We had our 5 month old springer spaniel do her first grooming today at this location. We didn’t get to thank her groomer directly, but they did a nice job and went the extra mile by giving our pup little ear bows without an additional charge. The appointment took about 2.5 hours, and our fur ball was extra soft when she came back to us. Seems like a good place to come back to get her groomed next time! (Before and after photos included)

My dogs groomer, Kyleigh, did such an amazing job! My dog looks amazing and I’m so happy with the service. She cut him exactly how I asked and I can tell he was well taken care of ♥️

I always seem to make it to the store 10 minutes before they close. They have always let me in, and they do not lock the doors until exactly 9:00pm. They are pushy about getting you to the registers by 9:00pm. They announce closing time and let you know that if you are not up front in time, they will shut down the registers. I do not know if they have actually done that to anyone. I would hope not. I understand rushing people to check out, but to actually close down on Shoppers is bad business and downright rude! Big store with a huge selection of everything pets. Associates are helpful, and some are even happy to help me with crickets.

Their stuff is 10x more expensive than almost everywhere else.. the staff didn't even look at me.. didnt welcome me in.. didnt say thank you as I left.. they aren't personal with you at all.. wasn't asked one time if I needed help finding anything..

Ty was wonderful in the grooming department. My little fur baby doesn't like her feet touched, and Ty took her time and gave her the attention she needed to feel comfortable. She did a great job. The pricing was great. I love being able to drop off my pup and they called when she was ready.

72nd Street PetSmart was easy to set appt. Samantha explained other options to go along with my promotional offer. She was very friendly and did the best job for my pet in the 6 years he's been getting groomed.

We get our dog food here. Our dogs have so many allergies. Natural Balance Lamb & Brown Rice (dry & wet). It's limited ingredients.

They always have what I am looking for.. Everything is organized well, and the place is clean. BUT the prices are different at check out than on the floor. This is a major scam with this co. It’s happened more than twice. I bought bird food that was suppose to be $32.99 it rang up for $38.99. I started taking pictures just to be sure I’m not being stolen from and what do you know. The cashier says “oh they must be in the wrong spot”. No I don’t buy that fib. It’s a scam to come here. I did write a good review before but I since had to change it after I discovered they robbed me.

I bought a 20 gallon tank for my yellow belly slider 🐢. The .75 cent cans of cat food are great, my cats love them!

Teia was an amazing groomer to work with! She asked me a bunch of questions on how I wanted Max to look and gave me my realistic options of how it would turn out because he has some mats. She made me feel less embarrassed about Max's separation anxiety and all around I had a wonderful experience!!!

My pink kissing gouramis all have ich because of this stores poor water quality. Poor guys, I hope they live. Its irritating to see this store has never taken up responsibility of the upkeep of their aquatic life over thr last 5 or so years that I stop by here periodically. These fish even appear to be blind due to illness. I'll do my best to nurse them back to health. I think a regional manager needs to get involved here.

You absolutely should not be selling fish knowing and clearly seeing ich in your tanks. That's irresponsible and wrong to pass along to customers. The fish tanks were nasty and full of sick fish and blue green algae... not to mention the very slow and non existent service

The 2 groomers did a great job with my Boxer's nail trimming. I was glad they accepted walk-ins for that, and they worked pretty fast. Thanks!

I took my dog in for a bath and paid double to add on a nail grind. When I picked my dog up her nails had very clearly been clipped but not ground, and she kept shaking her head and scratching at her ear. The shaking and scratching evolved into an ear infection, which PetSmart refused to help me take care of, instead trying to shift blame to anyone but them. Do not bring your pets here if you care about them.

Love PetSmart, I just wish treat trails wasn't so difficult to use. Every time I win a coupon the cashier can never get it to work.

