Great, friendly cafe in downtown North Bay! I don’t know what the downtown would do without a cafe like this, to be honest. It’s warm and inviting and the food is fresh and very tasty.

Came across this little cafe/bakery, met the owner Michelle, the sweetest person ever! I ate the best chicken wrap and curry soup in my life and tried the tastiest lemon square. Everything was really good! Definitely the best food you will find in Northbay, not exaggerating. We’re already eager to come back just to eat your wraps and sweets Michelle😁😁 See you soon!

Great spot for lunch any day, but particularly on a cold rainy day! Garbanzo bean and chorizo soup with a salad was excellent. Followed by a treat from the bakery case. Next time I’m in North Bay I will be back at the Opera Bakery Cafe

This is the best Cafe/lunch spot in town, hands down. I have tried every place there is to eat in North Bay, and nothing comes close to the quality, atmosphere, and service of Opera. Do yourself a favour and GO HERE, NOW! The bread is to die for. Baked fresh every morning. So soft and fluffy, while delivering excellent complimentary flavour to any sandwich you construct with it. Moreover, regardless of what you choose from the menu (Coffee, sandwich, wrap, dessert, etc.), you will not be let down. Nothing I have consumed has even struck me as average - everything is excellent. No doubt my favourite place to eat in North Bay and as far as I am concerned, the other cafes in town should take notes.

A very amazing place to go and visit during the day! The salads, sandwiches, and the wraps are to die for. I tried the scone too they are amazing. Will definitely visit the place again.

I've been here 3 times now, and I'm just amazed every time. The food is top tier, whole and fresh. If you have specific dietary restrictions, they'll most likely have something for you. You must try their soups, salads, coffee and desserts. The service is amazing too. Good job Opera Cafe team!

Far the best coffee shop in North Bay! Wide variety of gluten free options with fantastic desserts as well as sandwiches and salads. Gluten free flour in-house made! Forget about Starbucks or Twiggs. This is the spot!

The staff is always super kind and hospitable, the food and beverages are always good and tasty. A great place to sit down and enjoy a coffee and scone!! I have been to this bakery/bistro many times now and every time I visit I'm greeted with enthusiasm and a warm smile. It's a perfect little nook to take a break and enjoy the small things.

Fantastic lunch, everything homemade (bread, soup etc) and so fresh. Friendly and attentive staff, the flavours are perfectly balanced and the cappuccinos the best in North Bay!

While visiting North Bay recently I came across a review of this place and decided to give it try. I was pleasantly surprised by the drink and food selections. Great customer service! The cookies, butter tarts, squares and lunch menu options were great. I highly recommend you go and try it out. You can eat in or out on the patio. A must stop!😋

Recently stopped in with friends. Can't rave enough about this place! Food was so good! The staff was really friendly and helpful. My daughter can be a picky eater and the lady who served us made a custom order of a simple cheese sandwich. My daughter LOVED it.i had the wham bam thank you ham. It was amazing. The bread alone is worth going for. Highly recommend this spot.

I would not have minded paying three dollars for a small butter tarts if it had been edible. Unfortunately it had been in a freezer so long that it smelled and tasted stale.

This Store is amazing - they went above and beyond to help me out with a long distance order! Soooo great- exceeded my expectations and now cannot wait to go into this Bakery myself to shop.. Would highly reccomend

My friend and I went here for lunch for the first time, and it was one of the tastiest lunches I've ever had! I got the Opera Chicken Wrap with the Raspberry Iced Tea, and it was absolutely delicious, we can't wait to go back! Such lovely staff too!

This is a very beautiful bakery, my favourite in North Bay. They have some great pastries and excellent coffee. Today, I tried their sandwiches, specifically the Tuna Sandwich, it was delicious. The service is excellent as always.

This is a little gem on the main street in downtown North Bay. We had a wonderful lunch with homemade food and generous portions. The soup special was Carrot Currey which was wonderful. It came as a side with my sandwich (fresh made in-house bread) and also with my wife's salad. The butter tarts are the same way my grandmother made them - delicious!

We were just passing through the town and stopped by for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. They ran out of soup for the day, unfortunately but the sandwich and the wrap was tasty. I got the chicken Cesar wrap which was a bit dry, but the tuna sandwich and the Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Ham didn't just have a phenomenal name, but it was also my favourite thing that I tried from the cafe. I recommend this place to anyone who likes decent coffee and great staff and food.

Great food, amazing service, and very fast too despite it being busy at lunchtime. I always love coming here when I'm in North Bay!
