Ordered a pizza and waited 50 minutes for it.. also had to ask for water, ranch and to put the pizza back in the oven to finish cooking. I asked for a box cut but as you can see they couldn't even get that right! Save yourself the time and money, you're better off getting a $4 Jacks frozen and eating it at home.

We were in town this last Monday, and decided to walk from our hotel to the restaurant. Their special this day was a 1 topping pizza for $11.99. When we arrived they must have been short staffed because we had to order at the counter instead of having a waitress/waiter. We saw a sign that this was normal during lunch, but this was during dinner service. I ordered our food, paid, and left a tip. I then realized that the tip I left was for the staff to literally bring our pizza to the table. 20% to deliver a pizza, 4 slices, and an appetizer across the room. I then realized that they charged us full price for the large half Canadian bacon, half cheese (regular cheese, not extra). When I asked about this I was told I in order to get the special price it had to be 1 topping across the entire pizza, and not half/half. You literally used less product and still charged me $9 additional for the pizza. I’ve never encountered a pizza restaurant in my 42 years that wine not consider a half/half pizza a one topping pizza (especially when that one topping is regular cheese). The food was okay but nothing to write home about. The service and the atmosphere were very much sub par,

I have always enjoyed this pizza. I like the classic, NY style art on the wall. It gives it a big city sort of feel. The pizza is decent. It is NY style pizza for the most part. The portions are usually pretty big and the ingredients are fresh. Overall this is a good place and definitely a local stop that is worth checking out if you are downtown.

I have been a fan of Zio's for 30 years. Last night was my second visit to the Old Market location in the last few months. Both times the experience was unrecognizable from past experiences. You must know you have a staff problem. I felt invisible both times. Poor/almost no communication. No attempt to make us feel welcome. The busboy seated me and said someone would help me. After a while I realized that you were still on counter service. The same busboy took my order and didn't know to give me a number placard. They took my name and said they would yell my name. All the staff looked half asleep and like zombies. No customer service skills. My pizza had so much cheese on it that it was not even hot all the way through. The last time I thought it was maybe a fluke. This time confirmed it is a serious mismanagement issue. You have lost a loyal customer that patronized your restaurants for decades. I will not be back. Very sad. Your once proud brand is being run into the ground.

Took the kids to lunch. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Our server brought out dough for the kids to play with. Prices have gone up in the last few months and it is getting expensive to go out. I still really enjoy the food.

The atmosphere was a bit more grungy then expected. Was a bit worried that the pizza was going to be subpar. The service was a lil slow but they only had a few working. Granted there also didn't seem to be that busy. Our server was very nice. The vegan cheese was a $2 extra charge and the price of the other extra toppings seemed a bit high. Despite all this we enjoyed the pizza. The crust was nicely done and the pizza was great.

Toppings were good, but scoring so low because this should not have been served. But I understand they didn't have much choice to remake it since I had to wait 50 minutes for it.

This is a great pizza stop! Prices aren't through the roof and the food is good. I really enjoyed my calzone, which could've been enough for 2 people, but I was hungry. Gluten free crust is an option and is pretty decent. Our waitress did great and never left us hanging. The food did take a little bit to get done, and it wasn't too busy at that time, but it was worth the wait. I would eat here again my next time going through Omaha!

Here on vacation and came in for pizza, I must say VERY dissatisfied!! Service was a 2 out of 10 no personality at all, the food came out cheese was cold to the touch on pizza and calzone. Garlic Bread had little to no garlic. I would not recommend and I would not eat here ever again and yes I did Tip because it’s the right thing to do!

Love the BIANCA PIZZA Olive oil, garlic, ricotta, basil. Waited for bit for slice but maybe it was because they were short on help. So it's not there fault. I suggest that you come by and try it.

Very friendly staff, always willing to help. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. It's a nice restaurant to sit, relax and watch brain teasers. I have to be honest when I started working here I was nervous 😓 but everyone was so helpful and kind, it made my work life easier and happier. We try our hardest to make sure everyone that walks in our doors feels welcome and leaves with a satisfying experience 😃 So don't be afraid to stop in for a bite 😉

I was recommended this pizzeria by the staff at my hotel. I was incredibly disappointed. Their pizza tasted like a bad imitation of East coast pizza. They would be insulted that this is called pizza. The crust was bland and the sauce was little more then tomatoe paste. The establishment wasnt very clean either. The tankes left by patrons qete not wiped down and i ended up sitting at the cleanest table i could find which still had food debris and drink rings left on the table. I did appreciate their chicken not coming from a can. I will NOT be back and would NOT recommend this place if you actually like pizza. What's more sad is the dismissive attitude of the owner I their response to a genuine review from a customer who was there on Saturday. Shame.

