Clean, easy tsa check in. Saw the entire airport in five minutes. New updated restrooms. Car rental is right outside of the airport after security.

Third world country terminal. Garbage piled up in bathrooms. Food options after security are limited to junk food and alcohol. TSA arrogant (more than typical) and un-necessarily bossy. On the positive side, it is small and fast to get around. WIFI works well. Just don’t expect to pamper yourself in anyway. Most of the traveler’s just make the best of it and embrace their midwestern stoicism.

Small airport, that is usually busy. There are restaurants before tsa. And 1 central restaurant/store after TSA. Security wasn’t long

Very small airport. A "busy" TSA security checkpoint line is 10-15 minutes according to the PA system. There are restaurants before and after security, although the staff at Hudson News said the restaurants before security are better. There are also comfortable lounge chairs before security, too. Clean bathrooms. Lots of charging stations around the gate seating areas. There is a pet area is outside in front of the passenger loading area. There is only one passenger drop-off/pickup area since the baggage claim carousels are interspersed throughout the ticket counters. They even have a pay phone (except it only takes card)!

It’s a small airport so everything is really fast. I’ve never had any long weights here. Everything seems to be kept up really well and clean. Everything is modern and up-to-date. I would recommend this to anyone.

We have flown in and out a couple times this year. Eppley Airfield is a very nice airport. It is clean and the signage is easy to follow and find what you are looking for.

Nice little airport. Cloud be cleaner in some parts, but overall it's a good departure and arrival experience. The rental car building should be taken as an example for the rest of the airport.

I have flown into and out of this airport 5 times in the last year. Each time the road and parking has been under construction, but the traffic is minimal. The passenger drop off and pick up was a breeze every time. It is a smaller airport, but never congested. Longest security wait time I have had was 15 minutes. There is always a bathroom around every corner and plenty of seating on both sides of the airport. Always clean and boarding agents have been friendly every time I've passed through.

Not the best; staff are great - the people are all great - let me make that clear. But the amenities, convenience and layout are nearly non-existent, definitely non-existent and convoluted - respectively. One issue is that the concourse areas don't really have much of anything. Normally airports have all the shops and food and beverage you could want for the ticket it passengers but not here. It's one of those types of airports that works in pods. Also the TSA security checkpoint is understaffed as well. There was only one person checking people in who would always call passengers from the pre-check line which means that regular passengers never got to move forward. When they did finally get called the TSA pre-check passengers then head to forfeit they're paid for priority so that the regular passengers could finally be brought through security as they do eventually need to board a plane as well. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Que Sera Sera - there are different airports.

As far as small airports go, this one seems pretty decent. TSA pre check lines still have their privilege, there’s one place to eat hot food, which is reasonable. Gates have ample seating and functioning usb plug charging stations! And there aren’t a ton of TVs playing news or sports, which is a relief. Just some calm music piping through the intercom systems. Hopefully no delays on the way out!

This is a smaller airport so it usually doesn't take too much time to get through the check points to your gate. There's a large parking garage to use if you're just there to pick someone up. There are places to charge your electronics, plenty of seating, clean bathrooms, shops, and restaurants.

Definitely one of the best airports I have been to. Very clean and easy to get around. Going through security it's quite simple which is very nice. They have some good food options plenty of places to rest your head if you have a layover

Never fly in the morning in this airport. My flight boards at 4:40 and they haven't even open the gate for the TSA check in.

You’ll never get lost , and never will wait more than 15 min for your luggage… luggage carruseles are in the lower level of the bullying, it only has 2 floors. And we only have 4 carrousels.. Very small but clean airport the cleanest you’ll find in the USA.. if you arrived after 11 pm no traffic no people no headaches… Welcome to Omaha Nebraska!

Excellent Airport! Clean and well-kept areas including the restroom. The ride-share (Uber/Lyft) area is set up very well. This makes it so much faster and easier to identify your driver and get in and out quickly. It would be great if other airports set their ride-sharing areas like this! Great experience.

I flew out of this airport and through security A with no issues. Walk through scanner, no problems. Luggage/bag scanner, no problems. I then realized I should have been at the B gates. There is no connection between the 2 which means you have to leave the security area. Why is there no connection between A and B gates? When I entered the B walk through scanner, alarm went off so I had to be groped up and down. Then the luggage alarm went off so they went through all my bags. How is it I'm safe for A gates, but not B gates? Just proves the whole process is a joke. I told the guy searching my bag that I just went through security A with no issues and asked why B was different, I got no verbal response but rather an extremely nasty glare... like I was problem.

I love this little airport. It's so easy to get where you're going. They have everything you need right there. The car rental was seamless. It's so clean! It's close to Omaha and Iowa. I was very pleased, and I'm picky. i travel for work and I'm in airports twice a week or more. This is in my top 10 favorites.

Easy airport to navigate, had a good experience with Southwest. The shot glasses in the gift shop did crack us up though, nice Lincoln NE monument on an Omaha shotglass there 😂 also, I know it's a smaller airport but nothing open to eat at or buy late night.

