This mess is probably the most popular one in Ongole. But, my experience was disappointingly to say the least. First of all, who serves traditional meals in a paper thin glossy sheet of a plate? This totally killed the overall experience of the meal. Where in Andhra does a meal not start with a sweet? There is no sweet in this meal! Pappu was the only decent dish here. The chutney was too salty. The much hyped karapodi was poorly done with too pungent flavour. Was expecting some homemade set curd. Instead, got heritage bucket curd. All this for a not so cheap price of 120/- Wouldn't visit again or recommend to anyone.

This is what we got for lunch. No sweet, potato curry,pappu,karam,papad,sambar(no vegetables), and pullati perugu. I found this mess through youtube. It's all running on publicity no taste at all. I've ended up having food in a different mess Dwaraka mess, food was amazing with kunda perugu and 5-6 varieties of curries.

This is a much hyped place in Ongole but matches to '0' percent. The food has no Quality you will realise that it's not at all worth a penny only after spending around 1 hour of ur quality time and 200 to 400 rupees of money only. The service is utterly careless.

A great village homely vegetarian food experience for everyone! Please go before 2.30 pm, the food is most likely to be finished very fast due to so much crowd. If you go in the first 2 hatches, you're surely to get an amazing, abundant and awesome experience of what true Andhra food is.

I went to this place for the first time and I heard a lot about this mess in Ongole but I didn't feel like that. The footfall is high but there are very poor people management and food quality is also not great. Management is not responding for anything and food delivery toooo late Even they are not providing chairs for old-age people for waiting.

I have tried the Meals parcel and Considering the food items and the quantity, 160/- is High and its disappointing.

The food is very hygienic and the taste of the food is awesome. Very nice vegetarian food will be served. The highlight of the meal is dal, curry, that days chutney and curry leaf powder. They serve pure ghee as well when we dine in. All together I can say, we should not miss this place if we really want to eat authentic Andhra vegetarian meals.

A pure veg mess. They charge you Rs 120 and it is worth every penny. Only concern is long queue. In fact you have put your token on the table to reserve that place even before other person starts his meal. That kind of rush would be there.

Authentic Andhra Food. I am weary of eating the standardised biryani and fried rice across restaurants. But this mess is a pleasant relief. The ambience, the taste, the servers all had that wonderful touch of tradition. The ghee especially is the highlight. Highly recommended.

Good place for family to eat but the taste was not great like past

Rice quality is not up to mark. Only one curry served, which is tasteless. Sambar, rasam served but not good taste. Tomato chutney has no flavor. Curd is little bit hot. Salt is not being mixed in the dishes. They served ghee which is good. Over all disappointed us. We won't recommend this.
