👍👍 Everything was cooked to perfection. My favorite was the Manti (steamed beef Dumplings). The wrapper was the perfect thickness and during the steaming process a great sweet and beefy broth is created inside and great way to start eating the dumpling. Touch of sour cream cuts through the hearty filli... People often mention great, good, service, chicken, time, ordered, delicious,

Everything was cooked to perfection. My favorite was the Manti (steamed beef Dumplings). The wrapper was the perfect thickness and during the steaming process a great sweet and beefy broth is created inside and great way to start eating the dumpling. Touch of sour cream cuts through the hearty filling and make you want more. The Sambusa were also great. Baked flaky pastry with a great beef filling inside. Wash all down with a good borsch soup. Lastly, the booths were soooo comfortable that I wanted to take a nap after the meal. Great experience, value and excellent service.

Chicken shawarma and gyro was good. Food was fresh. I would of enjoyed more chicken in the Shawarma. The place is really cute, great for a date night. And customer service was outgoing and kind.

Looking for a beautiful place to hangout to get a feel of the ethnic decorations and cuisines of the Middle East? Then this is a perfect place for you. The place mainly features foods of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. We ordered Sambusa, Cutlet and Chicken Kebab. All of them were delicious. We ended our day with the black tea which actually helps to digest your food. Though “Chaikhana” literally means Tea House but their main course is more exquisite here. The behaviour of the manager was also nice and humble. He came to us to share the story of the place. It is new but definitely one of a kind in the town.

The place is decent and looking fancy. They have a very nice set of dining couch and tables. There's good amount of choices for the menu too. I got the chicken kebabs and I could say it's pretty tasty I love how they do it. They served their food hot. The chicken was still hot and very juicy. I don't like the drinks though it tasted stale.

I had Chaikhana Bread, Sambusa and Pilav. It was fabulous! Ravshan the owner was so wonderful and very pleasant. He told me a little about Tajikistan and helped me choose some traditional dishes to try. The decor is beautiful and it has custom furniture, done in a traditional style with pillows on the booths (that was a very neat touch). They also play traditional music for you to enjoy. I loved everything about this place and I would definitely recommend!

We’ve gone to this place several times and the quality stays the same. Food is excellent and served fairly promptly. Only down side is they sometimes run out of food but that’s really my only complaint. The booths are comfortable and the whole place is beautiful.

We ordered kabobs and wraps... everything was delicious. The steak was flavorful and done perfectly. The chicken was moist and delicious. We also had a shawarma that was amazing. I ordered additional to go. The sambusa was fought over for the appetizer... next time we'll get more! The service was quick, prompt, and polite. The benches plush. Ambiance was artful and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Delicious flavors, special atmosphere, very attentive staff! Food was so good we ordered more food to go. Lulya kebab (beef/lamb skewer), pilav (meat in seasoned rice), pickled veggies, and the included salads were perfectly balanced flavor and freshness. Filling yet not heavy. Everyone deserves to try this lovely place! ❤️ Will come back every time I'm in Omaha.

An excellent and interesting new dining experience for my husband and I this evening. We were just passing by and on impulse decided to give the a try. We were very impressed with the clean and beautiful traditionally decorated interior. The food was outstanding - all fresh and cooked to order. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Don’t bother looking at website menu. It is not up to date. The menu has about had the things and they run out of items. The salad had a most delightful dill vinaigrette husband had lamb kebab with a side of sautéed mushrooms and onions and I had luyla kabob. The rice had no seasoning nor did the sauce provided for dipping or mushrooms and onions. I did not know you could do that to mushroom and onions. The meat did have a nice mild flavor, very similar to the Lebanese 7 spice I make myself at home for quick meals. We were so excited to go from the website and had planned to take extra entrees home for tomorrow. Did not happen and probably won’t go back. I hate writing poor reviews, but it seems food places have gone down hill since COVID. No, we did not get Covid and no lose of taste with us. It was dinner hour and the place was empty. Might say something. Darn it. Did people stop caring how their food taste or are people just hoping people are desperate enough to eat out anyway?

I just wanted to leave a very satisfied review. I’m originally not from Omaha, but have been living here for the past 5 years because of school. I grew up with a Slavic family, so when I moved here, I could not find a place that serves the kind of food I ate with my family. There’s places in Lincoln, but Omaha doesn’t have a big Slavic community (that I know of). I was so happy when I found this place! This food is fresh and authentic. It reminded me of what my mom and grandma would make for me at home. I hardly get to come home because of how busy school gets, so when I get homesick, I would go to this restaurant with my boyfriend. I highly recommend this place! Especially the kebabs, salads, and borscht. The food served here is unlike anything else that is offered in Omaha. Go here and explore a different kind of culture of food.

I was awful about taking pictures but that’s because we gobbled everything down so fast. Hearty, well seasoned, it felt like I was eating in someone’s home. It was phenominal and we will be coming here much more frequently. Service was fast and our food got to us fast. The mantu and sambusas are MUST HAVES and my husband loved the lulya kabob (I didn’t get a picture because I was eating and by the time I finished, he had eaten it all.) The jasmine tea I got was spectacular. Truly I cannot rave enough. Please try them out if you’ve never had central Asian cuisine!

1st time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. Great waiter, average wait time, and very comfortable. I especially liked the chicken kabob. Defiantly a spot to return to and try new things. Would recommend to all.

Kebabs, rice, salad- everything was great! Some items in the menu were not available. Comfortable seats, ethnic Tajik design.

Just visited for the first time, and the food was phenomenal! We got the lulya kabab, the dumplings, and the pilov. Everything was so hearty and savory!! I also loved the fresh dill on the side salad, and the bread tasted just like my grandmother's bread.

We LOVE Chaikhana! The flavors are so vibrant, the meat is tender and the hummus is spectacular! The atmosphere is very inviting, as the booths are filled with velvet pillows, ornate carving in the table and beautiful art adorns the walls.

I should note that I haven't tried the kabobs, but I have been there two separate times. Both times I had soups, breads and hand pies, all of which were really good! The borscht and lagman (soups) are both super flavourful and the, what appear to be handmade, noodles in the lagman have a satisfying chew and texture I haven't experienced before. That aside, the sambusas are meat and onion filled hand pies that are my favorite thing there. My wife and I loved them so much we craved them for weeks and went back. They are served with a lightly spiced sauce that is pretty solid too. When visiting, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the dishes lean on fresh dill, which feels homey. Everything is had a balance of herby, heartiness. On top of the food being good, the seating is quite comfortable. The name of the restaurant appears to mean teahouse and the seating matches that idea. There are pillows on the highly decorative benches, so you can sit comfortably and I just love it. Very stoked to try the actual kabobs, but clearly I don't need them to love this place.

Stopped in based on the recommendation of a friend. We ordered the 3-kabob platter, with chicken, beef, and lyulya, all were amazing. Prior to the meal, a salad with a DELICIOUS dill dressing. Service was exceptional. Delightful experience and I'll definitely visit again.
