(Translated by Google) The museum is very elegant and beautiful in terms of decoration and the division of artifacts into halls according to their history with written explanations on each artifact. The presence of a significant number of artifacts for all historical periods in Iraq, such as coins, Sumerian seals, cuneiform tablets, and Greek and Persian statues. The lighting in quiet colors, and the management of the place are all cooperative, and just what a guest can ask for a tour with an explanation of all the pieces and their meanings. The only point is that they have yet to answer more various artifacts and solve the issue of entering the main gate because some of the guards of the Popular Mobilization Authority dealt with tiredness and expel people with their own way. The place can be an excellent project for school trips or for any group interested in history.

The Basra Cultural Museum is located in the Al-Baradiya area, and contains the presidential palaces of President Saddam Hussein and pieces of antiquities. It also contains the Natural History Museum, which includes stuffed animals, marine fish, insects, and rocks. It is a beautiful place. Frankly speaking, Basra has developed one of the most beautiful provinces in Iraq. I hope this development continues for years and we will see. Reconstruction of bridges, infrastructure, stadiums, hotels, cornices, roads, rivers, everything, and anything important, like the hand of the worker, is visually devoid of marrow, without side, nor anything other than visual ethnicity.

Basra Civilization Museum. An important cultural monument and a witness to the ancient history of Basra. . Where the museum contains many relics dating back to the Hellenistic era (300 BC) in which Basra flourished as an important commercial port and center for science, scientists and music, from which it gained its important position that it has preserved to this day. The museum also contains many artifacts belonging to the various ancient civilizations of the Mesopotamia Valley, including the Sumerian, Babylonian and Assyrian civilizations in addition to Islamic. It was established in the building of one of the presidential palaces in the city of Basra and includes five main exhibition halls: Sumerian hall: with an area of 378 square meters. Used as an exhibition of Sumerian collections from different eras. Basra hall: with an area of 378 square meters. It displays the groups that date back to the different historical periods that the city of Basra went through. Babylonian Hall: With an area of 111 square meters. It shows collections dating back to Babylonian times. Assyrian Hall: 106 square meters. It displays the groups that date back to the Assyrian period. The Orientation Hall: It is located in the center of the building, which is the distribution center for exhibition halls. It is used as an exhibition of pictures and posters on the heritage, history and folklore of Basra in a brief way. When was your last visit to the museum? We believe that it is necessary to establish similar new museums in all of the Iraqi province, which will perpetuate the history of all the cities of Mesopotamia. Because of its role in introducing citizens to the ancient history of their country, developing a sense of belonging to the homeland, and in promoting the national identity of the individual.
