We absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area! Close to historic downtown with great restaurants within walking distance and less than 10 minute drive to the zoo. The free breakfast buffet was out of this world! The price for the room was very affordable. (Please take note that parking is $21 for self park and $27 for valet.) Still with that even a fantastic deal!

I cannot honestly rate rooms, because unfortunately we never made it to the rooms. After a long day of driving with our four children we were anxious to get to the hotel and settle in for the night. When we arrived at the hotel the young woman at the desk informed us that we only had a king premium suite booked. We said yes, but also a queen premium suite. My husband offered to show her the reservation confirmation email. She never looked, instead said I’ll have to get my manager. After a few minutes of waiting the manager arrived. Thus began the worst customer service experience we have ever had! She informed us that that the queen room had been cancelled by us. Why would we do that when obviously (all six of us were standing there) we’re not going to fit in a king room? Lie number 1…. Again my husband tried to show them the email confirmation… again neither made an effort to look. She then proceeded to argue with us again about the cancellation and still refused to look at the email confirmation. Finally, we very pointedly asked if there was another room available and she very rudely responded no. Again my husband tried to show her our email confirmation. Never once did she apologize, offer to help us find another place to stay, no effort was made whatsoever to assist us. With great frustration… we said we would go somewhere else… then as we were walking out in a snarky voice says… “have a good night”. The final insult is that we were billed for the king premium suite we NEVER used! In all our years of traveling, with or without children, we have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service! We have since talked with corporate guest relations. They were able to see that we truly did have a reservation for two rooms. The system at the hotel and the corporate system are the same system. We were blatantly lied to by this manager! I would highly caution anybody about staying at this hotel. If this is the kind of integrity that the management has then where else is there a lack of integrity?

The location of this hotel is great - which is the main reason we booked. However, if I could leave zero stars I would. We arrived to our first room (#505) and found an extremely worn set of living room furniture. The couch and chair were both long overdue for replacement, with cushions split open at the seams. We folded the couch out for our boys and found a stained, extremely uncomfortable mattress. We asked to move rooms, and upon going to our new room (#512) we walked into a sauna. The A/C showed it was on, but the air coming out of the vents was hot and damp. The room smelled of mildew. We turned around and found MOLD!! growing on the couch. We immediately checked out and will likely never book an Embassy Suites again. I did not get a picture, but all of the cushions on the benches in the breakfast/seating area were in shambles. I wouldn’t even consider sitting on them.

Embassy Suites Old Market has made some incredible improvements! The interior is beautiful and has a cozy feel. My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary and Liz took great care of us and made it an awesome time! The bartender that was there in 04/09/2023 (his name slipped my mind) was extremely friendly and accommodating during the complimentary evening reception. Can't wait to visit again!

The hotel was very clean. Definitely go for the corner room if you love sunlight and views of the city! Bar and bartenders were wonderful and we also received 2 complimentary drinks for happy hour at check in. I believe it was 530 to 730, but I could be wrong. They'll tell you at check in. Valet was fast and took care of us even while they were working a wedding that weekend. $29 for overnight valet btw. Will definitely be staying again!

My wife and I needed a weekend away to deal with some bad news. Sandra went above and beyond to make our stay special, and the bartenders Mickey and Hannah made us feel like family the entire weekend. I couldn't ask for better service or better people. We love Old Market but the employees are what make this hotel truly special. Sandra, Mickey, and Hannah, thank you for an unforgettable weekend. You clearly love your jobs and your customers which is rare these days. You made us feel like family. I cannot thank you enough. We can't wait to come back!

Great location in downtown Omaha BUT there are homeless people that may come in during the breakfast hours. Breakfast is delicious and fresh with great hours. Beds are not my favorite. They are semi-hard and pillows aren't the best I have used. I would expect better bedding for what you pay pet night. Rooms are spacious but not detailed cleaning being done....so fingerprints from others on cabinets and high touched areas. Some staining on floor in high traffic areas. Free drinks from 530 to 730, if you like happy hour. $27 valet or $21 self park... plus a $25 incidental charge that does fall off. It is a beautiful hotel, but has areas in which can be improved. Prefer to stay here if downtown, but not my favorite. 🤷‍♀️

We had an excellent stay. Although the hotel was very busy we never had to wait long for the elevator. The evening reception was great and the made to order omelettes for breakfast were head and shoulders above the others (which have also been great). The hotel has a lovely environment, many places to sit and relax for a private conversation. Very enjoyable in all areas.

