We recently stayed at this Holiday Inn Express & Suites from 07/22/22 to 07/25/22 for a special family event. I have to be honest the reviews are the reason why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival and our stay, we were very pleased. The breakfast was great every morning. The pool was open and very clean. Everything in our room was new and getting fresh towels was no problem. The beds were very comfortable. I slept like a baby in our quiet surroundings. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I normally walk everything and had no problem walking around the building safety. I manage to get 3 miles in before starting my day. The whole entire visit was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this hotel. I would like to say thank you to the following people who I personally meet. Chris Johnson - GM Whitney/Linette - Front Desk Maria/Brenda - Breakfast Looking forward to staying on my next visit. Teresa from South Carolina

We’ve stayed in many hotels and this was your typical Holiday Inn: clean, good enough breakfast, safe, etc. A few things stood out: Most of the staff were very good at customer service; the South loves its biscuits and gravy and this location had good sausage gravy; this location had an indoor pool so there were tons of families with children using it and little puddles in the elevator. It had a laundry room just down the hall from the lobby which I used; the machines took quarters (we stayed at a Hampton with laundry machines that took credit cards on this trip!). Our room, 509, was near the elevators, had comfortable queen beds, an older tub shower; Dove dispensers for hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.; and a microwave. The last Holiday Inn we stayed in last week didn’t have a microwave in the room and gave little Dove bar soaps. This location does NOT give daily housekeeping services unless you ask. Another reviewer raved about the omelets and I like them but they are the frozen type reheated; they are not made to order. They DO have stevia, almond milk, Chobani Greek yogurt and bananas so if you’re eating healthily those are a plus. We stayed during the first week of summer break for this area so the breakfast area was a bit tight with families. I wish they had a Hampton Inn setup with lots of smaller tables because at this Holiday Inn there were about 4-6 large tables and single people sat at those so it made it a little awkward space-wise. I know in other countries strangers sit at a large table together but if I were to sit with another single person at a large table in America I’d feel the need to ask permission.

If I could give zero stars for customer service I would. We rolled into Omaha late as we were on a 17 hour road trip and needed somewhere to rest our head. My significant other and I waited for a good five minutes at the front desk before being "greeted" by an older gentleman in a blue collared shirt with four stains on it. He did not speak to us, I had to initiate the conversation. I asked if there were rooms available and the price he then said yes and mumbled a price. I said, "Great! We would like one for the night." He then proceeded to say, "Credentials?" I was confused, did he want to know my college degrees? Credentials behind my name? So, I asked him to clarify and he said, "Credentials" flat and without noticing or acknowledging that I am confused as to what he is asking of me. I have three college degrees and feel that I should not be this confused while trying to check into a hotel to get six hours of sleep. He then proceeded to get upset, have an attitude, and raise his voice. I explained to him that I did not know what he meant by "Credentials" and he said, "Drivers license and credit card. You know, the normal things needed to check into a hotel." I asked him not to be rude with me and that I did not understand what he was asking of me. He continued to have a rude tone and say its normal for hotels to ask for this as he clearly sees me reach into my wallet to get the items he requested. His tone is far from nice and my boyfriend decided to step in and step up for me and told him to not talk to me like that as I have remained respectful. This hotel staff proceeded to get upset asking us to leave and he ran to the back room leaving us out there. I am appalled that this company lets someone work directly with paying customers. I am not sure if it is normal in Nebraska for hotel staff to ask for "Credentials" and that is to be a known thing as to what someone is asking, but the way my significant other and I were treated is not okay. We stayed at a different hotel (purposely avoiding this) on our way back home in Omaha and that hotel staff asked for "Drivers license and credit card". I am going to file a formal complaint with the BBB as there were some racial concerns we saw with the hotel staff as well as just common decency and respect for people. I just wanted to be sure I write this review to save someone from checking in on the late shift to experience this type of behavior.

Excellent hotel and excellent service. The first night our ac was broken and they immediately got us to another room. The lady at reception even walked to my room on the spot to see if she could help. The floors were a bit dirty but I assume it's because of all the traffic. Breakfast was great. They have a variety to pick, from pancakes to eggs to cereal or oats. If you're looking for a good hotel, I strongly recommend this one.

Upon check-in I would give this property 3 or 4 stars. The staff was great. The room could use some maintenance. The bathroom mirror doesn't seem to be secure. The toilet flushes really slow. Overall the rest of the room seems to be okay.

Zero stars if I could. I made a reservation online and when I arrived late at night to check in, the front desk was unattended. I called several times and still no one came. There was one other guest in the lobby who got tired of waiting and left. I continued to wait and it was over half an hour before someone finally came to the desk. I showed my reservation and she would not let me check in because I’m under 21. She explained (very rudely) that this is company policy and the same would be true of any other hotel in the state. Thankfully this actually is not true- I found another hotel and was glad to go there instead.

