Working with Mariam, Ji and the entire Engage Studio team was such a pleasure. They were always very quick to respond to messages and very accommodating to my busy schedule. Their cameras are HD so even during virtual calls it felt almost as if I was in person looking at diamonds, which is perfect considering COVID19 has restricted a lot of face to face meetings. Although I already had an idea of what type of diamond and ring design I was looking for, I still watched all of their youtube video series and read each of their blog posts regarding diamonds and rings. Even if you’ve never researched about engagement rings, their videos and blog are extremely helpful and feel like you already know Mariam and Ji before you actually meet them! Mariam is extremely knowledgeable and is very upfront and transparent about everything. She will educate you about all you need to know about engagement rings. She will walk you through the entire process from the initial phone call consultation up until the final product. Any questions or concerns she will gladly answer them in a timely manner. Most importantly they will consider your budget giving you the best ring all while staying within it. Any changes that are made, they will let you know about pricing upfront. I had a tight proposal date in mind and they were able to have the custom engagement ring made on the date I specifically requested. Usually custom rings are made within 6-8 weeks but had mine done in 5! My fiancée absolutely loves her ring and wouldn’t change a thing. The Engage Studio team did such a stunning job. I highly recommend Engage Studio and we will be going with them to get our weddings bands in the future! :)

Ji and his team had the massive task of helping us to create a second engagement ring, due to unfortunate circumstances with another jeweller & our original ring. So we came in a little wounded and nervous - but the Engage staff were the pinnacle of professionalism and patience, as the design process took some time for me to feel fully ready to take the leap into production. After all, we can honestly say that it was a great experience, with very kind and mindful support, and we ended up with a spectacular ring. They also gave us a memory box and a little gift to help us on our marriage journey, and we felt that was the perfect finishing touch.

They did a fantastic job in curating my ideal ring. It is beautiful and exactly What I wanted. They have an automated system which keeps you updated throughout the process, making it easy and convenient. Overpriced! Was given a quote for a lab diamond and was told it was the best possible price on the market. Luckily, I spoke to another private jeweler before committing and was offered a larger and better quality diamond for over 1000 dollars less. Was told that the price offered at Engage Studio was a rip off. They were very friendly though and had a good experience until realizing they were asking too much money. Reply to the owner: I wrote the review on behalf of my husband who was booking appointments at the time we were looking for an engagement ring. I was with him for all appointments. This was two years ago and we worked directly with Ji. Ji actually stopped following up with my husband once my husband told him we were going to get a quote elsewhere before paying a deposit. We assumed it was because he knew he was quoting us too much.

Mariam from Engage Studio took my vision and turned it into my dream ring! She got the most beautiful moonstone gem for the engagement ring and advised on accents gemstones for the wedding band. The process was really fun and exciting for me and my partner, from looking at the various designs in store and combining elements we liked from different rings, to seeing the draft rendering, choosing the stone, and the final product. Our experience with Mariam was fantastic and we absolutely love the final ring product! The process of brainstorming with Mariam to design a ring was so much fun. She really gets to know you and what you like and her feedback was invaluable. She gave me ways to personalize my ring beyond what I would have expected (e.g. I got to include my kids initials in my ring setting and even got to have them use my own handwriting which was so special!). I went into Engage Studio back in August to surprise my girlfriend with an engagement ring on an upcoming trip. I had minimal knowledge about diamonds and jewelry but I knew the look I wanted. I can honestly say, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had making any purchase in my life (especially such an important one). From start to finish everyone who helped me, Michelle, Matt, Mariam, Elisha, they’ve educated me and helped create a ring my fiancé really loved. While being very enthusiastic and genuine. Some of the main things that I am super appreciative of that they did really well were that they always answered my many questions with clarity and detail, they accommodated to my schedule on when to have meetings, and they never pressured me into spending more than my budget or even trying to get me to reach my budget. They curated a wide range of jewels for me and it seemed they really wanted me to get what I wanted and what I was comfortable spending. And for that I am extremely grateful, thank you Engage Studio! Engage Studio created my dream engagement ring. I decided I wanted a heart shaped diamond ring and Mariam procured 2 beautiful heart diamonds for me and my fiancé to start with viewing in person. Mariam guided me along the way and understood exactly what I explained I envisioned after I chose which heart diamond I would like to start with. It is such the perfect heart diamond. The shape is perfect and I get so many compliments on the sparkle and how precious it is. I cried when Mariam presented me with my ring. We call her my ‘Queen’ diamond. It was a great pleasure to work with Mariam. She was very respectfully with our budget and really focused on what I liked. The design was great and the actually piece came out way better than I expected. Every thing is hand made which adds the extra TLC to make it perfect. You don't have to pay big bucks to design a piece of jewellery. There are a lot of choices with regards to what gems to use and Mariam is able to find something that will fit your budget. Even with COVID we were able to meet online and pick out everything and also get the ring completed very quickly. They are very detailed oriented and will make sure the piece is perfect before they deliver. I definitely recommend them of you're looking for a ring! Let them help you make your dream come true.

