This is a great hotel that I've stayed at several times for business. They have a large parking garage that is free if you're a hotel guest. It's across the street from the CHI Center if you're in town for a show and it's about 3-4 blocks to the Old Market area. There's plenty of restaurants within walking distance and even several options attached to the hotel if you didn't want to leave. This hotel is very nice and modern, I plan on staying here every time I go to Omaha.

They just opened a mini golf course across the street! But besides that, the staff are super knowledgeable about the renovated area, the rooms are super clean, even 10v wall chargers! They got a clean pool, business center and a bar with fantastic food. If ever here In Omaha, I highly reccomend this spot. The valets are awesome too, not only super on point but cool people.

It was a good location for our conference. The ballrooms worked well for presentations and our banquet. The room service was excellent the one time I used it. The climate control in the rooms was excellent but there wasn't much storage for a week's stay. The parking was expensive but easy to use.

The rooms were really nice. I do wish that there was a little more light in the room. But other than that excellent rooms excellent condition. Very nice shower got pretty hot. The woman who was at the front desk overnight was not very concerned with great customer service . But the rest of the hotel staff that I encountered were very friendly and helpful. This is an excellent location if you want to be downtown and walk to things. I stayed here for 1 night on business.

When we arrived, there were valets waiting to take your vehicle. We valet parked. It's only a few dollars more and just made sense. We went inside where the people at the front desk were very friendly. They were very professional and looked our room right up. As a woman I always pay attention to if the front desk announces your room to the entire hotel or if they write it down and just tell you the floor you're on. They did a great job of just writing our number down so that nobody knew where we were. I think this should be mandatory training personally! The room was clean and ready for us when we got up there. The shower pressure left a lot to be desired. The sheets, bathroom, etc were clean. The room smelled clean. The blackout curtains worked well. What really made the stay difficult for us was just how loud the traffic down below was. There is not good soundproofing. We were on the 9th floor and we could hear cars racing by and both of us were woken up several times by the traffic. We were staying the night for anniversary (without our kids) and hoping to get some good quality sleep and that was not the case for either of us.

Spent one night here to celebrate. Room was great. Staff was excellent and very attentive. Melissa at front desk is awesome. However, I was floored by Downtown Omaha! The new park, the Old Market and the people were all great. Not to mention all the lights during the holidays! Magical night!

The receptionist greeted me with a warm welcome. The room was so clean and neat. I stayed on the seventh floor and had a great view of the downtown. I spend time watching the town up from my room. The lounge area on the 3rd floor is great and the personnel are so friendly. I came here on a business visit, and I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

My little sister & I stayed here while traveling cross country, it was beautiful! Everyone was so friendly. On my solo trip back (from out west) I didn’t stay here because of the parking situation. It was kind of a nightmare tbh but if you want something in the heart of Omaha, this is a pretty great catch.

Had a wonderful stay at the Omaha Marriott Downtown. Great room with a view, plus excellent service and food in the lobby bar. Big thanks to Emily at the front desk for thinking on her feet and providing excellent service getting us into our room when the Marriott computers were on the fritz during check-in.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are modern and comfortable. Perfect location for a fun night in the Capitol district and the Old Market. There are hundreds of things to see and do within walking distance. When I decided to leave the area, there were many Ubers available within minutes. Parking is expensive. $25 a night.

I had such a great time staying at this hotel. You truly don’t even need to leave the building to have a nice vacation. The staff is friendly and understanding; they allowed us to hang out in the lobby after hours as long as we weren’t too loud. The rooftop pool is the place to be!!! Everyone is kind and I loved that I didn’t feel the strictness I feel at some hotels (it was still controlled, though!). They have a bar at the pool as well and you can easily charge the drinks to your room. The pina colada was the best I’ve had in so long (usually they’re too sweet for me). The rooms are very clean and spacious. They have a Starbucks in the building too 😍 The only issue we had was our car was FULL of bird poop after using the valet service. We had to get a $22 car wash (had to go through twice) and were not comped or anything for this. So, I’d recommend parking your own car or requesting a covered area if you don’t want to risk that.

The pool is a good reason to stay at this hotel. It is so clean, the pool itself and surrounding seating. And there is food service. They place towel covers over the chairs and there are towels available. It is more for cooling off since no deep end and not large enough to swim laps. Oh, and the rooms and conference area are nice.

