This is a really hard review to write because we have been here MANY times in the last 10 years and had great experiences, but Mother's "lunch" was absolutely abysmal, which feels like poor planning/management for the holiday. We had reservations for 12:45, which had been scheduled a week in advance. We arrived at 12:30 and were told they were significantly delayed. We were seated at 1:15. Our server was pleasant and prompt to greet us and take our drink orders. After that it was pure down hill. Our drinks took FOREVER to get from the bar. Our server did not return to take our food order for a while, and when we did order, our food did not arrive to our table until 2:50pm - 2 hrs after our reservation time. There were items missing from our order which we asked for - we were brought the miso soup for one person but another never received their side of garlic bread. The kids meals were cold, the whipped potatoes were over cooked, and the pasta had clearly been sitting/drying out for a while. The sushi was great as always (and the only reason I didnt give it 1 star) but not worth 2 hrs of waiting. Our bill before tip was $250 and absolutely not worth it. Extremely disappointed and unlikely to return.

The food quality have gone down by soo much the past few times i went here. The macadamia chicken was so dry, and tasteless, the mashed potToes were terrible, i cannot stress how bad everything was here. They have raised the price by $10-15 on everything on the menu yes the food quality is still terrible

We visited on a Thursday night. Table service was slow and the bar was extremely slow. It took us 20 minutes to get our first order of drinks. The food arrived first. The waiter did comp the drinks, but set a bad start for dinner. The margarita flight was good. The steak was good, as well as sushi, but the various potatoes were plain.

Still a good place for happy hour, but used to be better. The selection of happy hour sushi is now very limited, although they did add more menu items. The lettuce wraps are still really good. BBQ pizza flatbread is also a great option. Overall it's still a place I recommend.

The only good thing about this place is the sushi or the starters. We ordered a bunch of dishes off the main menu that came out cold and unappetizing. Our waiter was either angry at us the whole time She wasn't talking directly to us or had resting b**** face.

Grace D gave us a fabulous experience during an impromptu happy hour at Kona Grill on Thursday night. She was very busy, but made us feel totally welcome, and took care of us exceptionally well. We enjoyed a chicken, flatbread and sliders along with margaritas. Everything was well prepared and very flavorful. Would totally go back again. One side of the restaurant has long windows that open to the outdoor courtyard mall, offering a unique ambience.

It was Friday evening, I'd say around 7ish so walking in the hostess let me know that it would be about a 25 minute wait which was understandable. Surprisingly enough the wait time was actually shorter. Once we were seated our waitress was amazing. She was super friendly and made sure we understood the menu and even made some suggestions to make our dining experience better. We started with the margarita flight which came recommended from our waitress and it was good. A tad bit on the sweeter side however, they definitely packed a punch for how small they were. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare with a side of mashed potatoes and I even had the surf and turf upcharge to add a shrimp and lobster roll on the side. My dish alone was about $40. When my steak arrived it came with some green beans that were undercooked & bland. Thinking my potatoes were probably still being whipped up I decided to try my steak. As I was cutting into the steak, it felt like I was trying to cut into a leather shoe. For whatever reason my steak was super tough and I don't see how you manage to do so with a ribeye cut. To no surprise when I checked the middle it was cooked about medium well. To add insult to injury the steak was as bland as the color beige. I just don't understand how you miss all three categories on a $32 ribeye steak. The shrimp and lobster roll was actually not bad. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it tasted like straight dog food. You know when you're opening your dogs' food and you smell it and your mouth can taste it? Yeah that's what that pad Thai tasted like. Between the tough, bland steak and dog food pad Thai with shrimp the size of dimes I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I'm actually upset thinking about how you have the audacity to serve this food and charge such high prices when you can't even properly season and cook a steak or make a simple pad Thai. The bill came out to $95.01 & I about made the waitress cry when I told her how awful the food was. The hostess and waitress were the only reason I gave this restaurant a 1 star. I also never got my mashed potatoes.

Absolutely delicious! If you go, you need the avocado egg rolls for sure! I went for Thanksgiving and have no regrets. By all means ask for Maddy to be your server! She was SO good and made my meal alone the best! Kona used to be thee spot a few years ago but it seems things have really gone downhill lately. We made a reservation for 10 that they confirmed and then said they didn’t have it on the books when we arrived. Not a huge deal but the food was so subpar to the prices. I ordered a $14 dessert and it came out with the brownies being cold and hard, with none of the three sauces listed on the menu. On the bright side the espresso martini was good and the sushi was pretty good as well.

Kona is a great place to bring family friends, they have a variety of dinner dishes to choose from, and the best sushi. If you’re looking for good service and a great evening give this place a try! They’re fantastic!

