    I might have to reevaluate my position on robots. I was against them replacing jobs but now I may have to reconsider. I think this place like many other places are starting to fill up with people who can barely stand to be there. It seems like these people would rather be entertained than putting a good day's work. The sense of urgency seems to be lost with them. Back in the early 90s I was in fast food myself and being able to make 10 sandwiches in a minute was not that big of a deal. I don't know where it went wrong or what got lost. I did not get paid enough either when I worked in fast food but I was still motivated to serve a paying customer out of decency and respect. I remember it sometimes being a competition with other employees on how well we could do our job. I have been trying to eat out less and less because of situations like this. The food is really expensive and the service is horrible. I don't think you can pay them $100 an hour and it would make any difference. Could you imagine the reaction if you send to one of these people "if you have time to lean you have time to clean"? That would probably hurl an expletive at you or probably quit or both. Bring on the robots.

    3:30 in the afternoon, and the lobby is locked... 11/06/23 Update: Tried the drive through at 8:10 pm and nobody responded to me for over 8 minutes. I finally drove around to the windows and saw two employees cleaning up as if they were closed. Hours on Google show 10pm closing time.

    I gave one star cause the food was ok. But this by far the worst staffed restaurant I've been to in omaha. They close early do to staffing issues. Their employees are rude and impatient. Most of the employees look like the don't won't to be there. This is a prime example of when a restaurant needs to close for a couple weeks or month and fire everyone and rehire a new crew.

    Stopped by Wendy's for a burger and to get a Pumpkin Spice cold brew for National Coffee Day. I ordered at the checkout but was told I'd have to order from the app to get the NCD deal. Downloaded the app, created an account, selected my items, and it didn't register the drink deal. Went back to the counter and spoke to the manager, who put my order in, which still didn't register at the sale price, so he just discounted my order the difference. For the pics: I'm not sure what liquid was on the chair, but it wouldn't look like this if they had someone clean the dining area. Oh sure, it was only on the lid, but I don't like someone else's hair any anywhere near my food.

    "Quality Is Our Recipe", I guess Wendy's meant this to be ironic, or maybe a threat? If you're going to turn out food with far lower quality than a gas station, it might be time to reevaluate your priorities. Everything was cold, the powdered gravy water was hardly mixed, and as you can see the lovely sausage crumble was the comedic icing on this laughable entree.

    At 3:17pm, on 10-17-23, I came through the drive through and ordered a regular hamburger without salt. When the lady handed my order to me, she had a friendly smile on her face. To top it off, my little burger was hot! I am very satisfied.

    Drive thru was very slow at 1130...about 8 to 10 min wait with 2 cars in front of me. 10 min wait per vehicle for almost all of us. Asked for a receipt and never gotten one. Then the guy at the last window told me he couldn't get me one. Disappointing. Food was made right, but the fries were warm, not HOT. Maybe I'll come back in a couple more months.

    I went to go get dinner ordered online and says closes at 7pm I was there at 615pm and nobody was there?? Like what. Fast food places close at 6pm weird

    Dining room was closed. Drive thru only had about 5 cars in front of me but took me 25 minutes to get my food. Food was wrong and only luke warm. I don't have time to get back in line. Burger wasn't cooked all the way, still very pink/red inside. I was afraid to eat it. I ordered a plain baked potato with butter. Got no butter, no salt or pepper, either. I didn't look at their reviews until after, now I know I shouldn't have gone here. I'll never go back to this store.

    This location randomly closes the dining area for hours at a time by locking the doors with no sign. Order is always missing something through drive-thru. Do not recommend!

    The lobby is never open! Took 30 minutes in drivethough with 6 cars in front of me. Food good, prices fair, staffing not the greatest. I wish they would find a way to run it better. The demand is there.

    The lobby of every Wendy's is still closed. 1 for atmosphere! It took 20+ minutes to get through the line (we were 3rd in line). After sitting for 5+ minutes I asked for a straw because I was thirty. "You will get one in your bag..." reluctantly giving me one! Okay 1 for service! 6 nuggets were fresh & 6 were re-warmed. However, the rest of the order was correct. Only 3 stars because of time & inconsistencies in nuggets! It's better than 72nd St in Omaha. During lunch, we were told (I kid you not) "We'll be with you when we can; we are in the middle of shift change" Wendy's used to be a staple of good food & now it takes an hour to get it anywhere in town! Pay your people better! You'll make more money. Believe it or not... "Dine in" shouldn't be an option for them if the dining room is NEVER open.

    Stopped to pick up chili for a friend in the hospital today and there was a long line at the drive-through so I don't mind getting the exercise and decided to pop into the lobby to pick it up inside and save time--The door was locked in the lobby was closed so maybe they think it's Covid season again? They can't find employees? Then pay them a higher wage! Today I waited 25 minutes to pick up one order of chili and I only waited because it was for a friend in the hospital that specifically asked for chili from Wendy's. I could've made chili myself at my house in less time than it took to drive all the way to Wendy's and wait in line to pick it up. Very exasperating experience and one more reason to stick to Arby's and Taco Bell by my house.

    Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, seemed like they only had one and it cut it in half to make up both of my sandwiches. Very dispointed with the help I had received after I called and said they couldn’t do anything about it. My medium fries were also half filled. Told them I would get in contact with someone and all I got was “looking towards it”. 10/22/2023 @3:00 pm

    Normally I wouldn’t bother putting a review on anything, but, this location has absolutely gone down hill. They are beyond slow, the employees are rude and pretty much incompetent of doing their jobs, this is most likely due to a bad management. If it wasn’t for Wendy’s in general having good food, this location wouldn’t exist… this location is surviving off the fact that it’s a busy area. The location sucks to go to for food… it’s not fast what so ever. It sucks even more as a door dash. You can wait in line for 25 minutes just to pick up a door dash order. This is the only place I’ve ever reviewed because normally I wouldn’t go out of the way, I’m also an easy to please person, but this place is horrible. (This location specifically, 12730 L Street)