Excellent room, great location, daily happy hour... all great. Our stay was marred by two days of no housekeeping, returned to find door unlocked and open. Small item was missing... reported everything to front desk, no action taken and no compensation. It's a shame that thus wonderful hotel was "sabotaged" by housekeeping staff. Unfortunately cannot recommend.

Great location, nice building and rooms. The breakfast food was nice each day and they have nice people like Dina and many others keeping the tables clean and food stocked - the coffee machines are interesting. The managers' receptions are always nice, especially because of people like Michael serving great drinks and being conversational and nice. We had a few issues during check-in and the front desk staff along with room service that brought down our experience during our stay. We are Hilton honors members and will remain brand loyal.

Room was clean and well-appointed with the exception of the toilet paper roll being located well behind you (no pun intended). The made-to-order omelets were wonderful and the evening social hour was nice as well. Every contact with a staff person was pleasant and friendly. Please ask about parking as those fees are not a part of the quoted room rate. No hot tub, which was something we were looking forward to. Very convenient location!

We loved our stay here. Big open hotel with an amazing breakfast service. The amenities this hotel offers are top notch and the rooms are quite comfortable. If I had one con to all the pros, is that the bar doesn't take the complimentary drink tickets after 7pm and the selection at the bar is very limited. Otherwise we loved this hotel and despite that one criticism, we will be returning.

We enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were clean, the lobby and staff were clean and kind! The kids had a blast in the swimming pool! The location is great and the park downtown is perfect for the kids! The valet service was great, Mike was so helpful and quick!

I attended a business conference and stayed at this hotel-- It's a wonderful location in Old Market and not far from the airport. My room was very clean and a perfect sized suite. The front desk staff was wonderful, especially Jazmin who was poised and personable. Thanks for making my stay comfortable!

We totally loved every minute of our 4 night stay at Embassy Suites! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved the view from our room on the 7th floor. We ordered room service and it was wonderful food! Breakfast was fantastic- we could order omelets and pancakes or enjoy the buffet. We used the laundry service on the 5th floor. We would certainly stay here again!

Location is great, walking distance to lots of fun things! The service, not great for us. Forgot meals we ordered in room service then waited 30min for it. We asked for a mattress for the pullout couch 5 times, said they would bring one, and just never did (I understand maybe there's not one available, that's fine, but just tell us) TV didn't work half the time. Feel like we paid for location, not the accommodations. Would not stay there again.

Great location...walkable to restaurants, shops, and park. The staff all around the hotel was the friendliest I've ever experienced from the man taking care of the pool to all the staff helping with breakfast. When we needed supplies for our room, we promptly received them. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and super friendly staff! Lots of eats and drinks within walking distance. I had a free weekend stay and a paid stay on back-to-back nights but separate reservations. The staff made the check in/out process easy and allowed me to just stay in the same room. The corner room suite was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of options (eggs, potatoes, fruits, yogurts, bagels, toast, biscuits n gravy) and also a cook to order omelette bar. Coffee and juices too or you can order from the lobby Starbucks. Definitely would stay again!

Attended a reunion here. First visit to Omaha. What a great location for events and just to stay. First close to many sites and restaurants. Our room was large and very quiet as well as dark as can be. The included breakfast was by far the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, free or not. A made to order omelet, pancakes or eggs any style you’d like. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in an instant.

The night we stayed the power went out. We were assured that our room keys and elevator would work. There were no problems. The family enjoyed the hearty breakfast of eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage gravy, fruits and muffins.