Server was amazing! The food was even better. Arrived a little bit before 6 and had less than a 10 min wait.

My date and I came to Kona after our original date idea got canceled. Kona was such a nice atmosphere and we were welcomed immediately and sat quickly. We ordered wine and a couple steaks and I will say that is one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! It was cooked to perfection! The manager even came around with candles to put on the tables. It was so romantic! Thank you Kona for making our date wonderful!

First of all, our waitress was great. Here is the rest.. When we walked in, it smelled like sewer and I had to cover my nose to keep from gagging. The hostess was sweet and sat us at our table. The appetizers were cold, there were gnats flying around (landing in our food), not one out of the 6 of us liked our meal, my husband had one beer and it was warm, the carpet was disgusting and the bathrooms smelled too. The gnats were mentioned to our waitress and we were dismissed on that. For the price of the food, we were given 1 star quality. We used to like this restaurant, but collectively decided we will not be returning.

Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Food was good but could be better portioned.

First time to try Kona Grill and service was good. However, the food was not so good. I had the Phad Thai and it tasted sweet, and the portion was good for two people. Service was good as our server made sure that we got what we ordered and that she didn’t missed anything. My Miso Soup was superb and flavorful; the watermelon margaritas was good too!. I definitely still recommend this place for sushi and rolls and cocktails. Service was good too so I gave the server a good tip.😊

This is my first time here. There is a lot of menu options but only a handful of Vegetarian though. I ordered the tofu curry with rice and I must do it's too good. It's a bit spicy for American general people but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The service she ambience was top. I would try to go here more often.

I love Kona Grill! Over the years it has become to go to for my friends and I to celebrate birthdays, achievements, or just catch up after a while. We always go during Reverse Happy Hour, eat, and talk for hours. The atmosphere is great, the service is wonderful (especially Rebecca - she's our favorite!), and the avocado egg rolls and sushi are the best! I'm severely allergic to shellfish but I can always trust that Kona takes all the necessary precautions needed to allow me to fulfill my sushi cravings safely (this hasn't always been the case with other establishments). I do miss the brownie dessert they used to have but I can't wait for our next visit.

My husband and I have been here a handful of times. They always have really good happy hour and drinks! Our last visit our server Beka was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of during our visit! Love the atmosphere and will definitely keep coming back! Our favorites are the avocado egg rolls and the crab crunch roll! 🍱

So yesterday I went in and the SWEETEST most amazing host Lily greeted me and made me feel so so welcome when I came in! She seated me promptly and just made me feel very comfortable, especially since it was my first time coming here. All of my drinks and food were served promptly by my wonderful server, who did just an amazing job as well. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, but it was especially the people that made it worth while! Once again I want to thank Lily because she made my 10/10 experience a 1,000,000/10 EXPERIENCE!!!

I can’t say enough bad things about this place. I’ll start with the horrible customer service from the manager who had alcohol on his breath with no manners. The food, which had no flavor and way too much salt. The leaking ceiling by the bar area, water was all over the floor and the entire place smelled. The bathrooms with no soap, ew. This place needs help. You can start by fixing the leak, stocking the bathroom, hiring more waiting staff and new chefs. Also maybe check on your manager he may have a problem. Here’s some recommendations for other much better options, Blue Sushi or Umami.

Stopped in for a later than normal supper after our son's school musical. He had the kid's bento box with double edamame side. I had sushi and salad which was the perfect amount of food while the hubs had poke bowl. Son finished his meal with brownie covered in icecream for an additional $1. Our server was friendly and quick on her feet.

The chicken stir fry is spicy. IWNGA The Pad Thai was good, I'd get without the peanuts. The shrimp tempura was okay, I wouldn't get again.

Amazing place! Oriental inclined cuisine. I definitely loved this place. Amazing service provided by the staff but specially TJ who went above and beyond to offer the best experience.

First off, this is a really cool concept with lots of excellent and creative menu items. Flaming sushi shows, full bar, wagu beef, what's not to like? I opted for Surf & Turf, upgraded the sushi to lobster, and swapped out the side for brussels sprouts and believe I've created the perfect meal. The service was excellent at 9:30 pm on a Sunday (came straight from the airport) and the steak was too. I can highly recommend Kona Grill!

Kona Margaritas are my favorite here. They have gluten-free options on the menu, but I asked for accommodations on the sweet chili glazed salmon to have gluten-free fried rice! 😋 was very good. Spouse got Kona Stir-fry, which was good. Our server was not my favorite but she corrected her mistake. We sat in the patio and they had the heater on(hot outside) they turned them off and opened the windows, it was beautiful outside! One downfall was our table was extremely sticky, maybe time to replace them. They seem clean, but our menus stuck to the table.