I have shopped and use this store since moving here in 2019. During Covid they lied multiple times on what they would or wouldn't do during the grooming process. When arriving, they changed their story. Now it's 8 months later and visiting stores as usual, called to make an apt and their notes in the system made up more lies and refused me as a customer. Ultimately good for me as I fear they make up and say whatever suits them. No longer visiting a PetSmart anywhere.

I love that this location has Koi, they are so gorgeous! But I was there for my snake Mochi and I was unable to find the frozen mice. Sadly there was only one person working and they were at the cashiers area. So, I left to go to a different location.

I love seeing the animals and they have great supplies. Prices are a little high.

I have 2 cats and frequently pick up litter from here. Due to health issues and limited supply recently I have had to ask for help getting the bucket or box to my cart and then into my car. Today I didn't even have to ask, the cashier offered. They are very helpful.

Always have our Royal Standard Poodle groomed by Mary. Always does a great job. Nice to get senior discount on Tuesdays!

Overall it was good.Staff appeared friendly. The fact they notified me, by email, to pick up my dogs 20 minutes after we had left bothers me.

PetSmart always has a great selection of items needed for my pets. I do feel like it's a little on the more expensive end but that is with everything now a days.

Be sure to check expiration dates on the dog food to save yourself an annoying trip back to return. We also waited outside for our grooming appointment for 15 minutes and then when someone finally came out they had cancelled our appointment because we were 'late.'

Since Eukanuba brand dog food is now imported from Australia it has skyrocketed in price. I was shopping for a replacement brand dog food & had it narrowed down to 2 brands when an associate suggested Authority brand dog food. Turns out it's nearly identical and it's affordable! Switching to Authority now.

It is an alright pet store. However when compared to their competitor, I think Petco has a better selection of items and animals. I also think Petco is better staffed and has friendlier people. This store in particular, seemed kind of dark, especially the back section. That wasn’t particularly welcoming and didn’t make things easy to find. Also, the organization and layout was a bit strange and some of the shelves are a bit high.

Can cat food shelves were pretty much empty except for some. Got what I could. Thinking I might just stick with Chewey..prices are just as comparable and selection is great plus free shipping which saves on gas running around town!!

Brought my daggy for first time and It was better than I thought wise planned out store, with wide aisles, friendly acknowledgeable staff, everywhere, plus it's a great social place to meeting other pet owners. Found the best food navigated really easily, and toys that were unbeatable. New spot for me was great feeling impressed and fulfilled needs.

I was a little disappointed to see they don't have any reptiles, turtles, etc, on site anymore, but otherwise it was just as good as it always is. There are pet clean up stations if your good boy has an accident, and there's a grooming clinic in the back that last I knew will do nails (best to get an appointment, of course). I still give them a fake number when I check out though :D

7/14/2022 Stopped by for some dog food. The store is well stocked, clean, and some interesting stuff. Easy to get in and out.

Pet grooming salons at 715 S 72nd St Omaha NE needs to update their hours of operation posting both on the main entrance and on the website. Came Wednesday 9/14/23 for a nail trimming at 4:30 PM and I was informed they were closed. Today 9/16 arrived at 8:15 AM for nail trimming, teeth brushing and ear cleaning as a walk-in, and was informed that they do not take walk-ins until 9 AM nowhere is this posted both on the website or at the entrance of Pet Smart. Do have to give kudos to the 2 staff members present they they did provide the service at that time. My time is valuable just as theirs is so updated posting of hours is part of excellent customer service. On a side note I have never had a bad experience with grooming at any Pet Smart grooming salon.

I stopped today with my 7 yrs girl and my 5yr old boy with downsyndrome and decided to buy 1 gold fish and the manager in charged refused to sell me 1 gold fish that requires 20gal because, my tank is 25 gal and she said that she has to sell me 2 gold fish. I replied back to her that I just want to have 1 fish in the tank, she said that Petsmart policy states that have to sell me 2 gold fish and that I only quality due to my economic struggles to put minnows in my 25 gal tank, shw will not sell me anything other than minnows. I clearly saw racism in her eyes.