I have the ring of my dreams thanks to my wonderful fiancé and the folks at Engage Studio! Everything about this ring is immaculate, and as a stickler for details, they got everything right and more. Ji and Mariam's knowledge and passion were evident in every meeting, and were the clear choice after meeting with several studios. There were a few bumps in the process - with it being one of the busiest seasons for engagements and weddings, and with their team expansion, there were some natural growing pains and sometimes things didn't go exactly as we expected. However once we voiced our concerns, they made sure to make us feel heard and cared for, and really took their time to make us feel that they were just as invested as us in the process, and I'm so appreciative for that. Would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a ring!

Hands down the best place to get your engagement ring/wedding band in GTA. We got ours here and are very happy with the results. Here you get to set your own budget and they will work around that to provide you with different options. You also get to customize your rings with your own preferences, which is a huge plus if you are looking to create your own unique design. They will also show your prototypes before the real products to ensure everything is on track. Overall we are very happy with our experience here and will definitely come back for future jewelry purchases.

After exploring many jewellers to go the custom route for an engagement ring, my partner and I finally found a place that is professional and knowledgable and most importantly, creative and open-minded to all the details that went into designing a custom ring. I felt like they truly had my best interests in mind and encouraged and accommodated all the little changes I made to design the perfect ring! The process was overall a positive experience working both with Mariam for design inspiration and Ji who took care of the technical side, CAD drawings and resin models.

We went last minute to have a look at their styles and selections. We are a pretty young couple and we are on a budget. Madeline (very sorry if I misspelled that) was very helpful and understanding. She was very respectful of our budget. She was thorough when going through options and was not pushy when it came to showing us options they have. She definitely made the experience welcoming and we are hoping to finish up with them!

My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Engage Studio. We had some reservations because we're in Montreal, so we didn't have time to see or try on the different rings in Toronto before picking our wedding bands, and yet the team did such a fantastic job!! Mariam was just awesome, she was able to see the vision that we wanted. They sent a photoshopped picture of what it would look like, and it just went sooo well!! I was recommended Engage studio by a friend of mine. I could not be happier. Ji is intuitive and listens well to what you want in order to create the best product. He was able to incorporate a gemstone I received from my grandmother into my new piece. With this experience, I would not hesitate to reach out to Ji again for any further jewellery. By the way, my ring was not an engagement ring or wedding ring, and most reviews are on those items. However, not once did I feel like my ring was of lesser importance or took a back seat to other clients. It was a simple ring (in my mind) that Engage studio executed beautifully.

My partner and I did custom engagement rings with Ji, and they both came out PERFECT. Considering how custom our rings were, they did have to go a different route in the ring journey from scratch to finish. They're incredible listeners and truly give you creative power in the designs, and they have smart inputs too. Just beware if you're going the custom design route, it'll take time. For reference, we paid our first instalment at the last week of Sep 2022, my partner's ring was done before Christmas, and mine was done in the first week of Feb 2023. The wait is WORTH it. This is something you can't rush and Engage Studio did a beautiful job at making our vision a reality. We highly recommend them for your jewelry design needs <3

I was especially impressed by the transparent communication the team has in sharing CAD renderings to see the evolution of such a monumental symbol in the lives of my wife and I. This team goes above and beyond in fulfilling their promises. Despite a tight schedule, Engage Studio delivered my wife’s ring right on time. To add to that, they are particularly reliable and I can say with certainty that they truly care about their clients. This is evident as I could sense the enthusiasm from them as I went in for ring pickup. Thanks to Jun for being very professional and explaining all the details surrounding the ring’s maintenance and answering all my questions very succinctly. If I could, I would give a 6/5. Cannot recommend Engage Studio enough! Their whole team is the definition of professional, organized, knowledgeable, competent, thoughtful, creative, supportive, etc. From your first consultation (and maybe even before then if you are able to watch their very informative videos), you will realize you and your vision for your ring are in great hands. I came in alone, with nothing but a single vague idea, and Ji and team helped me build it into a simple but elegant and unique ring that my now-fiancee ended up loving. The design process was extremely thorough, and Ji made sure that I considered EVERYTHING during the ring design process. However, designing the ring never felt too slow a process or too quick. Like Goldilocks, it was just right. They want to make sure you are 100 percent satisfied with the design before they proceed with fabrication. This includes producing a CAD rendering and resin model before the real thing is made. Ji was involved, knowledgeable, detail-oriented and supportive throughout. The guy knows his stuff! Production-wise, they move quickly. My ring was made in about 1.5 weeks. After I popped the question, it became apparent that the ring was too small for my fiancée's finger (entirely my fault, I provided the wrong ring size to Engage). No problem!!!! Engage was kind enough to put a rush on the resizing, which was done in less than a week. It helps a lot that the whole team at Engage are very organized and responsive, too. I never had to follow up with emails or calls. They kept me informed and updated the entire way through and were proactive in doing so. A lot of places can do a custom engagement ring for you. But Engage Studio offers so much more than that. With them, it really is a journey. An engaging, informative, fun, and smooth journey, at least for me. I actually learned a lot, and I am grateful to their whole team. What's more impressive is that they delivered such a great experience during what I imagine is a very busy move to larger location downtown. Hope to work with them in the future!
