I stopped in for a snack and coffee. I ordered a cold brew and almond scone. The cold brew is strong as it should be. The scone was good but not great. The environment is pretty cool. Good background music. Books and trinkets available. Definitely LGBTQ and Christian friendly. They support the local community. The day I visited 10% of sales were going to a local elementary school. I love the heart of the place and will be back for sure.

Very nice space with cheap lattes. It wasn't my favorite latte but the price felt very affordable. Service was polite but not overly chatty. The first time I went they refused to serve because they were having a service (which was fine, wasn't a big deal). Located in the old market. They have a parking lot that you can pay to park in right next door along with the usual meter parking in the front.

Sweet staff and good drink selection. Never seen a place quite like this before; a combination of cafe, bookstore, and empowering space! I wish there were more places like this in the world.

It is one of my to go coffee shops in downtown Omaha. Great for a day of studying, working, resting. I recommend “smash the patriarchy” especially. Being an immigrant muslim woman I always feel welcomed there.

Awesome little community center with a great mission. You can get coffee, tea, snacks, and books here. Couches and plenty of tables line the street facing wall. Not the best coffee in town - the drinks are your quintessential small town overly sugary concoctions. But, the ice tea was perfect for an afternoon. I’ll be back to support it again, just because of their welcoming space, and beautiful co-working options.

This is not a book store, this coffee shop sells Christian literature and a touch of fourth wave feminist books. The coffee tastes like instant espresso powder mixed with water. You should save your time and money and skip this place.

This is my go-to Old Market home base. Staff are super friendly, drinks are great, locally made pastries. Plus, part of their profits go to a different local charity each month!

I have purchased 8 books here and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been a hit. I trust their shelves! Plus its a great place to get some work done, to have hard convos with friends, to write or to read. Coffee is good; hot cocoa is great too. Def check out the books!

We got some great coffee and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of coffee shop. They were hosting a book reading today that kids were having fun interacting with!

The Apostle Paul wraps up 1 Corinthians 13, proclaiming, "And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love." Each of these three qualities ( faith, hope, and love) are to be found in abundance at Urban Abbey along with light bites, a bookstore, weekly church services, and some mighty tasty coffee!

I love this place as all that it is. A coffee shop, a book store, and a radically progressive church. It's also a beautiful, welcoming and relaxing space.

I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop and it’s one of my favorite places in the old market! I went into the coffee shop on Wednesday this week and was met with the kindest staff. The barista was so helpful when I didn’t know what to get and helped me make a decision. The drink was SUPERB. I am definitely coming back again soon 💕

Absolutely love the coffee and service here. You won't find kinder baristas anywhere else. They have great choices for drinks and snacks. They also have a nice selection of fair trade items and books to purchase. They do excellent work in the community providing a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
