For
our
anniversary
my
husband
and
I
went
to
J.
Gilbert's
Wood
Fired
Steaks
and
we
were
very
happy
with
our
meals
and
our
service.
The
sourdough
bread
had
a
good
crust,
but
the
bread
itself
tasted
like
it
needed
some
salt
in
the
mix.
The
Maryland
Crab
bisque
was
the
star
of
the
night
for
me.
I
loved
the
theatrics
of
pouring
the
bisque
to
cover
the
crab
right
in
front
of
you.
The
taste
was
show
stopping
and
I
would
love
to
know
how
they
got
the
sensation
of
heat
after
every
bite
without
it
being
spicy.
It
was
phenomenal!
I
ordered
the
Twin
Canadian
Cold
Water
Lobster
tails
and
enjoyed
every
bite.
The
potatoes
were
delicious.
The
asparagus
was
perfectly
cooked,
but
the
tomato
(while
adding
color
to
the
plate)
didn't
really
balance
well
with
the
asparagus.
My
husband
ordered
the
bone
in
pork
chop.
It
was
well
seared
and
perfectly
cooked.
He
also
enjoyed
his
potatoes.
The
corn
contained
bits
of
bacon
inside
and
he
thought
that
was
tasty.
The
Lobster
Mac
and
Cheese
was
good,
but
was
a
lot
heavier
on
the
bread
crumbs
than
the
lobster.
My
husband
had
the
creme
brulee
and
it
was
the
largest
portion
I
have
ever
seen!
The
top
was
perfectly
fired
so
it
didn't
taste
burnt
at
all.
It
contained
a
single
raspberry,
so
I
do
think
the
description
was
a
little
off.
My
chocolate
velvet
cake
was
incredibly
rich.
The
raspberry
ice
cream
was
the
star
of
the
dish
for
me.
I
think
it
needed
more
acidity
to
balance
the
dish,
raspberry
puree
or
ganache
perhaps.
The
service
was
good
and
our
waters
were
never
empty.
Our
server
was
fabulous
and
friendly.
We
had
a
memorable
evening
and
were
glad
to
give
it
a
try.
