This is a beautiful higher end store that literally had a little of everything. From food to plates, Christmas decorations, coffee makers, books and more. I spent over an hour just walking around looking. If you are in the area definately a place to check out. For many years, we have visited this shop twice per year when we visit Stratford. It is a beautiful shop, no doubt, and they have the right to price things how they want to and if people are willing to pay it, that is on them. But the markup on the products I've checked is unbelievable. I have many times been interested to purchase something and while in the shop have checked online on my phone to see if I can get the same product cheaper elsewhere and every time I have easily found it for significantly less online for literally the exact same brand name product. I like supporting local shops, but not when it seems they are gouging their customers. Also, year after year, there doesn't seem to be many new, exciting items. It always seems the same or similar products. Lastly, the staff have never been overly welcoming or friendly.

I called this morning and, within the hour, had this beautiful gift basket ready and being delivered today. Carrie was so helpful and had great ideas!! This will be my go-to for Stratford. I can't wait to visit the store! Exceptional Customer Service!!

Top notch store. We have been purchasing items here for a number of years and found their products to be best quality at reasonable prices and service impeccable. We recently made our first online purchase, priced better than any other store and shipped the same day. Will definitely be making more online purchases and, when possible, more in store buys.

we just had the weirdest experience here. I just purchased something and as I was finishing paying for the item, the person working removed all the tags from the item and threw them in the trash. I said “I guess I’m not returning that, hey?” She laughed and handed me the item and said goodbye. What if this was a gift? What if there was a problem with it and it needed to be returned? It was not marked as final sale and the woman didn’t say anything about it being non-returnable. it was a kitchen item, not perishable food or anything of the like. Still not sure what just happened. EDIT: In response to the owner reply… I understand removing the price tag. But this employee removed ALL tags. The item in question had a example of how to use the product on the tags, which were removed. Also, without any tags whatsoever, this item now just looks like I took something out of my kitchen to wrap up and give as a gift. Surely removing all branding from the item is not the store policy?

Very nice store for home goods. High end items. Prices a little steep on some items, but overall on par with any other place.

Went in close to closing on Sunday evening with a grumpy toddler in tow. Chris did a full sales experience for our two year old, giving him change and passing him the bag. Gave our little one a real thrill and I had time to shop. Super staff and lovely items. We bring our family every time they are in town for a visit.

Excellent store, high end stuff. This is where to go when only the best will do. It is kind of pricey though.