Negatives first: Housekeeping doesn't clean the room unless you let them know first. This wasn't told upon checkin. Second, no pack n play for my 2 year old. It's surprising how a hotel of this size and reputation doesn't have family friendly features like.a pack n play. Lastly, it's loud. At 1am, I have been woken up to people shouting in the atrium. Very disappointed in my stay for my wife, 5 year old and 2 year old. Positives: Location is great and the breakfast was above average. I will not be staying at this property again unless I come without my children.

The hotel staff and facilities were fantastic! Our family tradition is for all four families to stay at the Embassy Suites Old Market after Thanksgiving. The rooms were great and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would particularly note the front desk staff, valet parking team and the breakfast cooks and wait staff. They made the weekend memorable.

This hotel is very nice and met all my expectations. They have a manager's reception in the evenings that was very nice and breakfast was phenomenal. Great selections. We had an event in the ballroom and the dinner served was delicious.

Easy to get to. Check in is friendly and efficient. The room was clean and roomy. Starting to show some dings, but we'll appointed. The breakfast is quite lovely with the omlet bar. Overall I will stay here again. Also handy dog relief areas close by.

Great location...old market restaurants, shops, and park are within walking distance. Restaurants and nightlife are so close. Missouri river walk is incredibly close as well. Hotel staff is top notch. Breakfast and happy hour are outstanding. Didnt' use the pool but the workout room is more than sufficient. If in Omaha, you will have a difficult time doing better. .

My stay was wonderful. Staff members were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb. The hotel was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The room was the best. Loved my stay. The only thing I would like is drinking water in the rooms drinking and also for making coffee.

Staff was amazing. Really helped and made our stay. Your general manager is awesome, also Liz who checked us in and helped greatly. The food manager was helpful and so nice! The front desk lady in the morning, forgot her name was really helpful and so nice. What a great staff and great room!!! Will recommend to others. It true Lu was a great vacation place. You don’t really need to drive anywhere as everything is in walking distance.

Didn’t love having to pay for parking but I realize that any downtown location area will require this. So grateful that our amazing check in clerk, Sandra, pointed out that for just a few dollars more, we could valet the car. That was definitely the best option. By the time we were done, Sandra had made me feel like family! Seemed as though all the other lines were moving a lot slower but she really shined as super competent and friendly. Thanks so much!

A really nice Embassy Suites with potential for awesomeness. The good aspects of the hotel. (1) This hotel is centrally located hotel in downtown Omaha. Walking distance to a nearby museum, the downtown park, and several eatiers and bars. (2) The lobby and surrounding inside areas of the hotel was very clean. (3) The free happy hour cocktail time is a nice perk after an long afternoon walk. (4) The pool is clean and the connecting outside patio is a nice break from the loud and chlorine smell of indoors. (5) A wide variety of breakfast options. (6) Friendly breakfast staff. I came just a bit late and the staff waited until all of my party was able to gather breakfast before they cleaned up. The omelette and pancake cook, Kevin, super friendly and energetic. Made great tasting hot breakfast. There are a few areas of improvement. (1) Water dispensing locations are hard to find. Moreover, these dispensers require your own bottle. There should be a dispenser with fresh water and cups in the lobby, especially for those arriving late. (2) No available coffee after breakfast hours. It would be nice to have access to a cup of Joe especially after a late night check-in. (3) Staff during the late night check-in seemed more relaxed than those seen during the day. Not as helpful or motivated to help than those during the day. (4) A map of downtown would be nice for guests to hep acquaint themselves with the area. Overall great location. Recommend staying here.

To be honest, for the cost, I would have expected better. One of the elevators wasn't working at all and it was so busy. Only one bank of 3 elevators for 7 floors is not enough, and when 1 never even works at all, it's even worse. The mattress here was by far the worst rock I have ever slept on. There were other amenities that I would have expected to see, but most of those were just little things that seemed to keep adding up. Each by themselves were trivial, but less expensive hotels have them...why not this one? The parking lot is in terrible shape and for whatever reason you have to pay $21 a night to park on their disintegrating asphalt. Maybe.... use that money to re-pave it? The bar and the breakfast buffet were great. The made-to-order omelet I had was AMAZING. The service desk staff were helpful, too. The location is super convenient if you are wanting to spend most of your time in the downtown area.

