This was our first time here. First off, the service was outstanding. They were very friendly and attentive. Seriously, the best service we’ve had in a while! The food was delish. The garlic naan is to die for! Can’t wait to go back and take friends and family with us!!!

We had a wonderful dinning experience here tonight. Food: although I’ve never had or even know how authentic Indian food taste like, it was fresh, packed with flavors, and served piping hot. My favorite has to be the fried cauliflower. It tastes like fried chicken. So delicious! And the soup that comes with the meal was excellent! Service: was welcoming, attentive and warm. The owners are so incredibly nice. Ambience: it is a new restaurant so everything looks new and modern. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

Fantastic Indian restaurant in Omaha! This was our first time here after some friends recommended it. Everything was delicious! The service is fast, and they are very friendly. The quality of the food is amazing! Lots of flavors and fresh ingredients. They even brought us dessert at the end of our dinner. We can't wait to go back! If you live in Omaha, this is the place for Indian food!

They deserve every bit of their 5 star rating. The food was amazing. Had tikka masala, garlic naan , and chicken samosa. The food was awesome,was full of flavor and served hot. All the employees were working hard and diligently, not one person was standing around. Heard several patrons say, best Indian food in Omaha. I definitely would reccomend!

This is the best dining in Omaha by far! Fantastic service from best waitress- Sipra. Very high quality food with great consistency. I have come here many times and always receive the best service & food. This is the only restaurant that I have an attachment to not just because of the tasty food, but also the staff that are very friendly and kind.

Excellent food and exceptional service. This restaurant has quickly become my favorite Indian restaurant in Omaha. The food has always been fantastic. We’ve tried a new appetizer at the recommendation of the owner each time we’ve gone. They recognize us now and know the right spice level for us. I also like how the kids food is just as good of quality as the adult food. For the chicken nuggets it’s not just frozen nuggets that have been fried. They actually cut fresh chicken and bread it. That is above and beyond to me. The kids really enjoyed their food. There are a couple other Indian restaurants in Omaha I really like, but the service at Star Indian is second to none. That’s why it’s my favorite Indian restaurant in Omaha. Looking forward to many more meals here!

This place is great! My wife and I always order two meals and share. It's about $40.00 for two people to eat. (Water to drink)There is always plenty leftover and the owners are very polite. They talk to guests and make them feel welcomed. This is by far the best Indian food we tried since mother India closed.

This place deserves every good review it gets. It has such a clean and welcoming environment, the wait staff is always super friendly and helpful at EVERY table by refilling drinks and picking up empty plates, and the food was simply amazing. We don't even live in Omaha, but I'll be recommending this to anyone who will be passing through.

Hands down the best Indian food in Omaha! Definitely recommend to both Americans & Indian Expats. The owner & staff are very friendly & professional. Prices are slightly higher than the other options in town, however their food is well worth it.

It was absolutely amazing experience! The waitress, Sipra, was quite amazing for her customer service! Quite literally an art form to have someone so great at customer service. I wish every retail and food place had people like her. It truly was amazing to be there and eat there. The food was absolutely wonderful! I highly, highly recommend!

I had great experience today and a very warm welcome from Rakesh, another person I missed to ask her name, they both were very friendly, helpful in accommodating me with my sleeping kid, I ordered chicken 55, chicken tikka, goat biryani, garlic naan, butter naan here, the food started coming quickly with the complimentary papad, green chutney, sweet sauce, soup, appetizer, and rest of the items, as I expected after tasting soup all the items were so so good, the service was also great. I had spl request salad with vegetables, they honored my request and got me the salad the best salad I’ve had in the recent times, I request the owners to have this salad on their menu too, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone if you want to have a good Indian food.

Best indian restaurant in town at the moment. Every item was pretty good. Well balanced, not too spicy, not too creamy and authentic flavors. Naan was really good as well and so were the desserts. I hope they are able to maintain the standard. The ambiance was nice and the hosts were very welcoming as well. I’ll definitely recommend this place.

What a wonderful experience, the staff is a delight, very attentive, charming and Inviting. The food is above compare, we had the butter chicken, Shrimp Tika, Mali Kafta, and Chiken Korma, all wonderful! The naan was fresh and melt in your mouth good. We went with our kids and they catered to there spice level, asked them what they liked in food and even brought a surprise to try. We will definitely come back, a new family favorite!

Very solid experience for my first time going. Chicken korma 5 stars Lamb vindaloo 4.5 stars Samosa 5 stars - I enjoyed these because there weren't dry inside. Often ive had them in the past and that was my issue, but here they were great. The pricing is good for all the options. The service was friendly and personable. The restaurant itself was very clean. Looking forward to trying more dishes. Parking is available in a medium sized shared lot. It's pretty easy to find parking

Great Indian food here in Omaha. We order this as take out often. Every dish is delicious. The flavors really pop. The meat and rice are good quality. Nice vegetarian options as well. The atmosphere and service for dine-in is a nice experience.

I finally discovered my favorite Indian restaurant in Omaha. Since moving here from Dallas Texas over a year ago, I've been searching for a new favorite. The food at Indian Star was amazing, the friendly staff truly make it an experience. I actually went two days in a row. Sorry for the poor quality photos I quickly snapped these so I could quickly dig in. Highly recommended. I might be returning again tomorrow. :)

This place is amazing. The service is great and the food was delicious. I like spicy food and the “medium” was flavorful without being too spicy. Make sure to get fried cauliflower appetizer. Also plan on taking leftovers home because you will be full and you won’t want to waste a bite.

First time here and already planing to come back next week! This place hasn’t been open for long but is always very busy ! The rich aromas are so intoxicating! It smells wonderful! I went here with a few friends and everything we ordered was amazing! You have to order the chicken samosas, chicken 55, buttered naan and of course dessert Galuab Juman! Their hospitality and customer service was top tier. The ambiance of this place is perfect! Be sure to get in before the dinner rush or you won’t get a table. This place is a hidden gem that deserves to thrive. Definitely take your family here for a wonderful meal and pay patronage to keep this place open for the community!

Indian cuisine is some of my favorite. I’ve lived in Omaha for 3 years and tried a lot of different Indian places and I’ve FINALLY found a place worth the 20min drive too. The Chicken 65 (they call Chicken 55) was amazing, we also had lamb korma, eggplant biryani, garlic+butter naan and gulab jamun (which they kindly gifted us one of). I’m not used to requesting my spice level at Indian restaurants, so that’s one quirk of this place. I didn’t get any, but they have Thums Up as well! We were over the moon and I’ll definitely be back.

Food was delicious. This was the first time that I've been there for dinner, but she said that I WAS HER FAVORITE CUSTOMER. Seriously you guys, you should go here & eat. Be sure to get the garlic naan bread!

The warmest atmosphere, the kindest people and the absolute best Indian food we have ever tasted anywhere. We drive over an hour to eat here anytime we have a craving for Indian and it’s absolutely worth it every time! Some of the best Samosas I’ve tried, and you can’t skip on the Chicken 55! All the curries are to die for, and we have yet to try a single thing that was anything other than amazing! We’ll be coming back again and again!

Insanely delicious. Feels like a high-end restaurant with the friendliest, funniest employees. The food was beyond tasty, covering flavors spanning from spicy, sweet and garlicky amazing naan! Could eat here everyday given how affordable the food is too. You have to eat here!
