Great zoo. Very large, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Nice spray areas for cooling off as you walk through. Recommend bringing your own food and drinks as it's pricey there. Get your tickets online for the fastest entry.

Omaha zoo is wonderful. They cared animal very well. Animals are cool and have a good body condition and enrichment. You can see animal closely. Aquarium is also amzing. There are big turtles, sharks and so on. Highly recommend here

What a zoo experience! Loved it! Some pointers. I would recommend parking on the north side and arriving at open 9 am. Once the park is super busy around lunchtime, it’s really packed, and lines are nuts. The train is a fun experience for the kids and catching a breather, sitting for a bit after walking miles (we asked about 5); the train doesn’t give many great views for animals, so mostly just an experience. They had lift chairs we didn’t try, but we’re told it is a better option to see animals in the zoo on the African side. My wife and kids LOVED feeding the stingrays and would do that every time we visit.

This was my second visit but the third for my family. Even in these difficult days of having to adapt everything to the pandemic the Omaha Zoo is amazing. It's not perfect...I have my complaints. However they are clearly trying the best they can and succeeding. Running a zoo was hard enough pre-2020! I can't imagine now... Love the updates that were done in just the few years between my visits!

Wonderful zoo for all ages and physical abilities. I did not see animals in cages. All displays were unbelievably realistic. The Desert Dome and Rainforest were wonderful. We were there for 1.5 days and didn't see it all! Best zoo I've seen.

This is a very nice, clean, and well organized zoo with outstanding exhibits. The animals all have plenty of room in their habitats, and they are very well maintained. I live in Chicago, and we have Brookfield Zoo in which is also nice, but there is no comparison to the Omaha zoo. Don't pass up the opportunity to visit if you get the chance.

I really enjoyed learning about the different species of animals the Zoo has to offer. Certain areas were closed due to upgrades. The aquarium was awesome.

This is a good place to hang out with kids, full of many different animals and fishes. It’s huge, lots to do in there, staff are friendly. Pretty easy to navigate.

Most fantastic Zoo! An absolute must for all ages. The displays are apropriarem and the animals are well cared for. The personnel is most helpful and quite knowledgeable! Pack a lunch or eat at the restaurant, their hamburgers and fries are delicious! Have fun!

Awesome zoo. Animals were in good condition and seemed happy. Very informative if you have an interest in animals other than humans. The animals were well trained to keep themselves in view. Madagascar dark room was my favorite

Very neat experience! A little crowded but most popular zoo's are! I loved every bit of it, all we missed was the Zebra's.

The best zoo in USA. Definitely a must seen place to visit if you are in Omaha. You need 5 or more hours to walk and see all the animals here. The aquarium and Jungle expositions are the best!

Went a 10 am and was not crowded at all which was a great thing with a 3 yr old grandchild. Does get quite busy in the afternoons and on weekends.

Great plenty to do even though some exhibits are closed . Tram ride is free to get around . Splash park is closed. But more in it's still fun 😷❀❀❀

My family and I had a great time at the Omaha Zoo. It was a great weekend away. I had to take the kids out, but I would do it again because of my experience.

Omaha zoo is one of the best zoos I have visited. The zoo had unique exhibits such as desert dome. This is the first time I have seen a desert exhibit in a zoo. Also they had emperor penguin, which I haven't seen in any aquariums. Best place to see animals from different habitat. Make use of the tram to cover most exhibits. Otherwise, it would be difficult to see all exhibits by walk. In any case, you may need 2 days to see all the exhibits.

The zoo is really good however they got rid of all the good food. They used to have unique foods that fit the themes but they only do hotdogs and burgers everywhere now. The pretzel that's very expensive used to have 3 cheese and now it's just cheddar. Kinda disappointing

Love this place! On the map there's schedules for training and enhancements for different animals. Close up look at sea lions, tigers, ect. The cheetah was a very interesting experience. Don't rush and it's a great experience.

Great zoo with some fantastic exhibits. Our favorites were the sea lions, elephants (2 babies!), tigers, lions, the aquarium was insane, feeding the stingrays and the gorillas. You could really break the zoo up into two days. We went in late November and it was only open from 10-4 and some exhibits were closed and we almost didn't make it all the way through in 6 hours.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary we just celebrated. We're from Kansas City, Mo. When you get to the Omaha zoo there's screens to purchase tickets but you can only use a card and that card has to have a chip otherwise you have to go to guest services to purchase tickets. I've you ever there's a huge doom to the left, we spent about 45 minutes in there. Down where the carousel was there were a lot of concession stands but none of them were open, I'm assuming because it was during the week but it seems that's where all the good snacks are. This zoo is better than any zoo I've been to so far and if you're from Kansas City or ever been to the Kansas City zoo then you know. We spent 3 hours in this zoo and seen animals at every exhibit and they were building more. Definitely worth the money and time spent, we're going back with the kids soon.

Half the exhibits and food places were closed. Not that many animals. Didn't see any showing of animals. Bit disappointed driving all the way up here. The Kansas city zoo is better.

We arrived at 09:30 and spent all day long there. We left at 16:30 and was still unable to see all of the zoo would recommend a two day visit.

It was a long walk very tired at the end. But it's worth the price. Remembering when my parents would bring me to this zoo. There building more to it

One of the best Zoos in the world. Constantly adding and remodeling exhibits. Great landscaping. As most Omahan's we have a membership and often come just for a walk.

Amazing 5 star Zoo! Been to San Diego, Salt Lake City, Portland & others and this is outstanding! Super appreciate they don’t seem to try to stick it to you on pricing like Disney does.

We love the zoo!! My kids would live here if it was possible. My daughter loves the giraffes and my son is in love with the aquarium. So much to see even if you get a pass and go once a week! Seriously, get the pass, it's worth it!!

When we we're stationed in Nebraska we lived at the zoo! What an amazing place! Even in the winter you had somewhere to go.

This is the secret to a better zoo experience. The south gate is usually packed. A bit of a walk to the main exhibits from this entry, but there's still plenty to see nearby.

Needs to be open when there is literally like nowhere to park in all of the alphabetical lanes it's a long walk to the South main when you can only find a spot clear down to the north gate and you have little ones and before we get to the main gate little ones and adults are exhausted before getting to the south gate or before making into the zoo
