Manager as well as her staff working between 05:30am to 07:30 am is friend and greet you with a smile. Gym floors and restrooms / locker rooms are well maintained. It's nice to come in and see the manager is working just as hard or harder than her staff. I enjoy working out at this location and it is very conveniently located

Great small gym. Clean. Well maintained. It is not crowded during the day. Open 24 hrs 4 days a week and closes around 10pm in the remaining 3 days. Membership is not expensive. A convenient app to check in.

It is a clean facility and usually not over crowded. The facility has good hours so that it fits into my schedule to help me achieve my fitness goals. I have lost a total of 60 pounds since starting. Been maintaining that for just over a year now. So excited!

I like the machines and the place in whole. Do NOT like that EVERY TIME that I come here with my husband as a guest ( Monday, Wednesday and Friday around 1.30 pm, you can check what stuff members work here) , a stuff guy stops me at the front desk for 10-15 minutes asking.the same questions about my phone, even what my accent is from, last time they forgot to ask me to sign "liability" form so today they distracted me from work out again , but the guy who wanted my signature was too busy talking on the phone so I had to wait..I come here for work out not to waste 15 min at their desk, my husband is a member and has right to bring any guest with him but it is getting too annoying to be their " guest".

I’m not a gym rat. I don’t even really want to be here... but since we’ve all got to try to stay in shape, it might as well be someplace clean, friendly, non-intimidating and plenty of amenities. Planet Fitness at 156th and Q is the best in all categories. Just go, get it done and feel good about yourself! You’re worth it!

I joined a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it so far. They have a lot of cardio machines and weights. I will say sometimes when I'm ready to move to the next machine someone is on it because they may only have on of that machine but that's going to be anywhere I suppose. I also go at a busier time so it doesn't bother me to much. They have a cool room where it's a 30min workout and you just do all the machines in that room. It's a nice resource if you haven't worked out before and don't know what you are doing (like me). The staff has been nice and I enjoy the app where I can look at different work outs and how to use the machines so I don't look completely crazy on the floor. I also love that you can see how busy it is. I would 100% recommend PF!

This is a great gym and lots of machines and different workouts you can do. The black card membership is worth it for all that you get, I especially like the massage chair. Although to do the massage chair, you have to get a token from the front from an employee. About 3/4 of the time I have went into the planet fitness, there was no one at the front. So either I had to wait a looong time or I can't use my black card membership.

Many pieces of workout equipment are broken with no “out of order” sign on them. I have pointed out to the manager and staff and I get blank looks in return. Three staff including the manager are standing around up front without anything to do or customers to help and no one can be bothered to come look at the broken machines so I can show staff what needs to be fixed. I’ve been told “work orders have been placed” before, but still no changes. Also, check paper towels in women’s bathroom and wall handsanitizer.

Always a great workout, love the spa for blackcard members. Me and the lady enjoy it

The manager Chris is really working hard to create a great gym inviornment he listens to all concerns. Great gym. Been a member since day 1.

Your equipment is rather new and the place is clean. The locker room for men is nice. I walk in the place and the person behind the counter greets me. What more could I ask for. This is the fourth place I have exercised since 1989. The only thing I miss is the whirlpool that all the previous places had. Yet I am quite happy with my Walnut Grove Planet Fitness.

Ladies DO NOT go to this gym. I overheard a male worker making uncomfortable body related comments to ladies working out. I specifically talked to 3 ladies and asked them if they were okay and they all said they were uncomfortable during their workout because of him. He was wearing glasses a ball cap and long shorts. I hope the gym takes some action about this!

I give this place five stars because for the most part, it’s just a nice laid-back workout experience, it’s extra great win the real ones get the ox cord and the playlist is good. Most of the times just make sure to bring your own headphones. Hopefully you won’t show up, when a regional manager is there, they are sticklers on all the little rules that may make your workout a bit more stressful and not laid-back. For the most part, the staff just stays out your way and keeps things stocked and cleaned. It is great to be a black card member there to be able to take a guess with you every time you work out. Don’t come here, expecting towels, and a bunch of frills , also there are no traditional benchpress free weights. They are all with a Smith machine. That being said, they are plenty of equipment items to get your workout in. They have free weight, dumbbells, and a good pull up bar. 90% of the time you’ll get a friendly greeting from the staff as well.

Really like this place! Staff is friendly, space is really clean, equipment all works and there is a lot of it! Enjoying the massage chair and water massage too! Definitely more to offer than I thought there would be.

I'm very impressed with your facility at Walnut Grove. Your staff does a great job keeping it clean and keeping the equipment safe. I especially like the personal touch some of your staff provide greeting you when you arrive and wishing you a nice day when you leave. One staff member, in particular, makes a point of learning everyone's name. It's nice to know Chris cares and that little gesture removes the stigma of just being another person who contributes to the income of an organization. I hope you recognize people like him who go the extra mile.I gave you a 9 instead of a 10 because of the turnover in your staff. Not sure why that happens but it's not a customer satisfier.

Great machines for various work outs (none broken even), but the staff might as well be paid to stand around doing nothing. Trash is overflowing in two trash cans as I type this review. Three employees are standing around the front desk chatting instead of emptying the trash. I've also often see shortages of paper towel rolls and spray bottles. It's a treasure hunt no one has time for when they are at the gym.

