Zorinsky Lake Recreational area is owned by the City of Omaha and maintained by the Army Corp of Engineers. Zorinsky is one of the gems of Omaha. The lake is spring fed and clean. Its a great place for fishing, kayaking and swimming(in the beach area only). The trails around Zorinsky are good for biking and hiking but it does tend to get quite crowded on nice days. This park and trail is absolutely amazing, I go around this lake consistently. The trail is paved and great for biking, walking, or running. As well, the lake is great for boating, kayaking, fishing, etc. They also have plenty of bathrooms if needed and lefty if parking. The amount of benches are a little scarce.

Great Omaha Lake with trails perfect for bicycling, walking, running, jogging. There are plenty of outdoor activities to do at Zorinsky Lake Park. Perfect place for a lunch break or to have a picnic at. Great place to bring your family for a family reunion, birthday celebration, community meeting, church outdoor gathering, or with friends. There are soccer fields, playgrounds, fishing on the lake (with a fishing license), lots of free roaming wildlife like deer, hawks, eagles, fish, and other wildlife. Just a great place to visit and I always feel better physically and emotionally after I leave Zorinsky. Great place to go to take a breather from life and get your mind right. You can also go on long walks by the lake with your significant other. Visit Zorinsky Lake Park and see what your missing out on. It’s beautiful.
