Celebrated Anniversary, big mistake! Our server was grumpy and rude. She made us feel like we are a burden to her. I think she needs a day off. Table was merely clean. Food was Ok, lost our appetite because of how we were served! We decided to take our food home 😏

Actually 2.5 stars. I would grade this place c+ at best. This place is very old and that's one of the reasons we chose it. But it felt more like a cafeteria than it did an old steakhouse. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked properly, but it didn't have enough seasoning or sear, and it wasn't trimmed correctly; they left a lot of connective tissue on it and it made it very tough. My wife had the fettuccine alfredo. The sauce was rather bland, and she's glad she ordered the chicken to go along with it. Our server tried hard. Bottom line, we didn't hate it, but we were disappointed.

My server, Tammy, was amazing which was the saving grace. She was thoughtful, attentive, and friendly. Unfortunately, the food quality was oh-so-meh. Edible but nothing special and sometimes dry and way under seasoned. Dry baked potato, dry bread sticks, small iceberg salad that had more dressing than Veg, and a perfectly cooked steak that was more greasy than juicy. Additionally my steak had quite a lot of connective tissue and large chucks of fat. Everything was hot and fresh but the quality was way less than I expected from a restaurant with such good word of mouth and absolutely over priced. Nostalgia seems to be what is what is keeping this restaurant open...

Classic Italian style steakhouse with delicious food. Great luncheon menu. I had the steak sandwich on my last visit and it was amazing! Steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork! Highly recommend!!

We went there for Thanksgiving dinner and it was quite a disappointment. So visiting from out of town decided to take my daughter to what I thought was going to be a nice thanksgiving dinner. Turned out that it wasn't much better than cracker barrel that we went to last year. Well, the atmosphere is great. It has a very old New York Italian style vibe. The food was average actually on the low side of average and for the price probably a lower rating. They start off with a salad that has one tomato and two olives and three peppers in it. And on the fifth bite of our salad our meals came out. That to me was the biggest problem as the meals sat there getting colder while we were trying to eat the salad. To top it off there was no desert!! How can you have a Thanksgiving meal and not have dessert? No pumpkin pie, no cake, no cheesecake, nothing. The whole meal felt like they were just trying to rush us out from the minute we sat down. I would not recommend this place for a holiday meal.

One of our favorite restaurants in Omaha. The atmosphere is so relaxing and comfortable, steaks are exemplary and the service is top notch. Steaks are perfectly seasoned, and they always come out exactly how you order them. Comfortable seating, great for parties, date night, look no further. If you’re looking for a family owned, local establishment this is your place. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and I am a true steak lover. Reasonably priced and you won’t leave here hungry.

I was really looking forward to eating here and the food was overall good. Ribeye was a little chewy but had a good flavor. My husband ordered the filet mignon. It was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The salad left a lot to be desired, just iceberg lettuce with 2 olives and 2 peppers, drowning in dressing. The fried ravioli was flavorful. However, the marinara sauce was very bland. Same sauce used on the mostaccioli again bland. Breadsticks were soft and warm, but lacked garlic or seasoning. The service was great and atmosphere was very nice as well.

Personally was not a fan. Salad is iceberg lettuce smothered in dressing. Green beans seemed like they were poured straight of a can. Two of the people in my group steak was not cooked properly. The atmosphere kind of reminded me of a nursing home dining room.

The food here was excellent. Everything was fresh & well prepared. I got the tenderloin brochettes which were tender & tasty. The mostaccioli, salad, bread sticks, & baked potato were all excellent too. If you're in Omaha this classic steakhouse is a place worth checking out!

Actually a pretty cool place, maybe a little dated . But our food and service was excellent and we enjoyed the old-school atmosphere (Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin overhead). We came on a Sunday night and there were very few patrons, but at other times there may be a 30 minute wait.

I wanted to like it…I really did. I mean…the steaks come with a side of spaghetti…AND hot breadsticks…how can you eat that? I got the Filet with fries. The Cut was great…you could cut the Filet with a fork. BUT…I think the chef forgot to season this one. I’m not talking, it needed more…I mean, it had ZERO seasoning. When I travel, I “tend” to not add too much seasoning…I’m expecting to eat the local food the way THEY cook it. So…I ate the steak the way it was cooked…and it was, well, natural. I ate a Filet right off the cow…without any seasoning. Other than that, everything else was good. I would give it 3 stars, but if you advertise as a “Steakhouse”, I have to judge off the steak…

Was a great experience, I went with a group of family and friends during my Cousin's Bachelor Party. The atmosphere was very nice, we were in the (Glass Private Room) It had its own bar and waitress. The service was EXCELLENT and the food was DELICIOUS (Had the 18oz. Bone-in Ribeye which came with a salad and baked potato). I highly recommend this for Big gatherings or even a Business Luncheon.

I haven't been here in 15-20 years. The food was great tonight! One of maybe two or three left of the old steak houses in Omaha ! Great food and staff. Nice to relax and have a great meal with family ! We will make sure to come back much sooner !!

Went for New Years Eve. Service was overall great. My prime rib was cooked a bit over medium rare, and the flavor was very good, but 2 of the filets that were at our table were overcooked and dry. We didn't bother sending them back because of how busy they were. Three onion rings were fabulous, but the rest of the sides were just okay. First time there in 20 years, and it was overall good, just wasn't as wonderful as I remembered.

