This was a bad experience from the time of booking. I booked through a third party and changed the date and this hotel charged me 186$ for changing the date, and it was a disaster to get that refunded. Then, three days before the actual date they charged me 225$ and said that was an accident so reversed that as well but tied up my credit AGAIN. The day we are to arrive I call at 1pm asking for an early check in and was told yes I’d be called once the room is ready. Our original check in time was 4pm. Well guess what. It’s 4pm and our room isn’t ready ….unbelievable!!!!!! So much for an early check in and they couldn’t even make the room ready on time. Horrible customer service, and I paid for a suite! I 100% will not be back to this hotel.

Jess and Morgan are simply some of the best people I’ve ever had to deal with during my time travelling for work. They make this hotel feel like home away from home and are always there to accommodate you if needed. Do you need a place to eat? Talk to Morgan. He knows all the spots for good eats and live music. Hasn’t steered me wrong yet. Jess does an immaculate job in the presentation of the hotel, I’ve seen her scrub the grout in the lobby and it’s cleaner than a coal train whistle when she’s done with it. Breakfast is rock solid. What more do you need?

The hotel is new so is clean and well maintained as would be expected. The breakfast that was included was a standard continental with a few hot dishes (eggs and waffles, sausages and home fries). Everything was hot and was constantly being refilled. The hotel was busy and the staff were hustling, and our stay was an overall positive experience.

We stayed here for three nights with our kids. Parking is free. Location is very close to a lot of stores. The staff are nice and helpful. The whole hotel seems very clean. It smells clean and seems like the staff do a really good job at keeping it clean. The rooms are very clean and there isn't dust anywhere. Sometimes in hotels you find balls of dust under the desk or where there are electrical wires but not this hotel. They seem to take a very serious approach to keeping things clean. I have a habit of looking under the bed before leaving to make sure I didn't leave anything behind. There isn't any dust or garbage under the beds. It's clean. The air conditioner worked and was nice and cold. The only thing is when another room nearby is taking a shower, you may hear loud water sounds. The washrooms were ok. But the hotel should consider getting small step stools and premptively supply it for parents with young children. That would definitely be a nice touch. The breakfast is very decent for what it is. Decent selection of drinks, hot food and other things. The staff look like they work very hard to make sure the breakfast area is well stocked and clean. I noticed the staff will take note of where people are eating and will wipe down the tables right after. There is also a drink are where water, ice, tea and coffee are available around the clock. The pool was ok but some of the floor tiles near the chairs are starting to break and need repair.

My wife and I have stayed at this motel on numerous occasions and we have never been disappointed. Great service, pool / hot tub and excellent continental breakfast. Also good location to restaurants and stores. Thanks love it

We stayed 1 night (Saturday) in Sudbury, ON. King-sized bed in our room. Everything seemed clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable. Darkening curtains helped keep the room nice and dark for sleeping. Full breakfast in the morning. Eggs, sausage, bagels/bread, waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea. Working jacuzzi and swimming pool with towels to dry off. This was my first time staying at a Fairfield hotel and it was great! Staff was friendly and helpful too.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We were there during Family Day weekend. The pool was great, the hottub was nice and the hotel was really clean. Maria, who did the breakfast, was phenomenal! The spread of food was amazing for my family, who had dietary restrictions. Most importantly, the quality was great. We would 100% stay there again and enjoyed it. The day we left, they drained the hot tub and scrubbed it!!! It was super comforting to see they cared about the small stuff as its peace of mind!

The front desk staff and kitchen staff especially one old lady were polite and nice, happily carrying out their daily duties. However, the management is horrible to communicate with customers in room 307 when a/c unit broke down on our last day. They promised to call me and I've not received any calls.

Comfortable room. Continental breakfast had a good variety of options. Was on a bus tour so locations for a nice dinner were sparse if your walking, no in house restaurant. Confusion with our room keys upon arrival since they weren't prepared.