Literally the most inefficient airport I have ever been to. I understand that it is a small airport but it needs to be more efficient in their processes. Open the other line of the TSA checkpoint when the existing line is backed up, not that hard, but apparently for these employees here it is. Avoid flying into here if you can……..

Not very polite! It’s full of construction on the outside but easy once you get in. I’ve flown out twice now and both times I noticed that the people aren’t very polite. For a small Town this surprises me. You’d think the employees would be more polite as they aren’t worked near as hard as say in Chicago.

Landed well from Denver, Colorado. Not as much turbulent as was thought we were to get. Could see lighted Nebraska communities the whole flight. Flew United this trip. Had to wear mask the whole trip.

Wonderful airport. Rental car is a little farther walk than most but not excessive. Clean bathrooms, organized well, helpful staff. Getting through security was actually a pleasure. Polite, nice staff, willing to explain and re-explain to travelers what was needed and expected. Total time through security was less than 7 minutes.

The quickest check-ins with the fastest security! It’s like nobody flies from here and the lines are super short. ProTip: Find the microwave and heat up your microwave pheasant! 1:54 on high and you’re good to go! (Be sure to remove all the steel/lead prior to!)

Quaint airport. Easy to navigate. Construction going on right now, Dec 2023. They have some traffic re-routed for arrival pick up just Follow the signs. We have flown through Omaha twice now and have been satisfied both times.

As far as airports go it was clean and seemed well organized. The TSA was fast. They have a new scan so I didn't have to empty my bags etc. They were all polite.

Very good small size airport. Clean, with lots of food options for an airport of this size. I liked that you can walk right to the rental cars, no shuttle bus

Slowest TSA in the nation which deliberately wastes people's time, occasional malfunctioning ramp...there are like 5 gates and a bag of chips at this landing strip, why are they not working? This is no longer an airport, it's a deteriorating landing strip. Avoid this airport, if you can afford it.

This was my first time flying out of this airport. Overall, I had a great experience with limited comments. Arriving is always a challenge I feel like with the constant construction. Upon arrival, I had a twenty minute wait to go through TSA. I love there’s a Scooter’s coffee station right after TSA. Very few gates to choose from which makes navigation easy. The bathrooms were clean and will stocked from what I saw.

We always enjoy our experience out of Eppley. Since it is a smaller airport, make sure to get there with plenty of time to get through security. Always clean and nice TSA agents (really!)

  • 3/5 Claire S. 9 months ago on Google
Small and clean airport with very low wait times, especially when you have TSA pre-check. However, the two concourses are divided and you may need to go through security if you're flying through another airline on a domestic flight. For example, I flew into Omaha via United and flew out American Airlines and had to go through security - literally, full security screening. I've never seen an airport do this and it makes zero sense, and is a waste of the very short-handed TSA resources. Aside from the very obscure and pointless security check to get to another domestic flight, I really like this little airport. I'll just plan a longer layover if I'm switching airlines when connecting through here.

Small. Easy. Limited. Pricey. Kind. Worth it.

Easy access to many great destinations. The terminal we frequently use has Cracky McGee’s restaurant which could be improved upon for their options… The security is easy to move through and flights typically leave relatively on time. The parking garage is very affordable for people waiting to pick up friends and family from the airport.

This is a nice place to fly from. It's small and easy to navigate through. My only concern is the food service. I traveled 2 hours to get to the airport and planned to eat when I got through security at 7:30 p m. When I got to the cashier he stated that they were completely out of hot food. Overall, it still was a great experience I grabbed something to eat and was satisfied.

Tiny airport!! The security seems to be a little extra due to the lack of passengers. I wanted to grab some Air Pods but they didn’t have any available in the little kiosk store. The restrooms were closed upon arrival to my flight gate and that wasn’t great right before a flight, thankfully the staff let me use the restroom on the plane before we moved. I enjoyed the small airport but missed a few regular amenities.

Small airport when comparing to major cities, but it's clean and easy to navigate. The food court is small with limited options but the service is fast and the prices are reasonable for an airport.

Like most people I get extremely nervous when driving to an airport. This wasn't actually that terrible. The new car park addition looks great. The interior of the airport was clean, busy with plenty of people to help. I'll know better next time not to book a first flight out as it was busier than I've ever seen in the security area. Other than that an experience which wasn't half as bad as I was expecting.

Overall this airport was easy to navigate. Upon arrival we had to go downstairs to the baggage claim, then go back upstairs to head over to the car rental garage. When you leave, especially if you rented a car, remember that the bag check-in is downstairs and you'll have to go back upstairs to go through TSA. There are some shops and spots to grab food or drinks before having to go through security, which I'd recommend since I only saw 1 or 2 places to do so in the gate area.

It's the best commercial passenger airport in Omaha! I actually really like their new North garage and rental car area. I was through security in 3 minutes this morning. Flying from smaller locales is so much faster than the bigger cities.