I'll start with the positive our waitress was super sweet . The steak was well seasoned, but for the price of the steak, it was very small and not worth it, in my opinion. You do get free bread, which apparently most restaurants dont do anymore, so that was nice. Also for the loaded baked potato there was a heaping mound of sour cream and a few measly pieces of bacon and cheese that they charge you extra for, which wouldn't be an issue if it was actually loaded. As for the toasted raviolis, they weren't horrible, but for the price, i could easily go to the store and buy ravioli's and make them for half of what they are charging and they would probably have more flavor. They also didn't have the full dinner menu, so there wasn't a whole lot to choose from .when i called about making a reservation, they should have made me aware that they weren't serving the full menu, and i would have gone somewhere else . The lasagna sauce tasted like it came from a can with baked parm cheese from a plastic bottle and very little noodles . For the price , i was expecting a big plate of lasagna, and it was more like a side dish at best .Reading the reviews, i had high hopes, and this place just didn't do it. The salad was just iceburg lettuce in a bowl with 3 black olives and some banana peppers. It seemed like they were just trying to get rid of what they had left over in the kitchen and throw it into anything they possibly could . Definitely not the best in Omaha! Go somewhere else and get your moneys worth Cheers!

The food was fantastic. I got a 14oz prime rib and without a scale I'm guessing it was 16-18oz. On top of that it was cooked to perfection. We were in the party room with another party and even though our server had about 35 people between the two groups she did a fantastic job. Very polite with tons of smiles and took care of the smallest needs in a quick fashion.

My steak was perfect. Italian dressing on my salad was great, the salad was lettuce, 4 banana pepers and 2 olives, not very impressed by that. The pasta that came with it, didn't like the sauce and pasta was way over cooked, only had a bite. However as I said, the steak was perfect.

Haven't been there for a while. Thought I'd stop in. Still has that mafioso atmosphere. Food was pretty pretty good this time around. The Italian sausage was excellent. So was the ground steak. I'll go back again soon. I think it's the only traditional Italian steak house left in omaha.

The "last of the best", we had a great evening with another couple. Unfortunately, our steak wasn't prepared properly, but they did completely remake it. It throws off the evening when it happens, but for a $42 steak, you want it right. Service was great, I truly love it when the owner is there making you feel like it's a family business and not bum-rushed through a chain.

Had a graduation lunch at Cascio’s with friends and family. Excellent service, pleasant and helpful host. They had arranged special tables for our group! Good wine by the bottle. Ok bread. Great salad. I had Beef Parmigiana- it was okay, didn’t really delight… the veggies and pasta were pretty lame. My wife got the Halibut- she really enjoyed it. The ambience was “ much past its glory days “.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Cascio's. It is clear that it is family run and even more clear that they really care. Our steaks were fantastic and it was a good value as well with breadsticks, salad with house made dressing, delicious baked potato (or fries) and pasta with red sauce all as part of the meal. Tea and coffee would have been included as well, but it was too late in the evening for me. They went above and beyond giving our 4 year old a shirt as we were leaving. Can't wait to come back!

This is an old Omaha iconic restaurant of which there are now few. I'd hate to see it fail but with the same tired entrees with less than modern flavor profiles, I'm concerned for its longevity. It never seems very busy when we go there. The servers are pleasant and efficient and their party room is a great feature. I know sometimes people just want something familiar. But the old smelling atmosphere and dated decor were a real turn off for me.

Steak was cooked to perfection, and every staff member was welcoming and responsive. A lot of food! So make sure you are hungry. Lastly, hot bread sticks were heavenly. I believe this is a small business, so I encourage everyone to support them.

This was a disappointment. We have been to many other Italian steakhouses, both in Omaha and in other cities, and this one just fell short. We are people who will pay plenty for a quality dining experience, but things better be right when we are paying $40+/person for an entree. We liked the old-school vibe from outside, but once inside, there were a lot of opportunities lost. First, despite there being a huge dining room with lots of open tables, we were seated right between two full tables, one of them very, obnoxiously loud. The staff should be aware of situations like this and should be ready to seat parties with some space between if someone is rowdy or annoying. Second, after a good wait, we were finally approached for drink orders, but without ever having been given the drink menu. Once our bottle of wine was served, it was not served with proper wine service. Not to be a wine snob, but if you want to be a "fine dining" establishment, you should know what you are doing. Third, after submitting our food order, the entrees were served after we'd barely started our salads. The server apologized and blamed it on the kitchen, but whose fault it is isn't the point. The timing between courses is super important to an enjoyable dining experience. Fourth, the food was mediocre. The pastas were all, frankly, just bad. Of the four of us at the table, one had a pasta enteee and the other three had pasta sides. All agreed that the pasta was overcooked and the sauce tasted like cheap jar sauce. The baked potato was served dry ( when asked, we were provided dried chives and sour cream in foil packets). The steaks were very average. Fifth, we had to ask for our water to be refilled. If there is one easy way to keep customers happy, it's just to keep the water glasses full. The final bill was about $250 for four people (four meals, 1 cocktail, and 1 botte of wine). We are fine paying that for a meal, but not with these shortcomings. We won't be back.

Our favorite place to eat as a couple for 37 years! This time was for a delayed anniversary dinner. Always delicious food and great service never disappointed! Worth the 2.5 hour drive for us, Prime Rib and Beef Parm!
