We
came
to
Omaha
this
weekend
for
a
much
needed
relaxing
getaway.
We
booked
this
room
because
"hey,
it's
a
Hilton!"
Boy
were
we
wrong
and
regretted
our
decision
to
not
pay
a
little
more
for
a
different
hotel
downtown.
Right
away
we
noticed
the
front
desk
staff
were
not
friendly
upon
check
in...(if
you're
going
to
work
in
the
hospitality
industry,
you
should
probably
be
friendly
to
the
guests...)The
room
was
not
clean,
there
was
dust
on
the
TV
stand
and
the
desk
to
the
point
you
could
use
your
finger
to
write
in
the
dust.
The
air
conditioner
was
SO
LOUD,
it
literally
sounded
like
there
were
rocks
or
marbles
in
the
vent.
I
got
up
around
midnight
and
turned
it
all
the
way
off
because
the
noise
was
keeping
us
awake
but
that
of
course
just
resulted
in
a
hot
hotel
room.
Not
only
that
noise
but
you
could
hear
water
pipe
noise
all
dang
night
It
was
terrible.
Everything
about
our
stay
was
so
disappointing,
and
it's
not
like
it
was
super
cheap
on
a
Saturday
night.
Upon
check
out,
I
expressed
my
disappointment
and
concerns
to
the
front
desk
staff,
whom
appeared
she
could
care
less
but
also
said
"I
did
get
other
complaints
from
people
within
that
block
of
rooms
because
of
the
noise.
"
To
me,
it
sure
seems
like
if
you
know
there's
a
problem
and
it
wasn't
just
us
then
they
should've
done
something
to
make
it
right...Sadly,
she
did
not.
She
basically
told
me
to
have
a
good
day
and
there
was
nothing
she
could
do.
Super
bummed,
and
it
definitely
did
not
make
our
relaxing
weekend
getaway
actually
relaxing.
Even
more
disappointing
when
the
staff
don't
try
to
remedy
the
situation.