Very nice place to stay everyone from staff to housekeeping to front desk are all so cheery and helpful. Thank you for the great stay here, we'll be back I'd were visiting this area again. Highly recommend staying here for an overnight trip or for several days. Their breakfast was better than other hotels that have offered a free breakfast. We had scrambled eggs, sausage patties grilled, biscuits and gravy, cream cheese and strawberry strudel rolls, fresh delicious hot coffee, cranberry and Orange and apple juice, cereal, oatmeal, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, toast, bagels the works. All so good all available from 6:30 to 9:30am. Beds were very soft and comfortable with two types of pillows to choose from firm or soft. Wheelchair Accessible room was on point worked perfect for my mom that uses a rollator walker and was able to push it all around the room comfortably and into and out of the bathroom. Also the sit down shower was even better and even offered in the bathroom Dove soaps, hair shampoo and conditioner.

Great hotel! Very clean and friendly staff! I called an hour before my alloyed check in time and they said they already had a room ready! Clean! And a great continental breakfast. Location is not the best for attractions if you’re on vacation, but easy access to downtown!

The pictures are very misleading. This is not a newer hotel like the pictures show. We stay at holiday inn express hotels frequently and are always more than satisfied. This hotel needs some work. The elevator smelled like smoke. The front desk lady did the bare minimum. We were not given enough towels in our room to shower, there were no towels in the swim area. To make it worse, the swim area had doors to the outside completely propped open for anyone to enter. The actual "locked" door to the pool area was not activated at all, so anyone could walk right in even from outside. My family and I almost left within an hour of being here. Don't recommend, especially for the outrageous prices!

Staff is great. Had a few flies and ladybugs get into our room through the window but they were harmless. A used k-cup was still in the Keurig machine when we checked in, so we assumed it hadn’t been cleaned/sanitized and didn’t use it. We also had no clock which is slightly inconvenient. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had in all our travels. The lobby ‘convenience store’ has pretty much all you’ll need in a bind including the best snacks, some meds and frozen goods. Water always runs nice and hot and the option of a firm or soft bed pillow is a plus! Great selection of tv channels, good lighting options and the staff is polite and works hard. Pool, workout room and lobby with a tv and fireplace. Walking distance to a Walgreens. Did I mention? The breakfast is the best, with omelets, pancakes made on the spot, bacon, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, fruit, juices and cinnamon rolls.

Very nice location and great customer service. The room is very nice but need a little TLC. Staying in a double queen room and definitely looks like families with young or adolescent kids stayed there. Scratches in the doors, chipped paint on the walls. Overall the room looks very good and modern, and beds are very comfortable.

I booked this room about two months in advance. But through a 3rd party service. So I was unsure how we got the room for wheelchair access and shower. So that had to be switched right away. I would not want to have that room and if someone that actually needed it came and it was unavailable as I did not have a disabled individual with me. Not sure how that was all mixed up. Upon booking this room at least two months in advanced and getting he wrong room. The extra pillows and blanket request of course was not there either. Hotel was centrally located, close to most places restaurants, about 10 mins from the zoo. The only issue is it’s on a one way. So only one way out of there. After checking in went to put a few things in the fridge and there was some old ice cream snicker bar in there and was melted. Had to clean that up before I could place what I needed to in there. Housekeeping issue. We visited the pool that evening where there were at least 3 unsupervised boys in there. About age 10-11. That were in there pulling each others pants down showing their business and fighting in the pool uncaring about the younger kiddos. I am sure if one of them got her we would have saw the parents then. The breakfast was actually great for the kiddos. Many options. Beds were okay. But very very broken in and sunk in so I had trouble getting comfortable. Good thing my stay was only for two days. I did appreciate that everything in the room like soap, hand wash lotions, shampoo and conditioner was all Dove brand! That was nice.

Never have I gotten to a hotel and at first glance knew this was not a good one. Upon arrival things were very banged up, there were very odd men and people all around the building, people were getting let in through doors without keys, the hotel smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke, and the room was not clean at all. The supposed white tile floors were brown, and there were brown stains on the wall, everything about this hotel was sketchy and gross. We checked in, went to eat, came back to the hotel to get our things and booked elsewhere. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Super clean.. but no disinfectant sterile smell. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Easy check in/out. Quiet. Accommodating staff. Lots of little touches. Did I say super clean?

Well hotel has been renovated, it’s still an old hotel. I’m 5’ 6” and I was still 3-4 inches from seeing out of it. The room was so small and bathroom door stuck so much that it woke my wife up when I tried to open it up. The breakfast was very good and checkin was good. Would we stay here again. NO. Asked for a room away from elevator, guess what, they put us beside the elevator. Wasn’t a good experience.

Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but was well stocked. Cons: Pool was a bit chilly but the children had fun anyways. Fridge had no freezer. Toilet in our room made a loud whining sound every time it flushed

The room was comfortable and clean, nothing extra special. Service at the front desk was excellent. The clerk was very busy with people making last minute reservations due to the incoming snow storm. Location was perfect for my purposes, literally next to the office where I had an appointment. I would stay here again.