Gorgeous hotel with great service. The location was right next to the freeway. It was so noisy, we could not sleep. The beds were extremely comfortable. I thought the night view would be gorgeous because we were on the 10th floor. However, both of my photos show you can only see a glare. The hotel served us a private breakfast for our group that was excellent and relaxing in a room just for our group.

We ere here for a birthday event. And we were going to self park, but talking with Devon he convinced us to do Valet. Normally in other places they don’t tell you the price or explain the process, but no Devon did, which I appreciated as to finding out in the morning. He had a gentleman open my wife down. It was great services. And let us know where to check in and where the elevator were. Thank you.

I really loved this hotel. Arrived at Midnight, staff was friendly and waiting on us. Room was perfect. The conceirge lounge was a great place for coffee/breakfast. The staff really wanted to help in any way we needed. I will be returning to this hotel and I will be looking forward to it.

The location is ideal for a visitor who is planning to visit the zoo & aquarium or the local park. The service is unmatched from valet to check in and housekeeping. They also have Starbucks inside the hotel from 5 AM to 5 PM daily. Everyone was great! We at at local breakfast spots because the beds were so comfortable that we slept through breakfast both days!

Overall this hotel is good. The location, room and outside look is nice. But their service should improve. Here are some of the points you may remember before renting: 1. There is no microwave to warm your food inside the room. One general microwave is set on the 3rd floor at the ice room. It is very weird to bring your food to 3rd floor for warm. 2. Their service is not good. I have asked for something and waited in a busy time but no one arrived within 45 minutes. Then again I called and one lady said that my request was not placed. Then she again placed my asking and one guy arrived after 10 minutes. In the mean time, at least 1 hour has been wasted.

I really like this Marriott. As a Titanium Elite I spend quite a lot of time in Marriott properties and thought this particular hotel was fantastic. Rooms are great. If you have to be in Omaha, the location can't be beat. Parking is easy. The staff at the checkin desk are phenomenal.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Downtown in Omaha. We attended a conference here and their venue was excellent. They also catered lunches for the conference and their food was delicious. We really appreciated how clean the rooms were, how nice the staff were, and how the conference was fully encapsulated at this venue. They have Starbucks, a restaurant, a bar, and more

Great, friendly, helpful staff. Very nice and clean. Only complaint was the extremely cheap toilet paper and the community microwave! Fix those 2 things and this would be a 5 🌟 hotel! There was one guy that really stood out, his energy and excitement for serving others was unmatched!

We shot a wedding and the couple stayed here 5/28/2022. It was a wonderfully lit hotel! -Tons of natural light and modern artistic decor. -Plenty of backdrops -Hotel was large enough that wedding party didn't have to cross paths. -Bridal suite was amazing! -Stairways made for an awesome first look location.

Valet service is top notch! Israel and Ryan are charming & so helpful. I am sorry I can't remember the name of the driver who shuttled us from the hotel to The Holland Center Friday night, because he went over and above workibg with us. A bit of a snafu in picking us up / figuring out where to meet, but he was gracious & drove us to the condo we were supposed to stay at so we could retrieve our luggage and move to the Marriott.

We chose the Marriott in the Capitol District as the hotel for our daughter's wedding block. I can tell you that they went above and beyond to meet all our needs. Staff was friendly and responsive. Food was excellent in the dining room and what we can catered to the rooms. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Their team did an outstanding job of taking care of us from start to finish!

My husband and I stayed here for one night and had the best treatment. We woke up late therefore missing breakfast and Reese set us up! He recommended a nice breakfast/brunch place that was amazing and even sent us on the shuttle with Belinda who was such a sweet person. The hotel is nice and clean, zero noise in room, and very customer friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks to all of this staff. Meleah was awesome as well 😊

Beautiful hotel. Decor and ambiance is wonderful. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are roomy. Bathrooms are large, love the showerheads, and really like the soap provided. Literally nothing to complain about. Loved everything. The bar in the lobby is amazing! The bartenders made some delicious drinks! I do with it was a bit more affordable. We would stay here every time if possible.

Gave 4 stars due to the rooftop pool being shallow and small with hardly any room to even be in the pool. The pool also felt like the floor inside the pool was coming up (it seemed to float and would move when walked on). Food was just ok, room service was quick and the rooms were super quiet (soundproof).

