This
was
a
disappointment.
We
have
been
to
many
other
Italian
steakhouses,
both
in
Omaha
and
in
other
cities,
and
this
one
just
fell
short.
We
are
people
who
will
pay
plenty
for
a
quality
dining
experience,
but
things
better
be
right
when
we
are
paying
$40+/person
for
an
entree.
We
liked
the
old-school
vibe
from
outside,
but
once
inside,
there
were
a
lot
of
opportunities
lost.
First,
despite
there
being
a
huge
dining
room
with
lots
of
open
tables,
we
were
seated
right
between
two
full
tables,
one
of
them
very,
obnoxiously
loud.
The
staff
should
be
aware
of
situations
like
this
and
should
be
ready
to
seat
parties
with
some
space
between
if
someone
is
rowdy
or
annoying.
Second,
after
a
good
wait,
we
were
finally
approached
for
drink
orders,
but
without
ever
having
been
given
the
drink
menu.
Once
our
bottle
of
wine
was
served,
it
was
not
served
with
proper
wine
service.
Not
to
be
a
wine
snob,
but
if
you
want
to
be
a
"fine
dining"
establishment,
you
should
know
what
you
are
doing.
Third,
after
submitting
our
food
order,
the
entrees
were
served
after
we'd
barely
started
our
salads.
The
server
apologized
and
blamed
it
on
the
kitchen,
but
whose
fault
it
is
isn't
the
point.
The
timing
between
courses
is
super
important
to
an
enjoyable
dining
experience.
Fourth,
the
food
was
mediocre.
The
pastas
were
all,
frankly,
just
bad.
Of
the
four
of
us
at
the
table,
one
had
a
pasta
enteee
and
the
other
three
had
pasta
sides.
All
agreed
that
the
pasta
was
overcooked
and
the
sauce
tasted
like
cheap
jar
sauce.
The
baked
potato
was
served
dry
(
when
asked,
we
were
provided
dried
chives
and
sour
cream
in
foil
packets).
The
steaks
were
very
average.
Fifth,
we
had
to
ask
for
our
water
to
be
refilled.
If
there
is
one
easy
way
to
keep
customers
happy,
it's
just
to
keep
the
water
glasses
full.
The
final
bill
was
about
$250
for
four
people
(four
meals,
1
cocktail,
and
1
botte
of
wine).
We
are
fine
paying
that
for
a
meal,
but
not
with
these
shortcomings.
We
won't
be
back.