My favorite gym I've ever been to! All the staff are super talkative and helping! Love it.

This is a DIY gym. The location is clean and organized. There is plenty of equipment to use so no waiting. Perfect for my late night needs with their 24hrs open. I have not tried to meet a trainer yet.

Nice low key gym, great for highschoolers to retired. Has everything you need to build muscle and get into shape, and you can't beat the price.

This one dose have newer machines which is nice 👍🏻. This gym is very dirty always wipe down equipment before you begin using it. This location is very busy can’t wait tel the center location is back up and running which will prob be at-least another two months. Staff isn’t the nicest.

Men's showers are nice and hot. It's absolutely perfect. The site has rain showers with lower pressure than normal boring shower heads.

I love this gym! They keep it very clean and keep the equipment in working order. I WISH they had 3 more Smith machines and 2 more seated leg press machines as both of these tend to be occupied almost 100% during peak hours. Either go before 4pm or after 7:30 pm if you don't like to wait for equipment. They do, however, have tons of cardio equipment. I've never had to wait for that! All in all it's a great deal!

Great place to work out ! Joined recently and really love working out here, the judgement free environment really makes a difference and keeps a good atmosphere around. Clean, love the Hydrobeds - The Total body Enhancement and all amenities. Wish that instead of harmful tanning beds there was a sauna and or hot tub . But overall it’s a cool place. Good price for the memebership too.

Amazing rain showers. Nice staff. Sweet black card area. I'm on the road all the time and this place is now one of my favorites.

Been going here for 4 months now and it is a great place to work out. The only complaint I have is the PF 360 room needs more air movement. Was there today trying to use the ab crunch machine and had to stop as it was hard to breath in there.

Very clean and modern looking! Caitlyn signed me up and she was great, very personable , she related very well to senior citizens!! love the full range of equipment and duplicates of most machines so I never have to wait. The locker room is in standing with the premium gyms - like Lifetime. Beautiful locker room. The black card amenities are also great! Don’t know why I didn’t join sooner!! Also it’s true, no intimidation. You get a lot for the money!!

Insanely busy during the week at peak hours specifically after school has started again. While that is understandable and the nature of the beast, closing at 7 P.M. on a Saturday night is ridiculous.

I love this place. I came here for the convenient location. And will keep coming here because it's a great place. It's clean, friendly, and has lots of equipment options. Get in, lift heavy things, and feel good about yourself.

Nice fitness center. I like some of the programs on the machines in Des Moines better. This was a clean place with a lot of options. It was open in Christmas Eve, while the Y was not, so I went here instead. They have a lot that I didn't have time to try. Maybe next time.

Clean place, friendly staff. Just about every machine you could want to use. I only really use this gym for the treadmills between crossfit workouts - $10 per month is cheaper than owning your own equipment and the machines are top notch.

I tried to cancel my membership after the COVID break out and was told to get the balance caught up and it would be canceled. Here we are now Oct. and I've been being charged unknown to me the entire time! $24 a month!! When I called the location they said there were no notes on the account to cancel my membership, but they would do it now. Unfortunately nothing they could do about the charges but I could call my bank and dispute them. Talked with my bank and they said nothing they could do. Customer service past location just says billing issues are location specific.. I would never recommend this to anyone ever again. I am out money because someone didn't do their job.

I love this location! I've been to a few different PF's in different cities and states, but the staff here is unbeatable! There is ample room and machines. Most importantly (as a "normal" person), I feel completely comfortable and at-home coming here!

I have the black card membership and love the extra amenities! The gym is kept pretty clean and tidy. Staff is friendly and the location is great for me. I’d recommend PF to anyone because of their affordability and what they have to offer!

A lot of the aerobic equipment doesnt work and a lot of "lunks" workout here. Meatheads, grunting, groaning, dropping weights. Typical gym.

Signed up over 3 months ago. Facility is clean, bright and has everything I required for my fitness journey at the effect budget. Staff seems nice when you interact with them.

Everything is new at the Walnut Grove location

I love this location! I was a member for a few years at the 132nd and L location in Omaha and NEVER went - it was always so busy and hard to get on a machine. My husband and I joined the Walnut Grove location because it's within walking distance of our home and we love that its smaller, and during our workout times not crazy busy! We never have a problem getting on a machine, and LOVE the Black Card Perks.

For as clean and well maintained that Planet Fitness is... This is an absolute joke that they are the only ones who remain closed. Genesis-Omaha, Crunch, Blue Moon, West-O-Fitness, etc are all open with guidelines in place... Meanwhile, the cleanest gym in the whole industry remains closed. Figure it out!

Inexpensive, clean, and great hours. How can you beat it? The only thing missing is the pool:). Three cheers for the Weir St. staff, with a special call-out for Chandler. He cleans, talks to patrons, and makes Planet Fitness great. Way to go Chandler!

The new staff and Manager Sarah are helpful and keep the club clean and equipment in good order. It’s a good place to do most types of workouts. I’ve found most fellow members to be polite and respectful. Only complaint is the tanning supplies are a bit pricey, so I suggest to buy online where there are better deals.
