A beautiful and fitting memorial dedicated by Harry Truman. It remembers all our military from WW II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is an absolute gem! The roses are so pretty! And it is a nice and quiet place to walk or reflect. I really enjoy visiting the rose garden.

This place was beautiful! I brought my infant on a stroll to the park, and we hung out for a while under a tree. The rose garden (its October) still had really pretty blooms on all the roses. The memorial was really quite the sight. We will definitely be returning in the future. There is plenty of room in the park to stretch out and sky gaze, and enough trees to keep you from getting cooked by the sun.

Very well-tended garden with lots of shade and artwork.

WWII monument, other smaller war monuments, beautiful including setting. WWII sailor kissing nurse 25' statue is amazing! Rose garden is an added bonus.

Beautiful area to visit! We went there for a photo shoot for maturity pictures for my daughter and loved the gardens and area!

It is memorial for world War two and Korean Vietnam veterans worth seeing suprised that it isn't more publicized if wasn't for the sailor statue wouldn't have know it was there worth the tripto pay respect to the men and women that served.GOD BLESS THEM THANK YOU FOR YOUR SRVICE

I was gonna get married here, so I think it's very peaceful and pretty. No place to park tho, a huge park, if u wanna see fireworks here so many places to see that and a concert

Peaceful, meaningful with a lot of ground to fly a kite, have a picnic, play soccer or take your children or your dog on a leash. Lots of trees but mostly lots of green grass in the summer. There's a rose garden and a sidewalk to walk around the beautiful memorial dedicated to the soldiers or a drive around it. The snow in winter is breathtaking.

Stop and smell the roses

A beautiful, peaceful place to spend some time admiring all the roses. All the years I'd lived in Omaha + driven by, it was my first visit + well worth it. My age now + good weather made is most enjoyable. I don't believe youngsters would get the same feelings. I didn't see a playground close.

I love walking my dog at Memorial park. She loves it too! Can get a good walk in away from traffic on well maintained land. I haven't had problems with ticks after walking here, like I have at many of the area lakes.