The food was ok, but the service (as my only dining experience during my time in Omaha) really left a bad taste in my mouth. Over 1 1/2 hour wait at the table for our food and I ended up telling them to put it in a box Togo. Got back to the hotel and it wasn’t even the right slice that I ordered. Really bad experience. I sympathize with them being short staffed, but they should have returned to the table to tell me how long it would be when I asked repeatedly. I would have paid for the appetizer and left had i known our food wasn’t even in the oven yet. Wasted half of the night here when we could have been in the pool at the hotel.

Zio's was excellent. We came in and the server was super friendly. We ordered 2 slices and a soda which was about 9 dollars which was a good price seeing as the slices are pretty big. I also ordered some 3 cheese garlic bread which was delicious! It uses their hoagie bun so I bet their meatball sandwich is stellar. The pizza was fresh and hot and tasted great. Not overly saucy and had a good crust on it. Our server was very nice and checked in twice to make sure we were happy with our pizza. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town!

We had to wait 10 minutes till the waiter showed up. After ordering 2 slices of pizza and a simple dessert we had to wait another 40 minutes!

Came in pretty late on a Saturday after an event and we’re very hungry! The place was nearly empty and just a few staff were working because of the time but they sat us right away! We waited a few minutes and the waitress who took our order was very happy to help me with getting something vegan - a pizza with no cheese! Prices were very good. The man who I think was the manager/shift lead was very kind , got us extra napkins and just overall made sure we had a good experience

The service and the pizza slices were great. The slices aren’t too big — I got two and they were perfect for one person. I paid around $12 for two slices of plain pizza and a soda. I bumped this down a star because it takes 10-15 mins for a slice 😅 (for anyone looking for a quick grab and go!)

The food here is pretty good but I gave it 4 stars because of atmosphere. When we first walked in there was no one really there to direct us so we just sat at a booth and I thought I broke my tailbone when I sat down because the booth had no cushioning whatsoever in it. It was like sitting on wood. We ended up moving to a different booth but had the exact same problem. Every seat had no support whatsoever in the cushions. My husband got a white pizza which she said was just OK and I got the taco one which was really really good!

I love coming to Zio’s when I am in Omaha. Being in the Old District adds some charm. Do some shopping and then stop in for 2 slices and a soda. Pepperoni and spicy Italian links. It was so good that I ate it before a I took a picture. Added bonus: they have Orange Crush.

You know the pizza is good when you gobble it up in 5 min and don't leave the crust behind. I liked the ambiance as well.

The pizza was great! We had the Hawaiian and I only wished we'd ordered a bigger one. Kids food came out early which wasn't a bad thing. While we were waiting for our food, my husband brought our 3 year old over up see them making the pizzas. They gave my daughter a ball of dough to play with while we waited. She loved it! My only complaint was on our booth. We also have a 1 year old. There were electrical cords hanging and he kept wanting to play with them. We enjoyed Zio's and would definitely come back.

We were looking for some quick pizza after a full day at the zoo and we hit the jackpot. It happened to be Monday, so we were able to do the $11.99 large pizza deal. The atmosphere was great (LOVE the NYC vibe), the service was good and the food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Omaha!

We love supporting local places and thought we’d give Zio’s a try. Will not be going back nor recommending. Ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. Upon first bite we all notice pineapple was rotten. It smelled rotten and the taste was rancid. Even my 5 year old spit it out and asked why it tasted funny. We told our waiter and asked if we could order a different pizza. The manager came to our table and we told him our concerns : that the pineapple was rancid. I’d expect any manager to reply with a simple “sorry about that“ instead we got an eye roll and “well we’ve been using it all day and you are the first to complain”….. I was stunned. Excuse me?! They agreed to make a different pizza, but I wish I had just walked out . Not only is this poor costumer service, but UNSAFE.

The server was friendly and attentive, and kept me updated on my order. I ordered the New York King and it was delicious! The crust was perfectly done and you can tell it's from scratch. The sauce was more savory and mellow than most, which I highly approve. The Cinna-Knots are to die for! Great place to go!
