Mouth watering decadence. Staff was super nice and helpful. My boyfriend never liked any sushi I made him try before. He LOVED this. We will be returning.

It's hard to describe how awesome the dining experience is at Koji. We had several of the Yakotori dishes, chicken thigh, curry chicken, chicken breast with green onion. All so delicious.

Amazing service paired with incredible and unique dishes! Tried all Bao buns and they were fantastic. Hand rolls and maki rolls were fresh, and the Bolo and Korn hot plates were a hit. Cannot wait to come back.

We really loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. Intimate, not too loud, and laid back. It was perfect for a date night! I only had one photo of the food because we ate the others so quickly. The food was delicious! We had two rolls and some smaller dishes. The only issue was the seaweed was a bit chewy. The two drinks we tried were good but strong. Overall we would definitely be going back!

This is a gem. There's a very high level of craft here at this traditional styled yet modern Japanese eatery. They have a wide assortment of small plates and it's the type of place where you order 3-5 different things for yourself. Everything I had was great but I must recommend an order or three of the yakatori, it's like a mini kabob of meat thats masterfully grilled and very traditional. Also go for the sake here, they have some amazing stuff in that regard and if you've tried sake in the past and didn't like it definitely give it another shot with one of the better ones here.

Today, Mr. Morgan (my boss) invites me to have a lunch with him. This is small restaurant but clean and neat inside and also very good place to go. They have delicious foods and all of them very good tastes. I love each dish with different taste and delicious too. We had a wonderful time and discussed many things about his businesses in Omaha and Lincoln too. Their services are really good and wonderful experiences with all the staffs here too! I recommend this to any one whom interested in Japanese food.

I’m a big fan of Yoshitomo in Benson, so I was super excited to check out Koji with friends. The smell of the grill permeates the entire restaurant, igniting the senses even before your first bite. Of course, the sushi is fresh and exceptional, but the grilled offerings were outstanding! I tried the tako (octopus) and it was so tender, smoky and flavorful I almost didn’t grab a picture. I also tried one of my friend’s chicken meatballs and I will definitely get some skewers of my own next time; and trust me, there will be a next time 🍣

We enjoyed the definitely unique taste. The sushi and appetizers were fresh and flavorful. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We will return for sure!

My recent visit to Koji Restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. It was, without a doubt, the best sushi experience I've ever had. I'm eagerly looking forward to visiting their Yoshimoto location to see if they can top this experience. The atmosphere at Koji added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. The decor and ambiance were thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming environment that enhanced our dining experience. Our waitress deserves a special mention for her outstanding service. She was not only fantastic in her attentiveness but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu. She provided excellent recommendations and was able to answer all our queries with insightful details, adding a personal touch to our meal. (Forgot her name- sorry! Blonde longer hair with glasses) In summary, my visit to Koji Restaurant in Omaha was an amazing experience. The superb quality of sushi, the delightful atmosphere, and the exceptional service have set a new benchmark for me. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

At first when you walk in, you are instantly immersed in the dark and warm interior. The dining room is small and intimate with a small sushi bar to the left. This would be a great place for a romantic or intimate dinner. Their menu is thoughtful and concise. They offer appetizers, small plates, chicken skewers, nigiri and maki rolls (traditional sushi). We ordered the koji (cucumber salad), the chasu bun, and the shishito peppers to start. They all had incredible flavor and were presented beautifully. The chasu bun was delicious but we were not a huge fan of the meat’s texture. Our favorite of the three was definitely the cucumber salad. For the main dish, I ordered the Royale maki roll. This roll has spicy salmon, cucumber, crab, avocado, soy chili aioli, ponzu, & sambal salsa on top. It was a burst of flavors! The service was so great. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely be coming back to try all of the other maki rolls!

Food was amazing! Sat at the bar and got to watch the magic happen. Skipped the roll this time to get better variety, but will be trying that and the buns next time.

Very nice. Order a wide array of dishes for the best experience. Staff was very helpful bringing first timers up to speed in the various dishes. For a couple, I would recommend sitting at the bar. Poor man's theater watching the staff preparing dishes. Best chance for a search on a walk in is bar seating.

Food and service were great. Making a reservation via Google maps was a breeze. I would highly recommend this spot.

One cook made very good food, immaculate. The other one blasted our dish with butane a centimeter away from the food so it tasted funky. Very sad day.

This place!! Omg!! My new favorite restaurant! The atmosphere, staff, and food are just amazing! I love their buns, you have to try them! The Ranza is always good and I tried the KFC one at my last visit and so flavorful! I’m not a spice person but it had the perfect amount of spice. Also, the buttered wagyu is to die for! Anything you get here is guaranteed to be great quality food! The servers are always super kind and helpful with recommendations!

Every bite was special and out of this world! Excellence attentive service with great recommendations! Quiet restaurant where you can actually talk to each other and not shout over loud music.

My husband and I have been wanting to try Kohi for awhile. We love Yoshitomo and thought it was awesome that they opened a restaurant with a grilled meats focus. Wow did they not disappoint. The food was full of umami and the service was just amazing. Highly recommend to get a seat at the bar to watch the action take place and to get your food fresh fresh. *Bonus that it's a lot easier to find parking here than in Benson haha

Absolutely incredible. We walked in on a Sunday evening and were immediately sat in Koji’s beautiful, dimly-lit dining room. The restaurant is very small so I would suggest calling ahead or making a reservation during peak hours. Our server Nova was amazing; she was so friendly and personable, and gave us great menu recommendations and suggestions for other places to check out while we were in town. We had a variety of yakitori, wagyu nigiri, the KFC buns, and my boyfriend tried a sushi roll with shrimp. Everything was presented beautifully and the flavor combinations were perfectly executed. Do not come here expecting to stuff yourself full on mediocre food; Koji is a unique tasting experience on par with the Bay Area dining scene. My only disappointment is that we don’t live close enough to come here more often.

I am so excited to have gotten to try this place and cannot wait to go back. It is beautiful, delicious, everything! I did not take enough photos at all because I was so caught up in enjoy all of the food, but I got a few. Go and Try it, it’s all fantastic!