Great hotel near everything in Downtown Omaha. Many local bars and restaurant close by. The hotel offers many different types of restaurants throughout the lobby and area. I valet parked which was convenient and easy. You can just scan the QR code on the valet ticket and send a text for your car to be pulled around and digital tip. The hotel offers an outdoor 3rd deck pool which I did not have the chance to try out but looked fun. Many of the rooms in the hotel offer great views of downtown Omaha skyline. I stayed on the 10th floor and the water pressure was great.

Stay was exceptional. The presidential suite had amazing views of the city with plenty of space to entertain and enjoy the stay. Centrally located within walking distance to everything downtown. Silvere and Graham were attentive and made the stay perfect. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is beautiful. The desk staff is awesome and not only answered our questions, but were engaging. We valet parked our car and when we were leaving Shane took our ticket and RAN to get our car. We were on our way in no time, thanks to him. Great experience!

You have to pay for wifi here... What time period are y'all living in? Get free wifi. You look silly. Friendly service and nice decor in hotel, decent hotel breakfast prices. Carlos the bartender was excellent. Seems like more of a conference center than anything. Rooms had no water pressure in the bathroom sink, barely any water came out. Worn out shower head was very leaky. Nice amenities.

This property is living on past, positive reviews. Every time you mention something that is an issue, you will get the "excuse" that they have good reviews and that YOU are a "bad customer." Don't ever make the mistake of staying during a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas. You will pay 2-3X what other local hotels are charging and receive BARE MINIMUM services. Hotel is SEVERELY short-staffed. Really, th the hotl should be CLOSED. This is not a hotel that Marriott should be associated with. Someone at Corporate should go in, close the place down, and start OVER with a team that understands Marriott's commitment to service. There are people at the front desk that are down right rude. Silvere was incredibly rude to me during the first night of our stay, and I just had a conversation with Reese, and I am certain he does not understand Marriott philosophy on guest service or satisfaction. In many ways, this "hotel" wants to run like it is still the height of the pandemic: You need supplies? We'll place them in a garbage bag outside your room. You want food? Our servers aren't here. So, eat in your room. You want to order off our menu? Well, we're out of most things. And, don't dare get upset, because "we have great reviews" and "we try to look on the positive side of things." Just don't bother. It's not worth your time to hear all of the excuses. If you are a business trabeler, the Club Lounge was closed for 10 days. "Why bother for 2-3 guests", I was told. "We're only at 27% occupancy." My opinion is this: If you don't want to run a hotel, please close and let someone else run a REAL hotel that provides service.

We have had the pleasure of producing multiple of our client's weddings at Marriott Capitol District. Their ballroom is great for large guest counts and they provide high end food and beverage. It's also a convenient space for wedding guests to stay. We look forward to designing and producing more events at Marriott Capitol District! Lindsay Martian Event Planner, Lovestruck Events

I stayed at this Courtyard by Marriott location in Omaha, in the Old Market for nearly two weeks for work training. The second night I was there I a one in the early morning to several bites on my arm. I thought it was bed bugs at first, but I found three spiders in my bed sheets. One dead, and two alive. I caught one of the spiders and took it down the the overnight desk attendant in one of the hotel’s glasses covered with a hotel coaster. I end d up with 9 bites that made me feel very ill. I never was given the chance to move to a different room, never heard from the manager about the situation despite contacting customer service repeatedly, and never recieved any kind of apology. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Went downtown with friends this weekend and used valet at Marriott. The service was great! Hunter was so friendly and did an amazing job. We didn’t wait long for our car which was nice compared to other places. Definitely will choose them again.

Older hotel that has clearly been rejuvenated. Good bar and lounge area, nice outdoor pool, modern clean rooms. Location is a bit removed from the old market but only a 10 minute walk; the right amount to burn a little of that amazing food and drink off after exploring the place.

  • 4/5 Kenneth W. 11 months ago on Google
The rooms were very clean. I like how well the curtains blocked out the light in the morning. However, the water pressure in the shower and the temperature of the water could be better. Otherwise, this is a nice hotel and it is a good choice if you come to Omaha.

Well me and my two grandchildren stayed we had a wonderful time one of the many reasons we had a great time was because of the staff, they were very helpful especially the valet Ryan and Tanner. They were polite and respectful, they were also ever so kind as to point me and the kids in the direction of are room, I hope to see more young gentlemen like them around.

Great experience. Had so much fun last weekend. I came to my company party and had to leave my vehicle overnight. Gabe from valet brought my car around help me with the items that I won on the raffles. He assure me that it was okay to leave my vehicle overnight and that the important thing is to get home safe. Love how kind and understanding he was and valet.
