    The event gives local bands/performers an opportunity to present their acts to a substantial number of punters, always worthwhile for up and coming artists. Parkpop has been running for a few years now. The organisers have the know how for putting on this festival covering the stage, sound systems, amenities, food and refreshments. Security at the entrance is supplemented by a substantial police prescience immediately outside the perimeter. All this and it is free, gratis, for nothing.
