UPDATE: Family members said the shortbread and butter tarts are delicious! Original msg: Needed a bakery that could deliver yummy treats as we are outside of Durham. EatMyShortbread website allowed us to order online, had great selections of shortbreads, including butter tarts and more and an option to deliver locally at checkout which was cheaper than I was expecting. Our family was delighted and is looking forward to eating everything!

Eat My Shortbread is buttery homemade heaven. I never actually liked shortbread until I tried Trisha's shortbread rounds. Now I can't stop eating them! As if the shortbread wasn't enough to keep going back, she also has incredible cookies, a wide assortment of scones, brownies, butter tarts, and a little caramel treat called Craic. If you want to try them all I recommend ordering a stash box, where each treat is carefully packaged and shipped to your door. I mean come on, baked goods at your doorstep? What more could a pandemic girl ask for. And of course, Trisha is the kindest human you will ever meet. I've had the pleasure of working with her on a few projects and she is always trying to spread joy and find ways to give back to her community. Why are you still reading this? Go to Eat My Shortbread! Go now!

I was excited to try this place, but now having done so I can’t understand the 4.9 score. I’ve had a LOT of shortbread in my time, including all over Scotland and I regularly make my own - and this is by far the worst shortbread I’ve ever had. It tastes like you’re eating dried play-doh. Scones are good, though - otherwise I’d have to give it a 1.

Stumbled across this bakery on my way back to the shop. Now I do love scones. My ma would bake them on saturdays along with the weekly bread. I've never had quite a bacon cheddar scone like this one, my receipt which was skillfully sent to my phone it said, " Savory Scones" (cheddar bacon scone). First of all, it is quite flavor-full, so savoury, yes; but I was a bit perplexed by it's flavor, just a bit. I know it was made from butter, based, not just on their signs inside, but you could taste it, plus I requested butter and they complied (see below) My feeling was that it's a hybrid scone between a real biscuit and a scone, if that was their goal, then 5/5, but I still can't put my finger on the ingredient, no not chive, something else, or at least it seems like it. My scone cost was $4.80, (eat in my car) no problem it's a bakery. I will visit their location at the shopping center and edit this review is necessary. Till then, this is it. Nice operation.

They had a stall set up for Canada Day and we purchased the mixed tarts, lemon, buttertart and truffle buttertart. Absolutely delicious! I'm not usually a huge shortbread person but this was buttery and made amazing tart crust (I don't really like pie crust or tart crust in general either). I will absolutely buy from here again. My grandma makes homemade buttertarts and they're great, but I actually like these better (although I can never tell her that).

We used this company twice for corporate events in the last month and we were very pleased. We had the custom printed cookies and they were delicious and beautifully presented! We highly recommend her!

We got several of their products for thanksgiving as we had guests and wanted to make sure to have something delicious to offer. I was truly amazed by the quality of the products. They are genuine and absolutely delicious. It has become our go to for scrumptious shortbreads.

Literally addicted to the delicious chocolate chip scones. I had never had a scone before, but now I don't think I can eat anything other than these. The Craic is my daughter's absolute favourite. It's just the right about of sweetness. We can't say enough wonderful things about this company. They are very involved in community initiatives, supportive to all businesses, and put care into each and every recipe. So happy to have such a wonderful bakery right here in Durham Region.

Oh my god this is literally the best shortbread I’ve ever had. I don’t even really like shortbread all that much but the Craic is like literal crack - I am so obsessed! Absolutely delicious oh my goodness. 10/10 - definitely recommend!!!

OMG the shortbread is a MUST BUY! Sampled at One Food and purchased the Salted Caramel Shortbread and I have never had anything like it. You’ll be buying more once you try it.

I received a gift last year after I was recovering from surgery. I thought it was such a unique and different gift so when I wanted to treat a friend who is struggling with health issues, I sent her a package to brighten her day. I got the Ultimate Package so got to sample lots of different treats. They were all delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!

Are you kidding me with these things? I ordered a box of treats from Eat My Shortbread and everything in there was incredible! The Craic was unlike anything I have ever tasted in my life. Shortbread is not my favourite. I typically find it dry and kind of bland. The kind of stuff that just sticks to the roof of my mouth with an addition of sprinkles. This changed my whole opinion on shortbread. If you like shortbread, you will love these. If you don't like shortbread, you will love these. P.S. Try the Craic. Try the Craic. Holy smokes, try the Craic.

Love the Scones and the shortbread. Service is excellent - always very friendly and knowledgeable. Appreciate the wide select of GF options - this is hard to find at a small bakery. So happy to have found this delicious bakery :)

I placed an online order for a dozen custom-designed shortbread cookies as a gift to someone. They were able to replicate my design on the cookie and it printed very well. The customer service was exceptional. Trisha went above and beyond because she gave me a call after I placed my order and did everything she could to make sure my order would arrive on time. She also gave me a couple of extra cookies and they were the best shortbread cookies ever. So sweet and the texture was perfect. Most importantly, the gift recipient loved the cookies! I will definitely order here again. So happy with my experience!

My mother and I just had a wonderful experience at Eat My Shortbread. I had recived a gift from them before and have been wanting to check them out for a while and I'm so glad I finally did. They were VERY knowledgeable and even gave samples. I love how they can customize ANY order big or small. I kove how they also support other small local businesses too. I will gladly visit again for a pop in treat and to also pick up bags of treats for gifts for any celebrations ♡ Highly recommend for customized work treats, sport teams, wedding gifts, Christmas and much more ♡ Thanks again.

Delicious treats and a very friendly owner! The shortbread is so buttery, the best I have tasted! I love the creativity and variety of treats that Eat My Shortbread has. Our favourite are the salted caramel brownies, craic and shortbread-based butter tarts! This company does a lot of charity work as well which is amazing to see from a small business!

They make the best scones! Toffee is our favourite, but you can't go wrong with any. The cheddar herb is also one of our faves and the CRAIC is addictive! I love supporting small businesses, and these are good people. Excellent customer service! If you haven't tried them you're missing out!

My husband and I during Doors Open Oshawa 2022 found this gem. We are so thankful we did. We both had herbed scones that Trisha warmed up for us. On the first bite we knew we were hooked. They are so buttery and absolutely delicious - the BEST scone I have had and I have had many over the years. Also had lattes and of course some sweets. These were delicious as well. Although I don't live in the area I will be making detours back to this bakery. If you live in or close to Oshawa consider yourselves lucky that you have these yummy baked good so close by.

I ordered a chocolate chip scone and was very pleased, i prefer my scones with a bit more of a crunch on the outside but the inside was soft and moist. I also ordered various cookie flavors and enjoyed them but unfortunately pulled a long hair out of one of the cookies. Overall very good.

The salted caramel Craic is simply amazing, but be warned, highly addictive! In addition to a great product, cannot say enough about the excellent customer service. Very responsive and caring, well done!