I would say it's 3.5 stars across all the categories. It won't let me do that so though. Lobby was nice but you smell pool chemicals as soon as you enter. The room smelled nice and was relatively clean (hotels should implement a deep cleaning schedule for things like tile grout in the bathroom). The breakfast was just okay. Our last day we went across the parking lot to eat at Cora. I like that in the hotel breakfast area there's a bottle filling station. We were able to fill up before leaving the hotel. Wish the staff had pointed this out when I enquired about water. It would have saved me the $4 charge for two bottles of water from their market. The pool is tiny. Smallest pool I've ever seen. The photos were misleading. On the positive side,the few staff we interacted with were friendly. Our first two nights there was a lot of noise. I'm not sure if it came from guests staying above us but it sounded like a herd of elephants and made sleeping impossible. Stomping mixed with clanging metal. It was awful. I don't fault the hotel for this. This hotel was just okay. I'm on the fence about whether or not I'd stay here again. Before booking I was also looking at the Hilton garden (which is across the street) and went with this one because the rate was slightly cheaper and included breakfast. The location is great. You can walk to Cora, Starbucks, Rexall drug store, the Keg. Milestones and Boston Pizza are a short distance away (you likely could walk if you really wanted to). It's also really close to science north. The staff in the breakfast area were really great. They were cheerful and friendly with all the hotel guests and very accommodating with guest requests. They deserve some recognition by upper management. Very disappointed my card was charged for wifi which was supposed to be included with my room!

The rooms here are very clean and modern. They offer a free breakfast that features a wide selection of breakfast foods. The front desk staff is very friendly. Very easy to find from the Trans Canada Highway. Thank you!

Wife was up in Sudbury for 5d for work so I tagged along did some sight seeing etc. Our room was nice and clean had all we needed only issue was tv was non responsive most the time which was frustrating, the pool and hot tub were very clean and staff were always making sure you were okay. They also have great breakfast selection and definitely was enjoyed by myself such as sausage, cereals, bagels, omelettes, oatmeal etc etc definitely recommend if your up that way.

An overall good and very clean hotel. Throughly enjoyed our stay overnight while on a road trip through Sudbury. However do NOT be fooled by the fact that it says they have car charging stations. I chose this place among the other options because I intended to charge overnight while we slept and instead all they have are plugs you can plug your own chargers into. Not at all the same thing and I was left having to go find a fast charger after a long day because of this inaccuracy. However the staff was MOST helpful unlike some other places I’ve stayed at on this trip and helped us find a place to charge nearby while we grabbed a bite to eat and gave us snacks to eat for the inconvenience of the error. And since we had to leave very early the next morning they prepared little bags of breakfast to go for us that were ready for us at 5:45 am to pick up at the front desk on our way out.

Location was perfect for my needs. Rooms were clean and quite comfortable. The staff was was very friendly and the breakfast was perfect!

What a great Hotel. I stayed here for a week the breakfast is amazing here. The staff in the kitchen were amazing. I used the pool and hot tub daily. I recommend this hotel 100%

Hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was decent. My only complaint is that this hotel is still using paper plates and glasses. Surely it would be more environmentally friendly to use regular dishes and wash them? Get with it Marriott!

1) I was at this hotel for two nights. Mr. Morgan was at reception. We were two families and wanted to stay nearby. When I went there he gave me room at ground floor and told me that there is no room available at upper floor. However, my two friends got room at second floor. 2) The towels were not news and when I opened then there were cut. This was worst part. 3) There was no microwave at all in this room. All hotels provide microwave.

The hotel is well located. Breakfast in the morning is a delight. I found the rooms to be a bit small and outdated. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful which is a plus point for them.

We stayed for one night. The beds and pillows were amazing. I and my traveling companion both had the best sleep. I wanted to take a pillow. Haha I didn't don't worry. The pool area was small, but functional, hot tub was relaxing. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety and was tasty. The staff friendly. Good stay.

Perfect, very clean, comfortable beds. My room didn't have a microwave if you care about having one. Location is great though because Cora's is just across the lot for breakfast, Starbucks and Tim's within walking distance and there's lots of good restaurants around. No crackheads I could spot in the area as well which is a big deal these days.

Neat and tidy. Hot tub was great for soothing our sore muscles after snowmobiling.

Morgan at the front desk was amazing! He did an excellent job at going above and beyond to make our stay memorable! 10/10 service. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice new hotel. Everything was clean and well kept. Appeared to have adequate staff to keep up, and the front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional.

Well following up my prior review , it is now 10:00a.m. Monday morning and well no phone call, no email , no refund since taking the $286.75 for the stay I did not receive on Friday and had to stay at the comfort inn across road. Was an unplanned yet necessary trip already that was costly and the unbudgeted $300 loss has affected other needs not wants but hey, the typical of large companies, there is absolutely 0 cares as it is not their money , I bet of a hotel bill outstanding, would need to be addressed immediately but no such thing as a 2 way street with the fairfield inn. Thanks this has now cost me more then a hotel stay.

We were very pleased with hotel. Staff was wonderful ,I needed a late checkout due to medical tests. Everyone was so very pleasant! Room was very clean and the whole hotel as well!