We were at this Embassy Suites 5 days for a wedding. The rooms were great. The Breakfast hot omelettes were spot on. But it is the staff that makes this hotel one of the best we have stayed in. Every staff member went out of their way to make sure you wanted for nothing. But we have to give a special shout out to Sandra at the front desk. They just don’t get more welcoming than her. Thanks for a great stay

Great location. The breakfast and morning service was excellent. Staff super friendly and customer focused. I worked with Sandra on arranging our stay for our group of 4 . She went above and beyond to meet our needs. One of the best CS reps to work with in a long time. Thank you Sandra. The evening reception offered many choices. Looking forward to getting back to this location in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing and the hotel is within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. We will definitely be staying here again! When my daughter lost her apple watch, the staff was very helpful in helping us look for it and was just an overall great experience. We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The breakfast was so delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! Truly friendliness above and beyond expected! Front desk staff were also so helpful-responding quickly to needs and requests! The evening happy hour had wonderful snacks which offered a nice reprieve from our very long workdays! We also needed IT help which was quick and able to help resolve our issues! We will be back!!!

After years of avoiding the outdated version walking into the Embassy again was a breath of fresh air. As a single mother of 2 my girls and I felt so taken care of. The way my girls liked the staff and felt safe, they absolutely adored Sandra and would always say I hope she’s down there when we get back or when we go down! To the way I could depend on any service anytime of day or night. From the front desk, maid service, restaurant staff, valet, and security, everyone was above and beyond! We have told ourselves it’s where we want to stay even though our family is in west Omaha we would go out of our way for their great service!

First time we stayed in Embassy Suites and we love it. I uploaded the app and i love th digital key and its easy check in and checkout Rooms were nice and clean. Love the complimentary drinks and snacks and the breakfast also. we used the valet parking and when we got to the lobby we saw that our vehicle is already there waiting for us. Highly recommended. We will stay there again

Great improvement over last year. Breakfast was back to the same great cook-to-order that we all love. The chef made a Mickey mouse blueberry pancake that our granddaughter said was "super good ". Manager's special had above the norm snacks. Pool was clean & well stocked with towels. The staff in general were friendly and attentive. Thank you for a restful stay

Nice hotel with large sized rooms. What to me, set this hotel apart from the rest is the bar. Great selection of beers for a hotel bar and awesome bartenders. Shawn was the bartender I had, and he was very helpful/knowledgeable. The beer and steak salad were on point.

My family stayed at the Embassy for a quick trip in Omaha. The distance was perfect from attractions like the Zoo and Children's Museum. We were also in walking distance of shops/restaurants and the Gene Leahy Mall at the Riverfront where our toddler could run and play. The hotel's service was also great! After checking out I returned to the hotel to retrieve a lost item, which I'm sure they deal with often, but nonetheless they were genuine and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff are very welcoming. Everyone remembers you by name. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. Food especially the free hot made to order breakfast was fabulous. The only time I have every gotten up early on a trip just to eat breakfast.

  • 2/5 Renea H. 9 months ago on Google
The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast had a line wrapped around the elevator and starts at 6 am ends at 9am kinda early if you ask me. We missed our last day they were taking away the breakfast food at 8.50 am. After we checked out we noticed a charge of $8.46 to which we asked what we were charged for and she said it was an authorization fee to check out? What is that about?

I loved my stay at this embassy. The location is amazing, very very close to the old market and downtown. The staff were great, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. I loved that it has a walk-in shower. Breakfast was good with food out and made to order if that is what you want. The place is one of the best embassy suites I have stayed in. Yes you have to pay for parking but that is always pretty normal for a downtown location in any city. I will definitely be back.

We stayed the weekend of my daughter's wedding. I noticed I had forgotten a few things left in my room when we were at the church so the staff worked with me and my sister to get her into my room so she could bring what I needed. They were a huge help and saved me a lot of stress! Everyone on the staff was incredibly pleasant and very helpful. The reception was at the Durham and this location couldn't have been better. Also, great breakfast!

The decorations were soo cute for Christmas!
