want to buy, but if I did live closer I would definitely consider it!

Fun tea shop with a wide selection of loose leaf tea, tea accessories, and tea drinks. Got the maple banana pancakes tea latte and waited a little too long for it. One of the staff members realized that my drink was forgotten and quickly made it. Despite the long wait, the drink was delicious! 🍌 Not sure if I'll be back again; maybe when the shop is somewhat empty and they aren't rushing through making drinks.

I love The Tea Smith! I go there most afternoons for about two hours -- to write. Wonderful staff (The Tea Smithies!), delicious tea, and a nice assortment of goodies to go with the tea.

Came here on a Thursday at around 7PM craving maybe fruit tea with tapioca or milk tea. We’ve never been here before so we didn’t know what to expect at all. Came in and it smelled really good! The lady who helped us was really nice and had a nice short convo. We’re not really hot tea people, but would definitely come back AND RECOMMEND for milk and fruit teas.

Great tea selection, helpful staff, and the boba has never been gross and soggy. I drink the China Jasmine most mornings, it's wonderful.

Tea Smith is my go to for loose leaf tea in Omaha. There’s an endless selection of classics and fun flavors. Staff are knowledgeable and provide great customer service. I highly recommend getting a two-cup pot to stay (to share with a friend or enjoy by yourself) and enjoying the cozy atmosphere. Great spot to do a bit of reading or work.

The Tea Smith in Omaha, NE is hands down my favorite tea shop and cafe in the midwest. The teas they brew are outstanding. There is always a vast selection of teas for purchase or to have them brew. They even have seasonal and monthly teas to try in shop! The cafe is relaxing and comfortable. There is ample parking too. They have a shop as well for all of your brewing needs. They even have afternoon tea accoutrement! If you're looking for a delightful change from your local coffee shop routine, give The Tea Smith a try! You will not be disappointed.

It’s a good day for tea! Is what you’ll hear as you walk into this shop especially on a cold and rainy day like today. Large selection of teas! They make their own tea bags if you need it to go as I did while waiting for an Uber ride. And, they had my favorite Lapsang Souchong! It tasted wonderful even if it steeped a little over 5 minutes!

I absolutely love The Tea Smith! and not because I am a Smith. The employees are the kindest most knowledgeable people I know and they have the best, most fresh tea around! Their boba tea is just fantastic and they have so many flavors! Seriously, the only tea shop I go to!

I love coming here to work or study with a great cup of tea. Usually I opt for a hot tea, but their bubble teas are good too!

I ordered my loose tea online and it was ready in a day. The Tea Smith always gets my order together quickly and the tea is always amazing. I’ve never gotten any quick grab food items but the lychee jasmine tea with boba is my favorite drink to order in the store!

This is one of my favorite places to take friends when they are in town. The staff is incredible, the atmosphere is the best, and I have NEVER had a tea that I did not like--and I drink a lot of tea! Their cookies are pretty tasty too!

Have been coming to the Tea Smith since they opened their first shop and I think their tea is terrific. While I love a number of their teas I really enjoy their rooibos tea and purchase it in quantity every few months. Drink it almost everyday. Very happy to have them here in town and suggest you stop in to give them a try. Don't think you'll be disappointed.

I love going to the tea smith shop. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the many varieties of tea. Plus they always seem to be enjoying working there. And who wouldn't want to work there? The atmosphere is inviting and calming. Great store, great service, great teas!

There is a wide variety of teas from niche ones for long time tea lovers to high quality standard and less intimidating teas for people more new to tea. The staff on the whole is friendly and willing to answer any questions one may have. They make a concerted effort to get to know their patrons. The owner is often frequently around and very kind. Also, I have found the environment of the shop to be an amazing place to study, do work, or chat with friends. The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is calm. Music enjoyable but quiet. I adore Tea Smith and the Tea Smith community. A local small business gem.

Just passing through but figured we'd stop in and grab a tea to go, the staff is so friendly and the selection is great, their menu provides a lot of good information on the teas provided as well. Wish we had more time to spend here.

the staff! all of them, so kind and warm when you walk in. The tea is delicious but they are why I keep coming back. drink suggestion: Thai milk tea with tapioca and brown sugar syrup and flavor (& a shot of match if you're feeling spicy) ❤️

I love going into the Tea Smith. Katie was a breath of fresh air and was fast and efficient. They have an variety of excellent teas and brewing accessories available as well as tasting events and special sales. I especially loved the scones with clotted cream and jam event, and hope they make it permanent!

Excellent selection and prices. The staff is always patient and very helpful. I love flipping through the sample sizes to find new teas to try. This is my favorite place to buy loose leaf tea in the metro area. If you go soon, be sure to try the seasonal lavender limoncello drink. It was spectacular!

As I walked in, the aroma of delicious tea welcomes me. The set up is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The service is quick, and friendly. Great place to run away to and relax. Their selection of tea is great. My children and I went in for their boboa tea, and we're very satisfied. Would definitely recommend this place. A little pricey but we'll worth it.

Always very helpful staff. Amazing diversity of tasty teas and tisanes in bulk, including sample sizes. Helpful loyalty program. Quality tea pots, sets, ice tea makers. Seating area to enjoy the various teas and drinks made in the store. Online ordering is available for delivery or pickup.

Love this place & all their teas! I have drank the same tea for as long as the Tea Smith has existed - sweet pomegranate green tea. I’ve tried teas from everywhere and nothing compares! I was introduced to loose leaf teas w the tea 101 class from Tim Smith & learned so much & gained appreciation for good loose leaf tea. The store is a super cool atmosphere & all the staff (including the owners) super friendly! Five stars and beyond!

I have gone here a few times to do homework or just to get some tea and all times have been amazing :-) I have a friend who works here that introduced me to her co workers and they are all lovely people. They are always happy to answer my questions and taste test new products. I also highly recommend their matcha. They get it straight from the province it was harvested in and I feel it is nicely priced for its size. All of their baked goods are also nicely priced (at the time I am writing this it is around 1 dollar, and I've seen less quality selling for 5!) The shop itself is really cute, and even with their big amount of products you can buy (mugs, whisks, etc.) there is still a lot of open space for everyone to relax and enjoy their tea in. A very good place to go for tea! :-)

As a non-coffee drinker I love having a place to visit dedicated to tea :-) I enjoy sitting down for a pot, getting a cup to go or refilling my stash of loose leaf tea. Everyone is always friendly, able to make recommendations, and seems to genuinely be happy to be there.

My partner and I have been coming here consistently for almost 3 years now, and I could not be happier with our experience. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. My favorite tea (applejack festival) is now served year round, and the Boba is always good. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff; special shoutout to our besties Monty & Katie.
